However, I was there to pack and drop off some items for work. Ms. Shalonda was so kind to me; she saw me struggling with my first package and assisted me. I sent out 4 packages from there. She also made sure I took a pic of the packages to track them, as that specific post office can't provide receipts. Ms. Shalonda also helped my husband the day before, in setting up a PO Box for his business. This was one of the best experiences I had at the post office and I was SO grateful for Ms. Shalonda.

It was my mistake when shopping and having a purchase drop shipped to my daughter. I was rushed in my shopping so when it came time to check out and pay I was delighted to see my daughter's name and address stored on the website. I clicked on her name, chose UPS as the shipping method and paid for the order. Friday night, about 8 hours after I had placed the order my husband alerted me to the fact that the order had shipped but to a wrong address. The address stored was a rental house where she lived five years ago. Oh my, what was I to do! I started by calling UPS and provided the shipping tracking number and explained the problem to the gracious UPS Customer Service employee. She asked what was wrong with the address and when I explained it was an old address in a neighboring city she said she couldn't make that big of a correction to the recipient address. She did offer that I could have the shipment held at the UPS Customer Center in Jacksonville, NC and have the shipment held for pick-up. I called my daughter and she agreed this was the best option. Today she went to the UPS Customer Center in Jacksonville, NC and had a very positive and smooth experience. She called me after retrieving the package and exclaimed how nice the lady was that she dealt with. So I made a purchase Friday afternoon and it was available for pickup today, three days later, on Monday afternoon. Woohoo, UPS deserves five stars. (USPS needs to take a lesson from this service.)

I had five boxes that needed shredding which was supposed to be free from MFCU but the truck never showed. So after holding these boxes in my house for over a year I had to suckitup and pay for them to be shredded. I googled shred businesses and 521 Yopp Drive came up without a name of the business. I called the number that came up 910-400-4188. I was on the phone for 11 minutes while driving to the location. I searched more on the phone because I could not find the dang store. You have to click on another section to see the location which then still gives the number above, and then states 521 Yopp Dr #214, and .50 cent per pound but could be higher. This is not acceptable information. I finally saw the Postal Annex while driving around looking for 521 Yopp. I went in very frustrated and told the girl I have been driving around looking for 521 Yopp. The website is horrible. The number I called is not yours. Dedra was very understanding and sweet. She came out to the car and help load the boxes (because of my bad back) and then kindly took care of the process. I was thinking 50 cents a pound and when the pounds kept going up (didn't realize how much it all really weighed) I was surprised that it only cost me $45 when I was thinking $25. When I got home I saw the price per pound at .99 cent. Wow that is not what the website says. So I called the next day to inform them that they need to have Shred Nation fix the info. My suggestion would be for Annex Postal to but their own info so it pops up under shredding searches. The reason for 4 stars, is the shred nation portion but staff gets 5 stars! Instead of contacting me at the provided number/email, the packages were sent to my old address far away from my current home (have no idea where they got this old address) Contacted FedEx to pick up the packages, however they never came to pick them up. Luckily, the old neighbor was able to drop them off at a half way point. This location, which I thought was a FedEx site. When I arrived here, the guy states they charge over $10 for a "pick up fee" for these packages! This was not mentioned on the phone when I called to ask if they could hold the packages..... $10!! FedEx did not deliver them correctly and I'm penalized for trying to get my packages at an authorized FedEx dealer. Dude didn't even ask if he could help me get the over 50lb package into my car. Not cool.
