I am pleased with the services I have received so far from SDC. It was nice to see exactly what their charges are. I am looking forward to going into the showroom next week to look at their products.

Overall, I had a bad experience with this company, early phase of the project they were very nice,…read morethey came up with reasonable estimates, for both refacing and replacing cabinets, however the actual numbers are different please BE AWARE, I went with new cabinets and countertop, for the countertop it was 76% over the estimated price, and they added bogus charges for alleged electrical work without my approval. The work was okay, the cabinets were incorrectly measured, the length of the cabinet to appropriate location to my vent was incorrectly measured, so they made a big stink about it's a standard cabinet, however, they corrected the mistake by relocating the vent to adjust with the new cabinet, the worker that made the adjustment was very rude, he walked out of my house yelling and screaming, when I asked him if he can install the kitchen hood, which was agreed that they would install all the items they appliances they removed for the new cabinet. The granite countertop edge was delivered unfinished edge, so it was scratching the new cabinet door, they did finally replace the door, and had someone to manually polish the corner countertop, but you can still see a variance between the original polished edge that was delivered and the manually polished area. I asked them to address this problem, but they pretty much ignored my emails and sent me a final notice payment and threatening to take legal actions if I didn't pay. Anyway I made the final payments for items I agreed, I will probably have to go through a legal process to correct the bogus electrical work they claim they did which we are in disagreement. Someone had already commented that they are nice until something goes wrong in a previous review, my experience was the same.

I originally thought very highly of EF Winslow in Yarmouth…read more They had installed a new toilet earlier this year and all went great. I then bought a dishwasher and needed it installed. I was told an hourly rate over the phone which I was ok with. The tech was fine and did his job but the install took less than 1 hour tops. No bill was sent to me and the only way I knew of the overcharge was when my cc was charged 2.5 months later. I was told of the charges butno paper sent and had to ask for a delayed bill via email? Turns out, I was charged 2x the amount of labor time by ef winslow. I believe the tech sat out front in my complex and and charged me for 1 hour of labor- 139 per 1/2 hour so an extra $278 of erroneous labor. I spoke to Arnold and although I thought he was helpful he would only issue a store credit for 1 1/2 time slot and I was told they don't issue store credits back to customers on ccs. Only store credits for future work scheduled so you don't get your $ back. This means that in order to get my $ back I will need to work with these folks again....not appropriate. If you have a credit card machine and you charge people you can credit them. Im.not recommending EF Winslow due to their poor billing practices, lack of staying on budget and then not correctly rectifying the billing issue. They probably have lost a client they had after their first work with me. Don't do any work without them providing a written estimate or buyer be aware they will overcharge you.

We were quite impressed by her caring attitude, and we met Chip, the owner, during a followup visit. The quotation we requested was competitive with a previous quote for stock ready-made cabinets, but KC's were custom- built to fit exactly into our space. We couldn't be more pleased with the result! They were assembled and ready for delivery a month prior to our ability to receive them, as prep work was delayed due to circumstances beyond our or their control. Chip stored them without complaint, and delivered them immediately upon being given the green light. Installer Chris had them in place within a day or two, and the hardware (knobs and drawer pulls) attached a day later. Drawer dividers for cutlery and cookware were included at no extra cost. Countertops and sink installation followed shortly thereafter. All said and done, we are more than pleased and would gladly recommend Kitchen Creations to anyone looking to have a new kitchen installed.

We're in the market for a kitchen backsplash to finish our renovations. We got 5 samples of tile from Home Depot, most arrived chipped and broken. Not to be discouraged, we decided to nix the big box brand and shop local. My parents purchased their kitchen floor here years ago, and the service hasn't wavered a bit. Their showroom is extensive, and you're greeted upon arrival. Betty quickly honed in on what we were looking for, and took us straight to the section that could meet our needs. After showing her the granite we already have, she brought out several samples and a few that varied a bit from what we said we were looking for. Well, we brought a sample home, and the one we fell in love with was actually quite different than what we thought we were looking for! They have a huge array of products at different prices. Our selection just happened to be on the low end, at $11/sq. ft. Some other marble tiles we viewed were as much as $50/sq. ft. You definitely get what you pay for - $11 was a little more than we were looking at from Home Depot but the quality of the product and the service were so much higher at Cloutier, it's worth it!

Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. I am so glad I was able to do this renovation with Cape & Islands Kitchens!

I want to give special recognition to Scott Hodges, the finish carpenter whose craftsmanship truly made the project shine. Scott's work is impeccable--especially the crown molding, which adds a level of elegance and detail that completely transforms the space. His precision, artistry, and attention to detail are second to none. Every cut, joint, and finish was executed flawlessly. Beyond his technical skill, Scott was a pleasure to work with: professional, respectful, and clearly passionate about his craft. If I could give Scott more than five stars, I absolutely would. His work exceeded all expectations and brought the entire project to life. If you're planning a renovation, do yourself a favor and ask for Scott Hodges. You'll be glad you did.
