The post master needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY! She is completely useless and the post office needs to put Nathan in charge! I have had tons of issues since my long time mail lady left my route about a year ago and I started getting these short term people that are constantly rotating routes. Even off of holiday season we were getting our mail at 8-9 PM and that is beyond ridiculous! Not just because of the time, but to be working them so late when I know they are getting to work at or before 6 am six days a week to have to sort their own mail before they go out to deliver it. I have personally dealt with this "post master Ms Icy" (however she spells it) an couple times and she is nothing but a problem who thinks we all owe her something as if she is freaking entitled! She has to be a DEI hire because she surely wasn't hired above anyone else based of the skill she brings to the table! DEI or a job hookup is the ONLY way she is where she's at! Nathan has been absolutely amazing with all of my issues and DESERVES to be POST MASTER of SNEADS FERRY!!! All social media sites in SF are constantly complaining about how horrible the post office is being run right now and it needs a serious change! I will not stop until she quits or is fired! Sneads Ferry help me by jumping on board with 1 star reviews so we can fix our post office problem and get rid of this evil lady! Replace her with the person that will fix our issues and hire the employees that will deliver our mail on time and correctly! Support Nathan!!!! I will say that I don't even personally know him, but he is always the person that answers the phone and fixes all of my problems and they have always been fixed immediately! my packages which were supposedly out for delivery - they were there in the post office and they would not give them to me because they were "staged up" for tomorrow. scheduled as being out for delivery today. The sneads ferry post office had them in their possession since 1015AM. I went by at 4pm. I understand if they couldn't make it out for delivery but at least get it out the back for me when I show up to do your job for you. read more

Ive been here a few times to drop off packages and had no issues whatsoever. This is a small town Post Office and each time I've went in theres been one or two assisting customers. I personally do not see a problem with one or two assisting because its a small town post office. Theres absolutely no need for more than whats there. The postal employees were professional and of course asked me if I needed stamps..lol Do check their hours prior to going if you haven't been to this particular postal office. read more

I've filed a complaint with consumer affairs. I had my package resent to me and the tracking information that I have emailed to me said that the package was delivered by the post office. It wasn't at my door, and wasn't in our mailbox package box(because they never put a lock on there in the first place)it wasn't in the apt leasing office, so I went to the post office. The woman(Dori, or Doris) said that it wasn't there. She said that it was scanned as delivered, but actually sent back to the sender. She said it probably didn't include an apt number. However, I confirmed with the sender that it was on the package. And "probably" is an unacceptable response. Records, facts, and certainty and care should be taken with each and every piece of mail sent through the post office. I will now have to file an another claim and add it to my existing consumer affairs complaint and waste more of my time trying to correct this mismanaged establishment. read more

Was initially skeptical about going here to mail a package, because I normally prefer USPS locations w/a 24-hour Self-Service Kiosk. However, the staff here was great. Wendy at the counter was particularly helpful and was patient enough to (happily!) answer lots of questions. She even offered & looked for alternate boxes to save me money based on the size of my item (which I'd brought packed in my own box). I went at 1100, there was only 1 other person in line. When more people came in behind me, a second worker came to staff a second cash register. Nice, efficient little neighborhood post office. read more

If you catch it just right you won't have to wait, but otherwise expect to. There is only one person working generally and they just can't help everyone that is waiting. Also, if you get the older man don't expect to get the warm and fuzzies from him. Very cold. I tried to make light of something to get him to smile and he just stared at me. read more

Just moved to Sneads Ferry and there was a lot of confusion with the construction company that built our home on if we had a box in our neighborhood or not. Went to the post office and they took very good care of me! All of the staff was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed to be able to receive mail! Very happy! read more

This location has no sense of customer service at all! There is one good manager here recently but some of their staff have no sense of customer service at all. Majority of the time they say they have delivered your parcel or attempted but 9/10 they have not. It has taken a year to finally get my parcels. The manager now is great but some of the staff are still rude!! read more

It seems that the Sneads Ferry post office has gone "downhill" in the last year or so. The post office staff that mans the front of the post office are very good; they are helpful and efficient. The back room is another story; they don't answer the phone; I went there looking for Xmas mail and a check in December 2018 - items which were clearly shown on my cell phone app - and they didn't even offer to put a trace on them. I tracked a recent order and was informed that it was out for delivery but I'm still waiting 24 hours - It's really ridiculous that on a Saturday the post office is open a whole 2 hours. Pity the poor people that have to work on weekdays and the only day they can get to the post office is on Saturday. I really miss John; he was a bit brusque but got things done. The only post office worse than Snead Ferry is the post office in Fayetteville where, unfortunately, all our Sneads Ferry mail goes to first before being delivered. Amazing - Janet G. read more

Left a notice in my mailbox package was un-deliverable (no safe place to leave it). Meanwhile I was home. And they leave packages all the time on my covered doorstep. As well as the days following I had 3 other packages delivered. My package was then in limbo for a week. Meanwhile they were diapers and I had to go out and buy more while I waited for it to be resolved while losing money on the subscribe and save deal from amazon since I had to buy them. read more

The post office is small (usually only one person helping customers out front) and they close for an hour at lunch. I have been here several times to mail packages, and the workers were not friendly. I have had issues with my mail not being forwarded and went in to get change of address forms. The elderly man working was very rude when I requested four change-of-address forms and told me there was no way I could need four. I told him I did need that many. I should not have to explain myself to a postal employee. Since he's working in a military town, he should realize that military couples could very well need more than one change of address form (servicemembers frequently keep their legal address and also have a residential address, the couple may have moved here from two different duty stations, etc.). There was no need for him to be so unpleasant to a customer asking for something they should be allowed to have! read more

i mailed a gift card on 12/16/15 to the address of 253 lloyd street lot 1 in holly ridge, nc 28445 (the address should have been 243 lloyd st.) i received a return on this item in my post office box with the ripped front part of an envelope only with the gift card and christmas card missing stating there was no mail receptable and sorry due to the damage of the product. a week later ups was delivering a box from kohls to the same address-(tracking number-1z3y4y46yw50092951). it was delivered on 12/31/15 at 10:29am by the local post office. i contacted ups who said that the item was marked as delivered and that it was indeed the local post office in sneads ferry, nc who had the regular mail woman drop the package off at the written address. ups stated that i would have to call the sneads ferry post office to inquire of the package. i called sneads ferry, nc post office and spoke to john. john stated that "sometimes in delivery the machines can damage the mail." he also stated that the route driver delivered the ups package to the address written on the package. again-there is no house address of 253 lloyd street. how do two seperate items become missing? your review helps others learn about great local businesses. please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees. read more
