Absolutely terrible service. Several intentionally missed drop-offs during times our apartment office was open. No support can help you in store or online, they are rude and constantly ignorant. If you are shipping a package I would avoid USPS at ALL costs. This is a terrible company and they do not care about their reviews or customer relations. I despise nothing more than dealing with any post office in the entire city of Tallahassee. I've never had any issues at locations in south Florida but just like everything else in this town, this place is garbage. Whenever there is something that goes wrong on their end they try to pin the blame on the customer as if I am the one the incorrectly scanned a package. Then they tell me to go to the main USPS P.O. where they can't do anything but give me the phone number of a "supervisor" that doesn't answer. Now I have a lost package but I just have to "wait and hope" it gets to my customer... thanks guys!! Not to mention they lack shipping materials and labels in the lobby area. Once again, this branch of the USPS has chosen its own convenience over customer service. I have a package that needs redelivery. I went online, as instructed, to set a redelivery date I chose the following day, Aug. 20th. Did I get the package on that specified date? Hell no. As a matter of fact, I got no mail delivery at all yesterday. In addition, I have my mail-in election ballot sitting in the pickup box at my apt. complex. I checked this morning and it is still there. I guess that means my vote won't count as it will, at this point, not reach its destination on time. This post office was empty which is a surprise because it's in a busy spot. The clerks were getting people in and out and the line was always moving. The people who deliver the mail constantly either don't actually deliver your packages or give it to other people. It's not just once or twice this is a normal occurrence with this location. Arguably the worst post office I've ever been to. They're fine if you're just looking to drop off a package - I've never had a problem sending anything out through them. But if you ask any of the employees here to do beyond the bare minimum, such as help you locate a missing package, they'll give you a long list of excuses and false assurances and you'll be coming back for months before you'll get any actual help. Always immediately ask for the supervisor if you have a chance, but even then expect to be back multiple times before you'll make any progress resolving your issue. Don't assume you'll receive even basic assistance, such as a letter to prove you never received your package (which, I've discovered six months after not receiving my parcel, is standard policy and should have been given to me on my first visit) or to be informed of the missing package claim options available on their website (which the supervisor also told me I should have been referred to on my first visit). You'd be better off just contacting the seller/whoever shipped the item and asking them to file a claim or, honestly, just buying another copy of whatever you ordered, because it isn't worth the time, energy, and sheer frustration of having to deal with the people who work here. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, as postal workers are often overworked and nobody is perfect, but even their drivers are frustrated by the sheer incompetence rampant throughout their facility. I'm not sure if those who work there don't care about their jobs or simply don't care about the customers, but either is inexcusable considering I don't have a choice in who delivers my mail. read more

I had to ship two things for eBay and my labels were marked First class. I went in and put my items mistakenly in the priority mail boxes and sealed them. I went to check out and couldn't because of my mistake. Ms Veronissa pointed that out and helped me put them in the correct boxes. She was very kind and patient with my mistake and made it all right. She packaged my items properly and had a smile the whole time. I would recommend this store and specifically Veronissa. She was knowledgeable, quick, and solved my problems. read more

The drivers do not do their job! One driver a while back ran over the neighbor's recycle bin and spread the stuff all over. I had security camera's train on my mail box and driveway. I caught up with the driver a couple blocks away and asked him why he just left the stuff he spilled all over the driveway and just left it there. He said he did not see it total lie! I have 2 different views of HD camera video of him hitting the bin and stopping to look at the mess and drove off. Wrote the postmaster in D.C. but nothing realy happened. Next I had a small package send from Amazon and the tracking said out for delivery. Got home no package and looked up tracking again. The excuse was "no access to deliver". I again have HD camera video of him driving within 1 foot of my mailbox and drove right past it. Just another lie! They have one job and fail at it read more

I know the post office doesn't care but I am writing this to confirm what others have said. This Post Office and most of its employees could care less, like tenured Professors, they do nothing and say what they like 'cause they can't be fired. My carrier did not deliver my package because it was and I quote "a big heavy package" on the note in my mailbox. I tried to contact the Office but no answer on phone. I even tried to have it redelivered via the website, I did get a confirmation, no delivery. I also tried to file a complaint online but the form you have to fill out does not function correctly...Surprise....surprise! Conversely , the package came from Amazon and when I sent them an email it was answered in a hour, (I sent at 8pm) I responded to that email that I still not satisfied and they offered a live person speak with immediately. If you've done business with them you probably know they are truly interested in helping and they did. I will be glad when the Post Office finally closes so UPS or another Business can deliver the few letters that are still mailed. read more

The drivers here are the worst. They don't deliver and make up bologna excuses. I have ordered 4 times and two of my packages have been delayed, and one of them has been lost. What's even more ridiculous I was supposed to get two packages one day, one of them arrived and the driver said the door wasn't accessible for the other! Is it that arcane that it has been discarded as not needed? I disagree. There should be a grass roots movement started to include the cent symbol in every QWERTY key device as something deeply American, something we all grew up with. A recognized and valued currency. Worst post office ever! I receive certified mail often, which means it has to be signed for..I am almost always home during the day. The carrier refuses to deliver it if its certified mail and I have to sign it. This place is located at the end of the strip mall on pensacola with bills bookstore and golds gym. It is a pretty big post office compared to other post offices I have seen in town but for some reason I feel like it is understaffed. The wait sometimes at this place is unbearably slow and long.The people who work the front area are relatively nice and helpful though so I overlook the long waits. My biggest problem is whenever I have a package involved and their supervisor. 1. I always have to wait a super long time just to pick up a package because when I ring the doorbell no one comes, I have to complain, and then when they finally go to look for my package usually its stolen or they lost it. 2. I then have to always talk to the supervisor or the post office detectives. The post office detectives are nice. But the supervisor is old, slow, rude, uncaring, talks wayyy too quiet in the loud post office so you can barely hear her, etc. Last time I went in she tried to avoid helping me constantly. First she saw me and walked into the back, then when she came back out she looked at me standing in front of her desk and asked "is anyone here to pick up a package?" and helped the lady waiting behind me. Then when she finally got around to me after me waiting forever she said "I can't help you." Then funny enough her boss was standing behind her and said "can i please see you in my office when you have time?" she then realized and tried to avoid seeing him and said all of a sudden " I am busy, see the long line?". Then she was willing to help me -_- wtf, really lady. She finally did her job (barely though and giving me a huge attitude) and I left after spending 30 minutes to be told my package was either stolen or lost, and they would call me if they find it -_- (They never did). I truly believe the people who work the front desk work harder than her, faster, and are nicer and she deserves to be replaced by one of them. Their supervisor works like she isn't grateful that someone is willing to give her a job or that her job is important, she acts like she dosent care if she gets fired. Overall, I don't mind this place since the people who work the front are nice and helpful when I am trying to ship a package or letter out, but when I have a package coming in......ugh, its always lost of stolen and I hated the attitude the supervisor gave me. read more

The worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I paid 24.70 to "guarantee" my package would be delivered to my boyfriend in the military the day of our anniversary before he gets deployed. I double checked with the clerk that the address and everything was correct, then was told I would be refunded if it wasn't delivered by 12 the next day. My package was,"undeliverable" because the "address"(which I confirmed twice with the associate) was wrong. I have a copy of my address label that was on the box and it is correct. I went in to get a refund and my package back and was rudely told to wait to the side. After waiting several minutes and missing class, they told me rudely that it was my fault for "writing the address wrong" and dismissed me saying I would not be refunded and they had no idea when I would get the package back because they "didn't do returns". I will never use this office or trust any post office again. read more

I ordered stamps for Christmas cards on December 4. When I checked the tracking, it gave an expected delivery date of December 8. Then the next entry is that it was out for delivery in my zip code as of December 12. Today is December 16.....still no stamps and the tracking shows the same message. I called this post office and after being placed on hold for 30 minutes, they looked at the tracking and said. "Oh, it hasn't gotten here yet." I then mentioned that it has been in my zip code for over 4 days and asked what can we do about the problem. The answer was to wait about a week and then file a claim. When I explained that they were for Christmas cards that have to go out now, I was told..."Sorry, we can't help you with that." Wow....nice customer service. read more
