United Roofing has been a godsend, blessing, all that, the bomb, and more. One of my goals for 2022 was to get a new roof. I got several quotes from some of the top roofing companies in the area and United Roofing beat the competition. Not only did they beat competitor's pricing, I ended up getting so much more for my money than what any of the competitors offered. I was also sold on the type of nails they use surprisingly. Lol As a single mom, I was initially feeling anxiety and hesitant in moving forward since the work is such a huge investment. The owner was respectful, actively listened, didn't interrupt, was completely understanding, & presented the pros and cons. Not once was I criticized or pressured into making a decision like other companies used as their sales tactics. Instead, I was presented with all of the data, my multitude of questions were answered, and I was empowered to make a relational sound decision. I easily could have walked away prior to signing the contract. I ended up with a new roof, Board and Batten siding, soffits(didn't know what they were until now), trim, gutters, & new porch rails. Also, I was able to get rid of the old 1960's side vents and replaced with hidden vents. Who would have thought little things would make such a huge difference! No regrets and I am so happy with this investment! The entire process was handled professionally. United Roofing went above and beyond to make things not only right, but the way I wanted them to be as well as provide their honest opinion. Not once did the company over promise and under deliver. I felt like I was always in the know during every step of the process. United Roofing has the best team and the entire project was like a well orchestrated symphony. Tim's company replaced the roof on our house, shed as well as replaced some flashing around the shed to help keep the squirrels out:). The guys were very timely and cleaned up all the nails and debris really well. They also put new siding on the front of our house and did an excellent job! We have actually had people stop and compliment us about how nice the house looks with the new siding. I would definitely recommend them 100%. read more

They did my roof. Derek the salesman had a really slick sales pitch and sounded knowledgeable and sincere. That turned out not to be the case. Derek described the product I was getting as meeting the platinum warranty from Owens Corning. It does not. He told me that the paperwork would reflect that when I received it. It might, I haven't received my receipt yet. This despite numerous texts to Tim. Derek also told me when I asked that these shingles were impact resistant. They are not. Derek failed to tell me that my roof would not look as good as my neighbors, even though the shingles are supposed to be a higher quality. It took prodding by me to get scheduled. I was told two weeks at three I had to call repeatedly. I specifically asked if Dorian would push me down the waiting list. I was told by Derek that that would not happen. When I finally talked to Tim he said that I had been pushed. When I was finally scheduled, the crew didn't show up. Derek reassured me that this was a fluke thing, meanwhile Tim made up stories about why his crew wasn't there. Finally the crew arrived. The cleanup was ok. Certainly not as good as Derek said it would be. We noticed some problems, which Tim insisted weren't problems. Finally he corrected a couple of them. We noticed torn screens, which Tim agreed to pick up. After a couple of weeks and some prompts he returned them. He promised to look at my sunscreen which was also torn by his people. He started to try to get out of it, but agreed that he would look. He also said he would bring a receipt. After numerous texts still neither of things have happened. And Tim has gone radio silent. The company had no problem taking my money. I'll give them that. EDIT: the day after I originally wrote this ( as well as emailed a cut and paste to the BBB ) they sent me my receipt. Additionally they informed me that they would be having their legal team investigate if I violated the non defamation clause they have in the contract. The truth is not defamation. Neither is opinion. I think if I owned a business I would have an anti defamation clause. It would certainly help prevent people from bringing legitimate complaints to the public forum and control the information that people have to make a decision. read more

United Roofing did install my roof and it is great. They will charge 1/2 upfront and then you wait for them to schedule you. just over 2 weeks. One day to complete. Explained the process as I watched and asked on repairs, cover and shingles. Have not seen final invoice for my records one week after job done. Out of whole experience, the communications could be better along with administrative follow up. A whole package (invoice and warranty) at the end would make it perfect. Had a positive experience with United Roofing who replaced the roof at my rental property. I live in CA so I have to do research and carefully interview companies before hiring them to do work as I manage my rental property on my own and living in CA, I have to be able to trust the people that I hire. I worked directly with Tim who was very informative and confident on his product. He returned my calls promptly and provided constant update on the status of my roof shingles which had to be specially ordered. From the time I initially spoke to Tim to the time my roof was complete, the time span was approximately 3 weeks. We had a good experience with United Roofing. They arrived bright and early on a Wednesday morning (around 6:30) and by the time I came home from work that day, the roof on both the house and the garage were done. Their crew did great work and we were very pleased with the results. My only issue was that as they were dismantling the old roof and throwing the old roofing materials on the ground a lot of our plants were somewhat damaged in the process. Maybe it's an unavoidable mishap when you're getting a new roof, but some of my plants didn't bounce back. Despite the mishap with the plants, I would recommend United Roofing to my friends and family and I would use them again. read more

We had awful roof and vinyl siding damage with hurricane Matthew and I was very worried about the work being done in a timely manner. I called United Roofing and had an estimate within 2 days!! Ron and Tim were very, very nice and helpful; offering a lot of advice. Obviously, they were very behind, BUT the roof crew was here 3 weeks later (with the amount of damage in our area; that was fantastic!) The roof is GORGEOUS! The crew did a great job; excellent workmanship and very, very nice. The siding crew came this week; again, EXCELLENT work. Did more than what was expected in certain areas without being asked and the house really looks great. I had follow-up with both supervisors and would highly recommend them to anybody!! read more

Good company. Owner came out and fixed issues right away. The roofers themselves were a bit reckless. Came home and had a broken light I had just bought and several ripped screens. Roof looked great at completion. Clean up was horrible. They will leave several nails in driveway as well as plastic around the yard. Michael was a great help and request him if you go with this company. I suggest shopping around before you do though. read more

United Roofing personnel arrive bright and early @ 6:30 in the morning, began work and didn't stop until that job was completed ( one house, a workshop and two storage buildings) at about 8 PM. Amazing! The work was done to perfection, and the foreman and the owner, Tim, were constantly present to ensure everything was going smoothly, and to agreed upon essentials. The shingles look beautiful and the replacement skylight covers were of a quality several levels better than those being replaced. All in all, this company is a high quality organization and a sincere pleasure doing business with. I contacted United Roofing because I was told my attic had no venting, the prompt response was great, came out gave us a reasonable quote and we gave our 1/2 deposit, the employee and I discussed a time frame and we were good to go. The day before the work was to be done (2 1/2 weeks later) I contacted them to confirm that the deadline was the following day and verify work completion, and unfortunately was told there was an error in communication and they would be working while we had company. We discussed alternative dates because that was not what I wanted, he apologized and we rescheduled. I was 100% fine with that. Everyone makes mistakes and it truly was no big deal. After rescheduling and me being the one to initiate communication we left out of town and were to return to the venting job completed. Unfortunately the job is still not done and again I had to call to ask what was going on. Both times I was told "we're going to do it tomorrow". While I understand there are situations beyond your control it is not ok to not contact your customer informing them of delays. I requested to be refunded for my deposit and a call back from the owner to explain his lack of customer service and customer contact... 7 days later I'm still waiting for the phone call. While their quotes are reasonable, the lack of customer contact, lack of attention to details when making an appointment (even if weather was a factor) lack of contacting the customer to explain such delays is unacceptable. Would not ever go with this company. read more
