There are so many decisions to be made, more than anyone would ever realize before starting. I interviewed several contractors. Some of them were unresponsive, some of them showed bad reno photos, some quoted prices that were outrageous, and some posted fake reviews. From the very beginning, Luigi was always available to answer any questions. He provided a detailed work plan and quickly responded to any of the multiple changes I made during the planning. He was never pushy, was always straightforward and honest, and a pleasure to work with. During the process, he kept me up-to-date on everything that was going on and what was next to do. After the reno was over and I needed it some slight adjustments, Luigi was just as easy to reach and had his team come back more than once for slight corrections. Luigi is who you need as your project manager! I also cannot say enough about Jose and his team of guys. They did excellent work and completed the project in the time they quoted. Jose is a master at what he does from installing the cabinets, the trim, and the appliances to fit perfectly. He also did beautiful job installing the tile backsplash and it looks better than I even imagined. I absolutely love my kitchen and so does everyone else who sees it . The team at Strong Granite & Cabinets provided outstanding work, with outstanding materials, were total professionals throughout our interaction, delivered a clean kitchen tear-out and rebuild, in a timely manner and for a fantastic price! Alex is a professional craftsman. Luigi is the consummate sales person/project manager. From our first trip to their showroom, until the project was complete was a matter of a few weeks. Actual construction lasted from one Monday to the next, although substantially complete by the first Friday with only the installation of the Quartz backsplash coming that second Monday. If you're thinking at all about redoing your kitchen, this team was GREAT and we have a magnificent kitchen! My wife, Lynne, has this to add: I absolutely love my new kitchen and have been waiting for 30 years for this to happen. Wow.. What a horrible experience. The owner went over what I am looking to do in my home and he…read moretook notes. He then tells me he will get back to me by end of day. No word from him. I stop in 3 days later, he then says "oh yeah, this is what you want," pointing to the notes he took 3 days prior. He then says ill make a call and get back to you in a few hours. No response at all. I stop in 2 days later and he tells me hes waiting to hear back. I will definitely call you in 2 hours or so. Over the course of the next week i stop there 3 times, but the store is closed without explanation. I finally stop in when they are open and the owner tells me he is with "important clients" and he will call me in a few hours. No call. When I stopped into his store today; he verbally attacked me because I let him know about the 4x prior he said he would call within hours, but i never heard from him over the course of several weeks. "Ive been doing this for 35 years, i don't owe you a thing," is what he shouted at me. I felt threatened and realized that this guy is not only unprofessional, but unreliable, unpredictable and by far the worst salesman i have ever attempted to work with in my life. And yes, i did go in there today, on the day he verbally attacked me to discuss a possible purchase. I am happy he showed what horrible owner he was so that I did not give him my business. Trust me, you are better elsewhere for all kitchen and remodeling needs.

Within about five minutes we narrowed down our choices and took his advice to wait until everything was installed and then select the tile. He provided us with samples to place around the kitchen to view in different light settings and was completely no pressure. We heeded is advice, looked at the two tiles we were considering and purchased our tiles and they came in on the day promised. The price was extremely reasonable and the staff even helped with figuring out how we wanted to create the backsplash behind our gourmet range. Everything came out perfectly! I would recommend Ideal Tile in Freehold and I'm thrilled we had such a great experience.
