They normally take a picture when they deliver it, but this time no picture.now they want me to go down and pick it up. not right the company that sent me the package paid the post office to deliver it. now I'm told that I have to pick it up. This past week in the midst of all the Holiday packages being shipped through the USPS I sent a birthday present to my daughter who is living in the Holly Ridge house. I saw on the shipping receipt that the package would be delivered on Monday 12/19. That was fine with me. I mean shipping is super expensive, right? So the USPS does win when shipping domestically. And as long as it's under a certain size. I am able to go during the day when it's not super crowded, and I am always glad when I get Chucks window. He's friendly, pleasant to talk to, SUPER SPEEDY (FTW!) and always ask how my business is going, or how my son is doing if he's not with me. I appreciate his friendly banter and good attitude. Everyone else I've had the opportunity to deal with there is also pleasant. Unlike the other post office in town. This is the only post open on Saturday and it happens to be between 10 - 1PM. I had five boxes that needed shredding which was supposed to be free from MFCU but the truck never showed. So after holding these boxes in my house for over a year I had to suckitup and pay for them to be shredded. I googled shred businesses and 521 Yopp Drive came up without a name of the business. I called the number that came up 910-400-4188. I was on the phone for 11 minutes while driving to the location. I searched more on the phone because I could not find the dang store. You have to click on another section to see the location which then still gives the number above, and then states 521 Yopp Dr #214, and .50 cent per pound but could be higher. This is not acceptable information. I finally saw the Postal Annex while driving around looking for 521 Yopp. I went in very frustrated and told the girl I have been driving around looking for 521 Yopp. The website is horrible. The number I called is not yours. Dedra was very understanding and sweet. She came out to the car and help load the boxes (because of my bad back) and then kindly took care of the process. I was thinking 50 cents a pound and when the pounds kept going up (didn't realize how much it all really weighed) I was surprised that it only cost me $45 when I was thinking $25. When I got home I saw the price per pound at .99 cent. Wow that is not what the website says. So I called the next day to inform them that they need to have Shred Nation fix the info. My suggestion would be for Annex Postal to but their own info so it pops up under shredding searches. The reason for 4 stars, is the shred nation portion but staff gets 5 stars! I would not recommend PostalAnnex after my experience with them. My wife dropped off a package at…read morethis location, and the package was apparently lost. When we contacted them about it, we were told that my wife never dropped the package off, despite the fact that we know it was brought to the location. What makes this even more frustrating is that the package contained personal belongings, and PostalAnnex has refused to refund or take responsibility for the items that were lost. Instead of trying to help resolve the situation, we were essentially told that the package was never there. Losing a customer's package is bad enough, but refusing to acknowledge that it was dropped off and refusing to take responsibility makes the situation even worse. I expected better customer service and accountability. I strongly recommend keeping documentation, receipts, tracking information, and any proof of drop-off if you use this location. Based on my experience, I will not be using PostalAnnex again.

I can have a lot of grace and patience especially for newer staff members who may not have the muscle memory for the job just yet, but I came in this last week, waited in line a bit, and was greeted and served by a newer team member. I came with a few art pieces (none bigger than 9x12 in size) I needed packaged and shipped to 2 different addresses. We sat in there a good 45 min waiting, watching the whole time, she struggled to pack them correctly and something in me knew I should have triple checked if the packing slips ended up with the correct boxes but I decided to trust her. Side note: One of those packages was going to a dear friend who just had a huge loss in her life and the piece I was commissioned to do was to commemorate them at the funeral. I gave myself enough time to ship it out so it arrived on time. I left after waiting a long while to finish up everything and got my tracking numbers. The first package arrived when it said it was going to (the one for the funeral) and she opened it and told me it was the wrong piece. I immediately called the store and Kim was very helpful in getting me new shipping labels to then send to each person and get them to resend each package. Very thankful for her help. I was informed that my inconvenience was noted and that a manager will reach out and follow up. It's been a few days and still haven't heard anything. I can have grace for the new trainee but this is when the importance of what's shipping comes into play, you never know as a customer service rep what's super important and what's not. This particular commission getting there late affects my business and makes me look bad for not getting it there on time. This person paid good money to receive this piece on time and was very disappointed. All of that being said, I will keep coming back, I won't let this deter me from support a local business but I share this experience more for the team. I know things happen and I'm really understanding, it just affected my business in a way that may make me reconsider if I should use their packing services and just package my pieces myself.
