1 out of 5 stars (for office staff -- 5 stars for Dr. Schultzel)…read more I had gallbladder surgery with Dr. Schultzel in September 2025. He was excellent -- kind, thorough, and professional. Unfortunately, my post-surgery experience has been made extremely stressful due to the office staff and management. When my EDD paperwork was first submitted, the staff only gave me two weeks off work, even though the doctor clearly stated I needed six weeks due to lifting restrictions. After multiple calls, I finally spoke with Julie, who was rude, argumentative, and dismissive. She even said sarcastically, "Fine, I'll give you six weeks off," which is completely unprofessional. I later spoke with Emily, the office manager, who apologized, but Julie's poor attitude continued. Despite Emily's assurance that she would personally handle any future issues, she never returned my follow-up calls. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Some emails were answered, but usually with short, unhelpful replies, and many others went unanswered altogether. Each visit I've made to the office has been met with cold or dismissive attitudes. Even when my doctor extended my recovery another two weeks, Emily questioned it inappropriately in front of other staff. I've had to show up in person multiple times just to get updates, only to be brushed off again. The doctor and PAs are wonderful, but the back office is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. I've felt ignored and unsupported -- especially regarding time-sensitive EDD paperwork that directly impacts my income. It's unfortunate because Dr. Schultzel deserves better representation from his staff. Patients shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic communication and follow-up care. Edit: I split the difference and gave 3 stars. I have no issue with Dr Schultzel. It's sad I had to place a review to actually have someone try to call me or respond to the issues at hand.

Saw a couple of people who walked me through the procedure--and they seemed nice enough. They did call in my prescription, which I picked up same day. But when it came to week of the actual colonoscopy (early Jan 2024), I was sick and had to reschedule. I called 4, 3, 2 and 1 day before the procedure, left vms everytime, and no one ever called back to reschedule. I attempted to go to every option in their vm menu--but no one ever called back. Several options don't ever even get you to a vm. Weirdest vm system I've ever been through. I at least expected to get someone to pick up on the "press 7 if you want to make a payment"--but alas, it just loops back to the top menu. 2 weeks later still trying to reach someone to reschedule and still not getting anyone to pick up or respond to my multiple vms. Additionally, their vm message references the option to go to their website and schedule appointments--but their website has been totally down for weeks (it's just a Microsoft services welcome message). I don't know if it was ever up. I give up...

If I could give zero stars, I would -- and I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to read…read moreevery word before trusting them with your health or your life. I am a 38-year-old with a strong family history of colon cancer, which means early and consistent screening is not optional -- it's life-or-death. After six exhausting months of referrals, cardiac clearance, scheduling hoops, and prep anxiety, I finally underwent a colonoscopy here under the care of Dr. Adebambo Ojuri. What followed was one of the most disturbing and negligent medical experiences I have ever had. After the procedure, I was told I would receive a call with my pathology results. Instead, I was left in silence for over a month and a half. No call. No email. No portal update. Nothing. I left five messages, including messages specifically for the office manager Brooke, who was never available and never returned a single call. I physically came into the office three separate times, asking for answers and clarity -- and was ignored every step of the way. I only obtained my pathology report because I walked in and demanded it in person. Had I not advocated tirelessly for myself, I am convinced my results would still be unreviewed. For a facility performing cancer-screening procedures, this type of abandonment isn't just careless -- it is dangerously unacceptable. Equally alarming: Dr. Adebambo Ojuri never once introduced himself to me before anesthesia. I was never spoken to, never reassured, and never even visually confirmed who was performing the procedure. Being put under anesthesia without ever seeing or hearing from the physician is not just unprofessional -- it is deeply unsettling and raises serious ethical and procedural concerns. To make matters even worse, my discharge paperwork advised a 10-year follow-up, despite my strong family history of colon cancer and my young age. For someone at elevated risk, a blanket 10-year recommendation is not only medically inappropriate -- it is irresponsible and dangerous. This kind of guidance could genuinely lead to delayed diagnosis in high-risk patients. At minimum, it displays a lack of attention, care, and understanding of patient history. With my family history, this experience left me terrified, dismissed, and completely unsupported. The casual negligence here is chilling. Patients are not inconveniences -- we are human beings whose lives depend on timely communication, responsible follow-up, and basic standards of care. To the administration: your lack of communication and patient follow-through is alarming and dangerous. Your office manager, Brooke, being perpetually "unavailable" while life-altering pathology results sit untouched is not a clerical oversight -- it's a failure of duty. To anyone reading this: please do your research before trusting this facility or this doctor. No patient should ever feel abandoned or invisible in the middle of something as serious as cancer screening. I would never want another person to go through what I did.

The parking was plentiful and the grounds were well maintained. The lobby was impressive and very clean. We took the elevator to the Suite 108. The waiting room was spacious and clean. Check in was quick. The lady at the registration desk was very friendly and professional. She handed me some paperwork to fill out, which I returned. She told me to wait and would be called back shortly. It was about a 5 minute wait. Once I was in the prep/ recovery room I was greeted by Tabitha and Christina. They asked me a few questions and to see if I had any concerns. I did mention I had sleep apnea, which was annotated. I was told to inform the anesthesiologist. I changed into my gown and lay on the bed. Thankfully they gave me two heated blankets since it was freezing in the room. When it came to getting the needle for the IV, it was unpleasant. My veins are tiny and Tabitha apologized and said I would be bruised. She finally was able to set up in my left hand. Naturally, I fell asleep as I only got one hour of sleep! I was awakened by this pretty young lady, who introduced herself as the anesthesiologist. I told her about my sleep apnea and she assured me not to worry. I was wheeled into the surgery room by Jasmine, who was very nice and upbeat. I saw Dr. Chen and before I knew it I was in La-La land! I was awakened but I was so out of it I can't remember who it was. I returned to the recovery room, got dressed then given explicit discharge instructions by Lisa. She was very nice and professional. She held on to me as we made our way back to the waiting room where my devoted husband was waiting. By this time approximately 1100, the waiting room was full! It was an all around positive experience and I was very impressed by the high caliber of professionalism by the entire staff!
