From my very first interaction with the staff, by phone, I felt truly cared for. Zoey was incredibly proactive--not only helping get us scheduled, but also taking care of every detail, even those that needed to be handled at another facility. It genuinely felt like she cared about us. Once we arrived, everyone was absolutely kind and professional--from the front desk, to the nurse, to the physician. It was clear that the team works in harmony, which made the entire experience even more reassuring. Pam connected with my child in such a natural and comforting way, and Dr. MacVenn made everything smooth and pleasant. She created an environment where my little one felt comfortable enough to share their own medical history. I brought my daughter for an x-ray because she hurt her ankle the day before and was still limping. We get checked in and there's one person ahead of us. Then one of the receptionists tells me there's an issue with my insurance. I know we're insured, so I call them to find out what's going on. Another family has come in after us and is now waiting. While I'm on hold with insurance, I let the front staff know that if I can't figure out the issue, I'll self-pay and I ask if we're still in line. They say, yes. I find out there's an issue on my employer side that needs to be fixed, but there's nothing I can do now. While I'm finishing up, they take the family that came in after us. I ask them what's going on. They say they need to fix something on the computer before they take us back. I'm asking them to please take my daughter back and not make us wait after another patient who came in after us. They refused. I probably should have just swallowed it and stayed, but I simply couldn't believe that they would not take my daughter to be seen before the other family because of something they needed to change on the computer. One thing has nothing to do with the other. The lack of compassion when there's an 8 year old sitting there patiently, waiting to be seen and the mom is practically begging made it so I will never go to a Collier Urgent Care again. The provider may have been excellent and caring and lovely. I'll never know because we left. I think we should expect better of those in the medical field. I just wanted a little humanity, not - we need to change something in the computer before we can see your daughter. Awful.

They billed Medicare for far more time / cost than I experienced. During the first visit I was only in the building for 15 minutes as I was the first patient of the day. They billed Medicare for an exam which lasted more than 45 min. This is Fraud and it costs us all more money. Medicare paid them above the Medicare allowable on the CMS Physician Fee Schedule. They want me to pay excessive fees beyond reason - They are cheating Medicare and us all.
