Like many post offices in this part of GA, the building is dated. They have a self-service machine in the lobby if you'd like to bypass the line. I went inside to be helped by someone. There was no clear line and people were just standing wherever. Once I started asking people if they were "in line" they started moving to form something that resembled a line and indicated who was in which position--helpful. The worker who I got was a little dry/brash on initial interaction. I complimented her hair and that lightened the mood. Rather than asking me to make selections at certain steps, she hurried me through the process by just instructing me what to push on the screen/pad, and asking me an overarching question: "do you want to send these the least expensive way?" And then she just clicked thru until it was time for me to pay. Overall, it was a quick enough experience. They could likely use more workers. There were only two out front and a growing line.

When questioned, they claim the "systems are already shut down," yet it is clear they are still assisting customers inside. Today, I experienced this firsthand and was met with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, particularly from the older gentleman on staff. I arrived with ample time to drop off a package but was denied service due to this practice.
