The Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached every week and the sermons are engaging and really applicable to my life. The worship is contemporary and very well done. They encourage community through small groups which helps you feel loved and known even in a larger church. I've seen people in my small group literal posture change. They went from the looking like they carry the weight of the world to freedom in Christ. God used this church to draw me closer to Him and as a single, late-20s, professional, I don't feel like the only one in my same walk of life. I had a hard time finding a church before that had young people in it and not just families and older couples. I've since moved to Grand Rapids and still drive 40 mins twice a week for church and small group because that's where I'm growing. The results speak for themselves. I truly believe that they wouldn't have grown so significantly in the last 8 years, planted and trained so many other churches in the area, or see so many lives transformed by the power of the Gospel if the Lord was not moving here. Is this place perfect? Absolutely not. It's still full of broken sinners with a lot of crap in their lives. They are obsessed with free T-shirt's. But if you are looking for a church where you can get help, worship, and be known, I'd recommend giving it a try.

We thought that we would try a few different churches, but we liked the "Bridge" service at Beechwood so much that we never went to any other locations. There are three services each Sunday, a formal service followed by the Bridge service which has a great band and a lighter feel and open atmosphere. They have also started an early service at 9am called Upper Room" because it is done in a loft area. This is a good sized church with 500+ members. There are activities and groups of all sorts that you can get involved in. Child day care during service so that you can enjoy without distractions. The staff is the best, led by Pastor Jim Lankheet. He has a way to bring the message to me every week. Sometimes I wish he wasn't talking to me or at least if feels that way! I also think that getting GOD back into my life was good for me, my marriage and my boys.

ENERGETIC! but not overwhelming. It has that small church vibe with two services at 9AM and 11AM…read more People who go to church regularly and even those who do not would feel comfortable. The music is good, not real long but be ready for some serious teaching. The teaching is conversational and not preachy and right out of the Bible. There is something for children in both services. Kids are everywhere! Some are even in the service.

They're about living in and living out the grace displayed through the Gospel, and holding to the truth of the Gospel...being the "good news" of Jesus Christ. The first time my husband and I went to Northbridge we saw a couple people who obviously struggled to fit in socially...yet they were out there...one seemed to be pleasantly waiting and enjoying the atmosphere, the other smiling and talking with people. On our way out, we discussed the thought that if this church didn't try to 'hide' these people, then we just might fit in ourselves! It's close to 10 years later, and while no church is perfect, we definitely found "home". --My husband adds that he really likes that "without ignoring the reality of sin, the pastor preaches/teaches the importance of the grace Christ extends to us...and extending that grace to others."
