[[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a terrible experience with the front staff and the lack of compassion that we were shown prompts me to write this review.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I brought my daughter for an x-ray because she hurt her ankle the day before and was still limping. We get checked in and there's one person ahead of us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then one of the receptionists tells me there's an issue with my insurance. I know we're insured, so I call them to find out what's going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Another family has come in after us and is now waiting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I'm on hold with insurance, I let the front staff know that if I can't figure out the issue, I'll self-pay and I ask if we're still in line. They say, yes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I find out there's an issue on my employer side that needs to be fixed, but there's nothing I can do now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I'm finishing up, they take the family that came in after us. I ask them what's going on. They say they need to fix something on the computer before they take us back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm asking them to please take my daughter back and not make us wait after another patient who came in after us. They refused. I probably should have just swallowed it and stayed, but I simply couldn't believe that they would not take my daughter to be seen before the other family because of something they needed to change on the computer. One thing has nothing to do with the other. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lack of compassion when there's an 8 year old sitting there patiently, waiting to be seen and the mom is practically begging made it so I will never go to a Collier Urgent Care again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The provider may have been excellent and caring and lovely. I'll never know because we left. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think we should expect better of those in the medical field. I have been to this location twice and both times had excellent service and experience. They are highly professional and explain you diagnose. Unfair billing practices. They bill more than the insurance company contract. They will say that they will refund once the insurance company pays them. Not true. They will keep your money. read more

Very well-maintained facility. I wasn't feeling good for less than a day. It was a different feeling then I have had before. I took the Covid test and tested positive. I was seen super-fast. I filled out my life story turned it into the desk and was called to the back. Took my blood pressure asked med what was going on and I told them I tested positive. for Covid. The PA saw me and was no nonsense. Do you want the pills they offer? Yes I do. Sign here sign here and a prescription was in my hand. Couple of things that was interesting. They did not confirm my home test. They also did not test me for anything else. But I am feeling better with the second day of meds, so I am happy. read more

My daughter studies at a university near this clinic and had been feeling unwell for about 8 days, experiencing headaches, cough, nausea, and fever. I told her to find an urgent care clinic nearby to get checked. When she arrived and explained all her symptoms, the first thing they told her was, "We can only treat one issue, so pick one." She said the cough, and they told her she would have to return the next day to address the other symptoms. If you go to a clinic with respiratory symptoms like hers, you would expect them to at least check your temperature and blood pressure, but they didn't do any of that. Instead, they gave her a urine test. Please do not go to this clinic--they have no idea what they're doing. read more

I previously posted a review on Facebook and took it down because I was worried about retaliation from this practice. I'm now far, far away from SW FL, and I feel like it's important to make my experience known, particularly because LGBT discrimination is a very real thing and it's important that this population knows where they will not be welcomed. For those who are unfamiliar, PreP is a medication used for HIV prevention for those who may be at high risk, eg the LGBT community. The regimen is very straightforward, and it requires the patient to get a full STI/STD panel every 3 months. I called Collier Urgent Care before coming to ensure they would be able to do the full STI/STD panel. My call was transferred to someone who said she was an RN. I described in detail which tests would need to be performed, as well as the method of collection for each specimen. She definitively answered that Collier UC would be able to do all the tests. I showed up and told them why I was there. I was taken into the back pretty quickly, but the place is pretty big, so that just meant waiting in an exam room instead of their waiting room. A nurse/PA came in and I told them again why I was there. At some point the white coat came in and was condescending bordering on insulting. I asked him about the tests, he said they could do them, then left. The RN/PA came back. I told her that one of the tests required a swab, and that I had called ahead of time to ensure that this swab could be done. She left in a huff and a puff, and after a somewhat long wait, came back and said "I don't know who you talked to on the phone, but the doctor doesn't feel comfortable doing that test." I explained to her that the full panel needed to be done all at once to ensure BCBS would pay for it and we'd be covering all our angles health wise. I also asked if I could self swab, as I've done for these tests at literally every single medical facility I've been to. I was told no. I essentially got a "too bad, so sad." At no point did the white coat (who felt "uncomfortable") come back into the room to give any kind of explanation. When I posted my FB review, one of the owners (same wonderful white coat who's posting all the snotty responses here) responded with essentially "...we hope you find somewhere else for your medical care." Then they proceeded to bill BCBS for the "visit", despite their misrepresentation made over the phone. At this office, there were LOTS of signs everywhere (exam room, hallways, etc.) advertising that any scripts provided can be filled by the UC. I've never seen this at any other medical practice, ever. Florida has a huge pill problem, and this practice is only exacerbating the issue. read more

Since the last unfortunate visit, all problems have been resolved. There have been many misunderstandings and we are very pleased that they do care about us and making sure things are done right. After much communication, we would return when and if we have to. This location is close by and we were seen right away. Also, they have proved that we are not just a number but people whom they want to serve with dignity and trust. Although we, of course, hope not to have to return, being we would be ill, it is good to know we can rely on their presence in our community if the need arises. read more

I come from NYC it is the first time in my life I was asked to pay before being seen. No one wore a mask and I was told didn't have to wear one. I went in for a sore throat doctor check my throat from 2 feet away. Never felt my glands or throat. Was given prescription for antibiotics. Had a covid and flu test. My husband went to this urgent care for an evaluation and was rudely greeted by Elizabeth (the front desk receptionist). We are both licensed in healthcare and understand the difficulties of all roles in the environment. Nonetheless, her unwarranted degrading, condescending and unprofessional attitude made him and I refuse to stay. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if this is the face of this urgent care. read more

Didn't share lab results with me after multiple attempts calling over the phone. They just explained what I had should have resolved the issue. I had called because I was still in pain and it wasn't appropriate dosage or length. They continued to insist another visit while still not sharing any lab results with me. All they want is money money money. I do not recommend. I'm still not convinced my culture was even sent to the lab. read more

I have brought every family member to Collier Urgent Care over the past 8 years. It is always difficult to be seen by our primary care physician or pediatrician in season. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Service is excellent. They have X-ray available too! Pretty sure all 3 of my children have had a limb X-ray at the Urgent Care. I am grateful we have this walk in clinic so close to my home. read more

I have been coming to this location with my children and father for almost 2 decades. Today the young girls up front thought it would be cute and funny to laugh at a patient after their question (mine) when needing an alternative as I just had surgery on my leg. This is extremely unprofessional and I would never laugh at a parent of one of my students. Their hours are remarkable and I don't want to take away from their exceptional doctors and nurses. However I will avoid coming back here at all costs after this extremely unprofessional and rude experience. read more

On a recent visit to Naples, Florida, my husband suffered a severe laceration to his finger..after contacting our insurance we went to the Collier Urgent care on Immokale...upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff..our insurance company had already contacted the clinic and my husband's name was in the system..within 5 minutes or less, a lovely nurse came out...checked my husband's injury..redressed it..we waited not more than 10 minutes to be called in by another nurse..vitals were checked..then the amazing Dr. West came in..took a look....8 stitches later (my husband hardly felt any discomfort from the needle for the freezing)..He was so gentle and conversed with us the whole time to get my husband's mind off what was going on..an xray revealed a finger fracture....on our next visit Dr. Taran checked the injury and advised us on care..he was equally amazing and as a precaution did a culture to make sure there was no infection...we had 5 follow up visits, including the last visit to remove the stitches..each and every visit we were greeted with the utmost of caring and respect by the front desk..we wish we could remember each and every PA, nurse and staff by name tht we interacted with..that were all wonderful..thank you Shandyl & Jerry Wiseberg read more

We are in town for soccer tournaments and searched for the closest urgent care. They were professional and efficient, and we were in and out in an hour with the needed tests and diagnosis from Dr Doan. We would definitely visit again if needed and highly recommend. read more

Came in with a family member who was having symptoms such as headache, dizziness, shoulder pain and tightness, and shortness of breath. Literally the only thing they did was check his blood pressure. Did not do anything else. Asked some general questions and said "if you want to get a work up done you can just go to the ER" and sent us out. Charged $260. That is an insane amount of money for no help whatsoever. read more

I do not have insurance since I'm 29, part time at work and full time in school. Upon paying $503 for HIV and STI testing, I received my results two days later. I was given an envelope with the results. One week later, I returned to speak with a doctor about my results. The lady at the front desk attempted to charge me for an office visit. When I refused she went back and got the doctor who came and addressed me in the lobby in front of the two women at the desk. I asked about my results and he gave me some snark, vague and meaningless comment about going to a health department because it's free. I guess it's because I'm gay, black and uninsured that I was treated with disgust. read more

I was in today for the first time. Every staff member was friendly. I only waited for a very few minutes. Once in the room, someone came to do an EKG just based on my symptoms. Dr Kim came in quickly, she went over the EKG then ordered a chest X-ray., which was also done quickly. Afterwards, Dr. Kim came back in to go over everything, write prescriptions and get me out. I couldn't really have had a better experience. Then, we were back in the afternoon for an injury my son had. He received the same treatment. We both rate 5 stars. read more

I was in a facility in Naples earlier this year. Unfamiliar with the area, I stumbled into this Urgent Care. What a stroke of luck! The entire staff from reception to medical assistants to the doctors were all superb. Extremely courteous , friendly and helpful! I went in with an embarassing situation and not one single person made me feel like I should have anything to be embarrassed about! That is the mark of a GREAT medical office. Pricey... IDK mediocre, middle of the road kinda facility. I possible, attempt to get into your PCP instead. $260.00 for service provided as a cash patient is a bit much.
