This review if you can call it that is for the building only. I was in the area of Daytona Beach on their main road and found this building. In the heart of town just before crossing the bridge to go to the beach is this amazing historic building that is the main post office. Incredible architecture to show us how things were built to last. As noted in Dave's review on the national register of historic places. If in the area you should stop by. The pictures here are good but does not give justice to the structure.

This is a very cool old Post Office in Daytona Beach. It is a historic building that was built during the great depression. The building's architectural design is neat to look at all of the intricate details that you do not see on buildings today. Dav has a great historical list of information s that I never knew about it but adds to the charm.

The U.S. Post Office in Daytona Beach is a historic building that was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on June 30, 1988, the historical post office was constructed during the great depression by the Corps of Engineers. The building's Mediterranean Revival Architectural design was submitted by Harry M. Griffin in 1932. The front portico is faced with stone from the Florida Keys, the roof tiles came from Cuba and the building's style was inspired by a hotel in Havana.

One of the coolest old buildings I've ever been in. We recommended to them to give tours. Such a pretty place

Even if you have no packages to post, it's worth the visit just to see the building and the original architecture. It's a masterpiece!

They said they would hold our mail but they didn't and even sent expensive medicine back to Germany. When I went in to complain there were other neighbors there as well and I met a lot of nice ones who agreed this was the worst post office ever. Another time when I was out of town and having my mail held they also didn't hold it and sent it all back and we were always going to talk to the manager but she was never there. Her own employees didn't like her in rolled her eyes and said she's probably eating some more. There was a horrible woman there named Diane who would drop the F bomb even at old people and I even saw her one spit on somebody. When I went to complain about Diane somebody else there said she was no longer with us. I don't know if she died or she just wasn't working there but neither would surprise me. I only saw the manager once at the very beginning and you won't miss or if you know what I mean but I was never able to get to talk to her. Every time I come in they said she's probably out in the back chopping down on food. That wouldn't surprise me either as this is the bottom of the barrel and most of them don't even have a lot of their teeth if you know what I mean. They can't sue me because it's true. Rotten to the core Daytona Ormond Beach. Glad to be out of the cesspool.

Consistently Kind, Professional, and Community-Hearted…read more I've visited SafeShip in Port Orange on numerous occasions for document notarization, and every time has been a truly pleasant and amiable experience. Both ladies who work there are consistently warm, professional, and welcoming. I often bring my toddler son with me, and they always go out of their way to make him smile--he especially loves the cute stickers they give him, which absolutely make his day. Contrary to some of the negative reviews I've seen, I can say from personal experience that this location is a gem. I highly recommend them for both shipping and notary services. They're efficient, kind, and genuinely care about their customers. What really stands out is their heart for the community. They support local causes like the dog shelter and even have a toy drive set up for Christmas. It's clear they operate with kindness and integrity--not just in business, but in spirit. I'll continue to use SafeShip for all my shipping and notarization needs. Grateful to have them in our community!
