Update! We decided to give them another try and were very satisfied. Got the 19.99 special with a two topping pizza and 10 chicken wings. The pizza was very fresh and delicious. Definitely more flavor this time instead of the bland chicken Alfredo pizza from the time before. We also really enjoy the chicken wings. Honey BBQ. Order was wrong, wait was long. Brought my daughters food 10 minutes later than the rest of meal and it was wrong. I was told by Erica, the assistant manager she would credit my daughter's meal for next time but not refund it, even though we refused to take. At this point my daughter ate my meal. Erica refused to refund anything. I had to demand a manager, which was refused. Eventually manager came and said he would refund 5.00 for the wrong, uneaten food. Service shouldn't be so bad that it's excused to this level and then escalated this far. Overall terrible customer service, company will not last on mediocre pizza alone. read more

I have lived in Tooele for 3 years and have abused myself with the chain pizza places in our town. Some places are okay, but it's really just not a pizzeria. After getting pedicures, my wife said, " Let's give this place a shot". Because we didn't want to drive to Salt Lake for The Pie. Upon entering, this place feels like a pizzeria, it smells like a pizzeria and reminds me a lot of Rusted Sun or The Pie. It's clean!! Really clean, which is awesome in my book. The young lady who took our order was very nice ( by the way she doubles as the delivery driver), they hand toss your dough in front of you and they do it very well. This fact won my wife over right away........pebble ice!!! My wife loves her pebble ice and that's a sure bet alone that we'll be back. But let's talk about the pizza. It's the best in the county in my opinion. Carefully prepared, no holes, properly cut instead of having guidelines. This pizza is made with love...and the flavor....it's delicious. Have you ever found a place and ordered something so good you want to try everything? That's what we're going to do. So pat yourselves on the back Hometown Pizza. I seem to remember the first time we ate here it wasn't so great. Then a week or so ago, we were near here and hungry. My teen went in and got a cheese pizza. Oh, my! The cheese was fresh, plentiful and tasty. I ordered a pizza right after that for my husband & teen, had a little more on it, and it was good, also. I'm cheap when it comes to pizza so the prizes were a little more than I care for. I know that is my own personal opinion & aren't more than other 'real' pizza restaurants. read more

We enjoyed eating here. The prices are comparable to other pizza places but the pizza is much better than I expected. We ordered the buffet for 8.99 each and 4.99 for our kids. The buffet did not have much variety to offer, but the quality of the pizza made up for it. The salad bar was nothing special. The ambiance here is nice, something of a rarety in tooele county. Great pizza but the wait was a little long. I attribute this to the place crawling with people. It's still pretty new so lots of people are flocking to it to see how good it will be. Our Hawaiian pizza was just the right temperature. The ham was nice quality. The pineapple was good, not soggy at all. The cheese was uniformly melted with a good amount of sauce. The crust was good too. The twist things with the garlic were ok. But I want more pizza as I write this. Some guys had a pepperoni at the table next to me and I wanted to steal it. My favorite local pizza. Great salad too. And the cinnamon things with the cream cheese frosting are amazing. read more

I come here twice a week for a salad bar to go. The kid tried to charge me for ranch dressing. 2 dollars. I asked him why ? When it comes for free? He gave me a dirty look shook is head and charged me the correct price. He then didn't hand me my to go container or did he had me any stuff to put my dressing in. He got mad I didn't tip him for a salad to go. I had to flag another employee to help me. The regular guy is really nice but this guy was rude. I may have another favorite pizza place now, their pizza is amazing and tastes like sourdough pizza you'd get from San Francisco. We ordered the buffet where you just get your own pizza slices, salad, and Pepsi-brand soda (as much as you want of each). The inside of the store looks really nice, there are tables around so you can stay and eat your food, and the staff is friendly. They don't have many vegetarian-friendly options, though; I had to wait a few minutes to get cheese pizza from the buffet, but the wait is worth it. The first time I ordered from hometown was when we were moving in to the area, and all of our moving helpers asked where it was from, and really enjoyed it. I found it a big greasy, but overall better than the chain options available. The second time we ordered, however, the pizza wasn't too great. They put on WAY too much cheese and sauce so that the dough was burnt on the bottom, but completely dough in the middle. Most of the pizza was inedible. That being said the flavor was great and the toppings were high quality, just cut back on the cheese a bit. The delivery time here is pretty slow at 45 min to an hour, though I get it cause they are a local business not a big chain, so I don't hold that against them, just know that if you're gonna order from here give it PLENTY of time. We also ordered the wings which had a really nice flavor, but they use the standard store bought type wings that are all bloated and fatty, rather than a nice quality chicken. I will order from here again, especially as I prefer to shop local rather than giving money to a big chain place. The service has always been great, and depending on the experience with the food in the future I am certainly willing to update my review. read more

Disappointing. Wait was a long time, they are way overstaffed. The manager actually attempted to argue with us on the wait telling us it was only 30 minutes. $21 for a large pizza that was just "ok". My advice to the owner would be to get a new manager with some customer service skills and let go of half the staff. The ratio of employee to customer was about 10-10. For being a new business in the area I'm afraid they won't be in business long without some real changes. read more

I'm a big fan of the all you can eat lunch buffet. They consistently have a good selection of pizzas available and they keep the pizzas coming out at a good pace. There's nothing worse than going to a buffet and having to wait and wait for more pizzas to be brought out. The pizzas they serve at the buffet are normal pizzas that people want, not weird undesirable pizzas with nasty topping combinations that no one will touch. read more
