My elderly great-aunt had a water leak in her house and we had to go through a water restoration company to help move things along. However, since my aunt's house was built in the 1970s, there was a test that had to be run for asbestos (and it came back positive). So our water restoration company sent us the number for Elijah and Alma at United Environmental, and they were seriously the best team to ever have when dealing with abatement. Our insurance company (AAA) was being such a pain and was taking forever to approve our estimates, but Elijah and Alma kept us in the loop at all time and were always available to talk or answer any questions we had. Elijah was even on vacation in another state and STILL answered my call and got me the answer I needed. I seriously have never gotten that level of service from anywhere else and this team at United Environmental are truly amazing. Before it gets confusing, I would recommend United Environmental to anyone who needs demolition because they were outstanding how clean they were handling a messy task. We did run into a lil incident where they already started the demo by removing the tiles on the shower and floor when they weren't supposed without my insurance approval. And cause of this incident and since the insurance saw nothing wrong w the tiles, did not cover the floor and bathroom wall tiles and basically we had to come out of pocket. So time to explain why this is confusing. Why I would still recommend United Environmental to anybody is how they managed to keep the area clean doing a messy job and how professional they were. United Environmental was actually brought in by the restoration contractor handling a sewage overflow in our rental property. United handled the asbestos abatement task as asbestos was found in the drywall. I'm glad United was chosen because out of the whole process which has been real taxing, the part that involved United had been the easiest and stress free. Alma who I guess is the administrator or owner, was clear in her communications, responsive, and willing to do extra to help get the work done. Elijah who handled the field work was the same as Alma. With them I felt a sense of reassurance that I didn't always feel with a lot of contractors. Obviously, I don't wish to have to deal with United again, because that would mean another interior flooding and that would mean more white hair. We just had water leak in our house that required two bathrooms to be gutted and half of our kitchen ceiling removed... everyone we spoke to said it was going to be a nightmare... thanks to Jesse and his incredible team here it was like a commercial! Elijah showed up right away to figure out what they needed to remove and seal up- he then immediately sent out Sergio and Juan to do all of the removal of our asbestos and seal our house off. We have two boxer dogs and we also both work from home so we were terrified about the sound and about the dust and about the chaos... But from the moment that these guys showed up on time, they literally from start to finish every single day they were here they were so quiet and so respectful we were actually able to work from home while they did the full removal of asbestos and they sealed our house off like a military operation. I mean this looks incredible. We have brand new carpet and I was so worried that going in and out and in and out it would get destroyed and they sealed our stairs off perfectly. They literally left no dirt no dust no debris of any kind. I had to go back and tell all of my neighbors that the horrible, horrible experience they were warning me about I never encountered. I have now shared their information with our entire neighborhood, and all of my friends and family for what could have been such a horrible experience they actually made it manageable.
