According to Cigna, attempting to collect a balance the insurer says the patient does not owe is not allowed, but he insisted on billing me anyway. He also has no billing department and told me he handles all billing himself, which I know leads to errors. He has other reviews where people claim fraud. Instead of correcting his errors, he became defensive and hostile with me. My visit was in 2023, but because he made a mistake in billing, he tried to fix it two years later. Cigna confirmed this was a billing issue on his end, not mine, and that I owe nothing. Yet, he still sends me a bill from a visit 2 years ago with threats of collections. Despite that, he argued, called names, and responded in ways I have never experienced from a medical professional. The communication was extremely unprofessional. Based on my experience, I have reported him to the appropriate agencies. I would strongly advise others to use caution when choosing this provider. The billing practices, communication, and attitude were all major red flags for me.

I filled out my life story turned it into the desk and was called to the back. Took my blood pressure asked med what was going on and I told them I tested positive. for Covid. The PA saw me and was no nonsense. Do you want the pills they offer? Yes I do. Sign here sign here and a prescription was in my hand. Couple of things that was interesting. They did not confirm my home test. They also did not test me for anything else. But I am feeling better with the second day of meds, so I am happy.

I brought my daughter for an x-ray because she hurt her ankle the day before and was still limping. We get checked in and there's one person ahead of us. Then one of the receptionists tells me there's an issue with my insurance. I know we're insured, so I call them to find out what's going on. Another family has come in after us and is now waiting. While I'm on hold with insurance, I let the front staff know that if I can't figure out the issue, I'll self-pay and I ask if we're still in line. They say, yes. I find out there's an issue on my employer side that needs to be fixed, but there's nothing I can do now. While I'm finishing up, they take the family that came in after us. I ask them what's going on. They say they need to fix something on the computer before they take us back. I'm asking them to please take my daughter back and not make us wait after another patient who came in after us. They refused. I probably should have just swallowed it and stayed, but I simply couldn't believe that they would not take my daughter to be seen before the other family because of something they needed to change on the computer. One thing has nothing to do with the other. The lack of compassion when there's an 8 year old sitting there patiently, waiting to be seen and the mom is practically begging made it so I will never go to a Collier Urgent Care again. The provider may have been excellent and caring and lovely. I'll never know because we left. I think we should expect better of those in the medical field. I just wanted a little humanity, not - we need to change something in the computer before we can see your daughter. Awful.
