Long story short, Pro Audio & Lighting worked hand in hand with the manufacture to cover my situation. For a small drop off fee that went towards the repairs, their professionalism was top shelf. The store manager Tom is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He knows what he's talking about and can always point you in the right direction. The showroom up front features all of the sound equipment and there's a lighting room in back to show off all of the awesome fixtures they have. I was very happy with a recent rental of a subwoofer and mixer. The cost was reasonable and they reviewed the item checklist with me when I brought it back. If you can get out to 14 and Dequindre, do it. It's worth the trip.

DLP is a quick and reliable music and repair shop. I needed my violin ready by the weekend so 4 days was too long of a wait. DLP is open late until 8:00 - 8:30 PM on weekdays. Just call the shop and tell the owner what you need to be done and he is accommodating. I was able to get my violin back the next day. The prices are reasonable. I would return here for violin supplies like strings, rosin, and polish.

Complained that I should get my deposit back and take amp home, they committed to take amp back to "bench". Returned 1 week later to find amp still on bench - i believe untouched. I seriously doubt they have any competence for electronic instrument repair. I took my unrepaired amp back and took the $65 deposit loss (since technically they put my amp on the bench). Beware.

The Hannan Center is a great place for seniors to check out. My friend told me about the art…read moregallery. Once I check the center out, I found out about the art classes they offer. For a small fee of $9, I got 15 weeks of lessons. For that price I signed up for 2 classes. The people that work there are kind and the people in the classes are nice and supportive also. I have learned a lot about collages and have been in 2 of the art exhibitions. A great place for seniors to get involved in different activities.
