9 months since my last review and they still aren't ever open. Just avoid this location and go to the one in the heights or up on shepherd.

I've been by at least 5 times over the last year during normal business hours and the service counter is completely closed. I've been by 3 times this week alone at all different times of day and they've been closed. There was a kind and wonderful lady that used to work here, but she retired about a year ago. Staff has been rude ever since. Must be nice to just decide to show up to work whenever you want to. read more

This location needs to replace Christine specifically. We are frequently sending packages and each time it seems to be some sort of discrimination. Racial, sexist and lastly towards disability. She seems to be a very unhappy and quite angry with costumers for being there within the last 20 times. This isn't an isolated incident and needs to be properly taken care of. read more

I will start by saying WOW! I recently went to this location on Little York to pick up a package and thought I was in a Club/Bar. The music the black guy was playing was very inappropriate. He was also unprofessional they he was speaking to customers, unbelievable. I rang the bell to get package and no one EVER came to door nor acknowledged they were busy. Several other customers ranged bell, still no one came to door. Undercover Boss, seriously need to pay this location a visit. I do understand if they are short of workers, but this ridiculous! Not to be confused with the US Poke Office, which is where you can pick up a Pikachu or a Sandshrew or whatevs. This is a substandard post office where things usually take a lot too long, and the people working here have not been friendly on any of the three occasions we came to use this one. Avoid this location at ALL COSTS. The lady at the front is very rude, unfriendly, lacks even the most basic customer service skills and will demand you to "GET IN LINE" even if you are simply just dropping off a package that's labeled and ready to go (which is typically going to be a 15 minute wait). I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt on several occasions - assuming she was just having a bad day, but no. She is a flat out unpleasant individual with a horrible attitude and should not be allowed to have any type of customer interaction. If I could give this place a ZERO I certainly would! read more

This is the worst post Office I've ever been to in multiple states. I've gone several times and there's a lady with short red hair and she is rude as hell. There's always a very long line that moves slowly and she is yelling at people to make sure everyone is wearing a mask in. Everyone I saw is wearing a mask so why are you yelling? You will also have to stand in line for 15+ minutes even if you're dropping a package that's ready to go with postage, which I've never had to do it any other postage location. The two ladies that work here are ALWAYS rude and grumpy af.. they provide the worst customer experience ever! Apparently I'm not the only person saying this. Read all other reviews. Although this is a convenient spot, the service is bad. It's not to the fault of the lone worker there, but it is the fact that this volume location ONLY HAS ONE FULL TIME employee manning the desk. This location is open from 9-4 but really it's pretty much open from 9-1pm 2pm-4pm. No lunch time sign what so ever. Another complaint is that the lines are usually long. They wouldn't be so long if USPS would install the electronic delivery stations inside the store. Makes zero sense to not have one in this area. The location is practically pre 2000's in terms of tech. You're better off going to the USPS at 19th street. But even there you'll face a crowd since after all this town is super overpopulated read more

Confessions of a first time mom: I have visited this location before, but until today I hadn't felt the level of disrespect visiting this post office. In fact, I am happy to add that it's been years since I felt that someone was treating me differently simply because of my ethnicity or background. For that I know I am lucky, but here is my account of what occurred today: I went to this post office to send out certified mail for the agency I work for. When you walk in like any post office, there are boxes containing mailing slips for certified mail, priority mail, etc. Only today all the boxes were empty. This was around 10 AM so it seemed clear they hadn't been filled that day, and may have been empty yesterday. I walked up to the register where the cashier was performing a credit card transaction for another customer. I politely say "oh I'm sorry, but could I please have a certified mail slip?" All the slips are right next to her, and I mean borderline touching her shoulder, but the cashier doesn't look up. She ignores me. I tell myself ok...she must feel like I'm interrupting her. Fine. After that customer leaves, she then hands me the slip without saying anything. I fill out the slip with the receivers address, and go back in line. When I approach the front this time, she explains I have to fill out the address on the envelope too, and doesn't leave me the option of filling it out in front of her. I'm starting to get a little more annoyed, but alright. Fine. I then get into the line a third time, and finally as my transaction is about to be performed another customer explains "I can't fit all these items into this box." I expected the cashier to ignore her as she did me earlier, but no. She pauses completing my transaction, talks, and helps the other customer. NOT FINE! I am now in an outrage because when I processed what had just happened I recognized that the cashier was the same race as the first customer ahead of me, the one whom she couldn't bother to look away from, and the same race as the customer behind me, whom she stopped to help when I was the one at the register. It was me who was the outlier. I wasn't entitled to her help, or even worth acknowledging. Maybe she didn't recognize that her actions could be construed as prejudice. Maybe she didn't mean it that way, but that's exactly how it came off. At the end when the transaction was performed, she explains that at the bottom of my receipt (that she circles) is a barcode where I can leave a survey about my experience. You can bet I filled out that survey as fast as I could while sitting in the parking lot. I finished filling out the survey, turned on my car, and I'm about to drive off when I decide--no. This isn't right. I can't just leave it like that. People deserve to know when their actions are wrong and hateful. I needed to let this woman know what she did was not right because if she treated me this way, there isn't a reason for her not to continue doing it. I walk back in, and I explain how she treated me differently without reason. I had been polite throughout the whole process, but I let her know what she did isn't ok. I also told her if she's having a bad day, I hope she has a better one, but she shouldn't treat 2 customers differently because she agrees with one customer's race more. She did apologize, but some things stick with you and are harder to erase. I hope you don't experience what I experienced, and I hope this location employs better workers. read more

A convenient location if you can tolerate the rude counter-help. Also check the postal rates before committing to using this location - they quoted me a price for a package that was five dollars above the price that I found at a different location with an employee who was pleasant and helpful. Why the price discrepancy? Was the employee at this location planning to pocket that extra five dollars? Use the Judiway location, it may be busy, but they are pleasant and honest. read more

I read reviews about the horrible customer service and well... it's not completely false. I had a bad experience, but I also saw how the customer service lady was nice to other people. So I guess it's a gamble. I won't be coming back because she pretty much told me that she was going to give me back my form and if I could never return super rude. read more
