Over the phone, not only was she well mannered but made sure the problem with my package got resolved. My opinion on this location and USPS is a different story. This location has very hard working individuals but unfortunately can tell are extremely understaffed and a result there is a service issue that comes to play with that. I've never had a single one of my calls answered except the call I made to Jamerica Fleming at this location. She left me a voice mail originally and then answered my call back instantly, she then got straight to helping me. She is a rockstar and I'm very grateful my issue got resolved by her of all people. God bless Jamerica Fleming for her service. And I hope this location receives the funding and staffing they need to operate correctly!

I called the Homosassa PO and spoke to Jason, the trouble shooter and he tracked my package and was able to locate it, something the tracking number I was given didn't do. He gave me much encouragement that I would receive it sometime soon, Covid has turned our world upside down. I was very impressed with the time he spent with me on the phone and what a great guy, I could tell he takes his occupation very seriously. Thank you Jason for your concern and help!! At onetime this was the central hub and then later it was changed to Gainesville now it takes just a wee bit longer to get to Jax. All the sub stations are sometimes limited in what they can do but here all of your mailing supplies, commemorative stamps,, etc. are available. Personally I mail all of my international packages from here. It would be best to avoid this location during mid-afternoon. It is smack in the middle of downtown all the surrounding employees come here during their lunch break to have their mail taken care of. Important to know that if you have a complaint or possibly a compliment this is the sole place to take care of that. There's a door/window that you can ask to speak with a supervisor personally.
