I know people only tend to write reviews for bad things that happen, but I think this is a great post office. I recently mailed a package and the postal worker asked me if there was a suite and I said no. But when I got home, I realized there was indeed a suite and I was able to call back up there and they added it for me. I never expected in a million years they would put me back on the phone with the person who helped me and they would adjust the mailing address for me. Where's my mail today this post office really is terrible supposed to get deliveries by 3:35 pm and it's 4:45 pm and no mail. Since my regular mail carrier isn't always on the job the replacement carriers are terrible. You know some people really look for their mail to arrive on time. Stop hiring these incompetent people. I can't speak to anything related to mailing services as we came here to get my daughter's passport renewed. After seeing a lot of cars in the lot, I assumed there'd be chaos inside. Nope. Two employees at the counter...one helping a customer with mailing something, and the other helping a customer with a passport. Once the passport person was done, the employee called us up...ten minutes before our appointment time. Granted, I was ready and had all paperwork in order, but the employee was friendly, courteous, and we were in and out before our scheduled 12:45 appointment time even started. Hard to beat that. Nobody else came in to mail anything while we were there. Definitely one of the least busy post offices I've visited, certainly during a lunch hour. I REALLY hate writing this review, but I feel like I have to. I was shipping stuff out, and Chris was helping me. He's very friendly, and quick. I've worked with him before, and he's always been great. While working, though, I noticed he had his mask not full covering his nose. No big deal, I'm wearing mine, and there is plexiglass. I'd rather he did, but fine. Then a customer asked him to cover his nose and he said he was fully inoculated and didn't have to. She asked one more time, and he flat refused. I casually mentioned that you can still catch the disease even after vaccination, but he ignored me. This is really bad for 2 reasons. 1. The customer is always right. I don't care what your politics are, simply pulling your mask to cover your nose is not a big ask. 2. Vaccination does not mean immunity, and you can still carry. Listen to scientists and doctors, not politicians. read more

I live in little Elm and I weeny to pick up my mail and they wouldn't let me get itt because it wasn't on hold. That's bullshit!!! It's my mail I should be an to pick it up when ever I want!! Had to call this wonderful post office again today because they keep returning checks that i have ordered know the second time as no such number. I have lived at this address for 15 years. Regarding our post office service In Little Elm Tx. About a year ago our regular postal delivery man was replaced. From that time on we have had the worst possible service you can imagine. Some days a week we only receive junk mail. Most days our mail does not come until 4 or 5 pm. Our prior mailman was always here by noon and most time earlier. We have had mail get lost (not delivered). Today it's 3:45 and still no mail. I'm not sure but I think we do not have a regular delivery person. She also allowed her employee to yell at me and defended her for it. They both put me on hold without asking or any consideration to let me know that I was being put on hold. I Live on Pinnacle Bay PT and our Mail Carrier is the best. She is very nice and always on time. She is a great person and always friendly. She is awesome and USPS should know that. Give you Mail Carrier a hug because they have a demanding job to get your mail to you as quick as possible. that can be stressful because the public depends on them to get it right and not loose important mail and documents. I Like the Little Elm Post office. Everyone has always been real friendly and Helpful except for a couple people that were having a bad day. Everyone has a bad day. People will change if you let them. I always give people a second chance and everyone should too. I believe everyone has a lot of good inside them and sometimes everyone has bad days and can let life and the job get to you and change your mood. People have bad days as one of the reviews mentions, but the Mail Deliverers in Little Elm are the absolute worst. We have amazon and other companies ship products to us all of the time from online orders, and family members occasionally ship gifts to us. Any time a package should be delivered to us that is too large to fit in the mailbox, the mail men/women bring a note to our door and walk away without knocking, never giving us our packages. How do we know? We have video surveillance, and have literally been at the window next to the door watching them. That specific time I opened the door when they were posting the note on it and said I was right there to receive our package, and they walked to their truck and drove to the next house, paying no attention to me requesting they just hand it to me. As for the office itself, any time I bring up this problem when I go in to retrieve it, the employees behind the counter could not be more rude, and never seem organized to find my packages. As well, they dismiss it like they were the ones who dropped it off, and swear they knocked, and that no one came to the door. I'm sure its a knee jerk reaction to most people walking in their doors, since this is a common issue with all residents in our area. I have not yet met nor observed one employee of the Little Elm post office act in a professional manner, or do what their job entails without upsetting the residents. I GT to the post office at 1:49pm to get a passport. Waited in line for 15minutes. At 213 pm they asked f anyone else needed a passport and then told us we couldn't get our passport done because they stop at 2pm!!! Infuriating. read more

Well it's April 2015 and.....I'm still trying to get my drivers license delivered to my home address which I have lived at for almost 11 years. The DPS has been very helpful, the post office well....considering the fact that I have NOT received my drivers license now going on 7 months has obviously not been doing their job. Unfortunately if this next attempt fails, I will have to go in person and re-pay to have my license re-newed. It's disappointing that my hometown post office doesn't seem to care about whether my mother has received gifts from her family. Our mail carrier to Lakewood Village has broken handmade pottery from deceased family members, falsely marked birthday presents as delivered, and seems to have "misplaced" gift cards my mother was relying on to afford her groceries this month after the holidays. And more. Issues like these have been brought to the office's attention and no one seems to care. I think something should be done about our mail carrier. He's clearly either dishonest or terrible at his job, and has been for years. It's fishy that the boring mail always seems to make it, and it's the gifts that always go missing. I have lived in Little Elm for 14 years and I've had Netflex movies delivered 2 and 3 days after they said they arrived, they had been opened and re-taped, I continually get my neighbor's packages and mail, which I end up delivering. I don't get my mail or packages. Once I called because 1 out of 3 boxes were delivered but on line said everything was delivered. They tracked my other two boxes to the postal employees house. (He forgot they were in his truck). They had him deliver the boxes later that night. Guess what? They had both been ripped open and 3 items missing. Today Again, I find out that a large order I placed for my business was shown as delivered and never showed up. I've talked to the head of this location with a handful of various neighbors mail and nothing was done. You could tell they just wanted me to leave. No Accountability will result in this never changing. I finally give up. The only thing I can do is order on-line, only if they ship UPS or FedEx. Just can't do the US Mail in Little Elm anymore. This is the worst post office I have ever seen. The carrier never picks up my packages/mail and just leaves it in the mailbox. I also don't get my mail everyday or when I guess they feel like giving it to me. Sometimes don't see them at all or they flat out just pass our street. The Post Office itself is outdated and sad with the worst and slowest customer service. Something has to be done or funds cut off to this office and would rather drive the same distance the other way and go to one of the Frisco Post Office.
