Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. 10 people were in line in front of me! Two people bailed, so 8 people in front of me. It took 46 minutes for me to reach the one postal worker behind the counter! Not faulting the postal worker, who was working slowly but steadily. I've said this before visiting other post offices, it seems so many people mailing letters and packages have many questions and they sre challenged by the mailing process. Takes a lot for me to write a negative review but when I'm treated badly, and Insulted for absolutely no reason I believe that warrants zero stars not even one. I like this post office. I've been going here for over 13 years. My company drops off packages every day at this post office. I even know most of the employees by name. Truthfully, they don't lose too many packages, they're delayed but rarely lost. So when I had a missing package I was expecting the supervisor to react very differently. Prepaid packages can be dropped off in a set of bins at the end of the counter. All of the package were scanned except for one so a few days later I went into the post office, with paperwork showing that it was accepted at the location. I was asked to wait for a supervisor. I waited and waited and waited and 20 minutes later, someone came out and he was so rude and nasty. His first words were..What do you want? I explained the situation and he kept screaming at me "where's your proof...you didn't ship it ...you didn't drop it off it's not here.... I won't help you, come back Monday and talk to the manager" As I was walking out, a woman stopped me and said, I can't believe how he spoke to you. I never would've taken that from anyone! Will I continue to drop off packages here, unfortunately, yes. Does the supervisor care how he treats customers... No, he doesn't have to. Oh, and BTW the package showed up at the destination five days later. No need to be nasty or rude. read more

Not sure how to say this. It's a bit run down and the service is ok. It doesn't make me want to go to a post office anymore. I enjoy getting out and seeing people and having conversations. Not many people in the place and when I asked a question I felt like I was bothering the postal worker behind the counter. Now I don't expect anyone to jump up and down and greet me like I was someone special. But have some kind of respect for yourself and be a bit more enthusiastic and helpful. Told me I had to fill out the envelope and waited on the next customer. I filled out the envelope and when I went back to counter they asked me what is was and where it was going. I said it's in the envelope and with me finishing that sentence said tell me where it is going. So I did and they entered it into the computer and printed a label and stuck it on the package over the address I wrote. Weird but I guess that's how it goes. This PO destroyed my tax returns which were sent certified. Tracking indicated they never left the PO. I spoke to the manager several times. He wrote a letter to someone at the tax center and arranged to have a copy (I scanned my signed returns so had a copy) sent overnight, at no charge to me. Despite that letter, I paid daily interest because the original filing was never received and they ignored that I had a certified mailing date. There is something deeply malfunctioning at that PO. This year, letters left at what everyone at USPS and HOA claim is the official USPS postal box, all Christmas and holiday cards including a birthday card which sat there despite the flag being up for 3 weeks until after the holidays. I checked after no one got my cards. Not one USPS worker onsite opened the box all those weeks to get the mail from that box. I have a disabled brother who does not have a phone and a great niece, also disabled, who asked me to mail letters to them. Its important to me they receive my notes and cards. Recently, out going mail left in the designated spot was put back into my mailbox, despite stamped addresses to Washington state and Idaho. This PO offers excuses all the way up to management as to why not one USPS person can pick up outgoing mail. Avoid this PO. They do not want to help customers and interfere with mail getting to its destination. read more

The mail delivery has been awful. Lately we are not receiving our mail. I am missing items that I know have been mailed. I find other peoples mail with other addresses in my mail. Very sloppy. Something must be done to insure that the mail gets to the address on it. Terrible . read more

Tried to buy stamps by mail. Bad experience and post office can't assist with the process. Poor selection, poor delivery, unable to change or cancel the order. Terrible communication. The lady that worked behind the counter yelled at multiple people to "be ready" when you come up, but there were no clear instructions on what to do. They charge $3.50 just for tape. The clerk was horrible today. My elderly mom brought in 6 packages and the clerk said the limit is 5. She asked if he could please make the exception. He refused to and also wouldn't print out or email a receipt. She then asked for help with the kiosk instead and he said he can't help her. The lady behind her asked for help mailing a package and he refused to help her either. He deserves to be let go and replaced with someone who has manners and proper customer service. read more

Off the beaten path is a large building with weeds and a huge antenna tower, I felt like I was on the TV show set of The Walking Dead!! The exterior looks deserted and run down and one drive-thru mailbox that doesn't allow you to drop the mail off from your car, defeating the whole purpose of a drive-thru. Plenty of parking available, but can they hire someone to cut the weeds and make this place presentable? read more

This is a nice neighborhood post office. The people working there are friendly and helpful. It's not usually very busy. Around the Holidays you may have to wait in line with your packages, but the lines usually aren't very long and they move quickly. There's a parking lot with plenty of free parking. There are several post offices in Boca Raton. They open and close at different times. Some open at 8 am or 10 am and close at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30. I'm happy that my post office opens at 8 am and closes at 6:30 pm. The Saturday hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Sometimes I have to mail something at the last minute and those longer hours are very convenient. read more

This Post Office has a very friendly, efficient staff. I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to be waited on. The manager is very nice. The staff is quite helpful and kind. They do their jobs nicely and you are on your way in no time flat. The parking lot is adequately large. It's nice to be able to accomplish your business without a lot of effort. I brought my package for international shipping here after two inept employees at the UPS couldn't figure out how to print the label. USPS said my package was delivered at 5:54pm in or at my mailbox. Well I checked at 6pm and it wasn't found anywhere. It had a 6pm delivery time for 1-2 day expedited service. I kept checking and at 6:31pm I saw the USPS truck downstairs. I hurried and met with the mailperson who tokd me it was their last stop and that it was supposed to be delivered by 6pm. So in other words the USPS gets away with charging fees for things they do not do and lie about doing them. The package had papers that had to do from the US Government thatf if lost could have done damage to my identity. read more

Typical Post Office. Constantly not getting mail. The other day, I found one piece of mail lying in the street. Another time, they delivered a package with expensive jewelry that required signature by just stuffing it in the mailbox without getting signature. Someone - any one - could just taken the package. Other times they deliver packages to us that are for people with completely different addresses. Total incompetence. I reported it on-line and USPS says there's nothing we can do - sorry! Great post office as has the best hours and helpful staff! Open M-S and one of the few open to 5 pm on Saturday. Also, usually 4 staff processing mail and manager actively engaged on the floor. Also has self serve shipping kiosk. Good parking and easy to get into and out. Often a line but moves quick. (Great service and hours equals "busy"). This is my post office of choice due to hours and staff expertise. I have observed many times the manager helping customers with guidance and suggestions. A+ experience! read more

Would give them zero stars if possible. Their attitudes are terrible. Had an issue with them consistently delivering my mail to a house a block away. They have a priority mail drop box that's been out of order for over 6 months. When I raised concerns about the drop box being down for so long, they looked at me like I was stupid. Instead of just dropping packages in the box, I have to stand in line and waste my time. These clowns need to realize they are providing a service that customers are paying for. I can't even get them to answer their phone. It rings, rings, rings, then the line goes dead. They NEVER pick up the phone. How hard is it to answer the damn phone? Very convenient location to my office. All of the staff is very attentive and helpful; consistently there is a manager walking around asking people online if there's anything he or she can do to help in their shipping and mailing needs. There are plenty of supplies for sale. Most the time I'm in and out in under 10 minutes. Every now and then there's a line but it moves pretty quickly. I prefer this location over any Office Depot shipping department. read more

Via Ancho Post Office has lost three packages in a short span of time, (6 weeks). I leave notes in my mailbox asking about the issue. They say to call the Via Ancho Post Office, who ( by the looks of the other reviews), never answer the phone. My notes now go unacknowledged. The supervisor at the Via Ancho office never followed through on a lost mail form I filled out online. I'm sorry but this is the worst example of a post office I have ever been to! The employees here treat you rudely like they're doing you a big favor that they're waiting on you! They don't want to give out free supplies either so what is going on at this place? they need a big refresher course in treating people with human decency! The postal service from this post office is the worst ever. Deliveries are extremely late in the day (sometimes mail arrives after 6 or 7 PM), and oftentimes there is no mail at all which I know means that they have not delivered because we always get the beloved junk mail that goes straight into the trash. And if you ever need to call them - don't waste your time. It's easier to get through to Elvis than the post office at Via Ancho. Wish there was no star because that's what they deserve. Usually no issues here. Today we tried getting a refund for a lost package. Getting the runaround doesn't even explain our experience. Treated rudely by both people we dealt with, lied to twice about the insurance available and basically treated like it was our fault for them losing our package 3 weeks ago. I had an oversized parcel sent to a lady friend. It was obviously too big for the mailbox. The mail carrier could have left it at the front door but didn't. Instead left with the parcel on the truck and didn't leave a notice in the mailbox. I tracked the package and requested a redelivery the following day with instructions to be left at the door.
