So many different venders before entering the actual post exchange. Everything from car rental, jewelry, GNC, barbershop, beauty shop, african shop, pharmacy, eyeglasses, Starbucks, military clothing and sales, art, just to name a few. A full food court to include taco bell, Popeyes, Boston market, Arby's and more. Step outside and take a left your at the class 6 for your adult beverage wants. The actual PX can be DESCRIBED as a Macy's, walmart, and best buy rolled into one. So many different departments. Women clothing has a micheal korrs section. One of my favorites. The perfumes are the real deal. None of that fake stuff that fade away as soon as you put it on. I always enjoy my shopping experience here.

He acts like he didn't hear me TWICE so I had to physically walk up on him for him to LOOK UP FROM HIS PHONE to acknowledge me. He proceeds to tell me that he cannot and says she is the one who can assist me. Then looks right back at his phone. I absolutely cannot believe the disregard that these employees have for the customer service experience that they provide to others. Very disappointed.

I haven't been in here in about three years or so, and that was when I first got my Georgia driver's license (purely because my home state license expired, and I could not renew it online). This DDS is usually VERY crowded, and quite noisy as well. The way they do their system is kind of funky, and a little annoying, but if you can skate through on a weekday during everyone's normal working hours, you shouldn't be in there too long. I went a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon to get an endorsement added to my license, and it was fairly painless for the most part. The employees are definitely hit or miss, sometimes you get a super nice one and sometimes you get a... not so nice one. Either way, I make it a point to not go to this DDS, but it was the closest one to where I was at the moment, so I just decided to stop there.

I have had to visit this location on Mike Padgett Highway several times this year. When Nicole wrote her review I would agree with her. However they have added someone who asks while you wait in line "Why you are here?". This addition is incredibly valuable. In the past I have watched people wait in line only to be told they are not even in the right office or being told they need a document they don't have with them after waiting 1-2 hours. Since adding this person service has become highly valuable. Things stay moving even when fully loaded. Customers are much happier knowing their wait has been minimized even before they get to the counter. Also that person can direct customers to online features they can use while waiting in line. They have even added two computers terminals for this process and often people just start helping each other. So even that 80-90 year old grandma or grandpa can be assisted in a way that gets them through with a kind of speed I have never witnessed before. I used an online feature before coming in, that's right from home, got a number, sat down and was called in 5 minutes and helped in about 2 minutes. If they maintain this level of service I will raise the rating from a 4 star to a 5 star.

There was an option to fill out an application online, so my question having done that was if I brought in all the documents they asked for (with a few extras on hand just in case), would everything go smoothly? And it did. I was subject to an initial greeting where my purpose for being there was verified and I took a number and got in line. In the middle of the afternoon, it was less than ten minutes before I was seen. Presenting my stuff, doing a couple of quick tests, and paying a pretty reasonable fee, I was out of there in probably less than half an hour total. Now, some people have more complicated situations, and some people clearly don't check out all the online resources before coming, but at least from my perspective it was a pretty smooth experience and the people working there seemed like they knew what they were doing.

Located in the middle of the 700 block of Broad Street in downtown Augusta, the Confederate…read moreMonument stands at 76 feet tall. It has a granite base topped by a shaft of pure Italian marble. The monument was commissioned by the Ladies Memorial Association of Augusta in 1875. It was designed by the architectural firm of VanGruder and Young of Philadelphia, built by the Markwalter firm of Augusta, carved by Antonio Fontana, and dedicated on October 31, 1878. Around the base of the monument are the life-size statues of four Southern generals in the War Between the States: Thomas R. R. Cobb, Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and William Henry Talbot. A Confederate private is depicted at the top of the shaft. The model for this statue was Private Berry Benson of Augusta. An inscription at the base reads, "In honor of the men of Richmond County who died in the cause of the Confederate States." On one side, it reads "In Memoriam, "No nation rose so white and fair: None fell so pure of crime."" The monument is definitely impressive and it is in excellent condition. There are no markings. There is metered street parking. There were some rallies a few years back to have it removed, but nothing recent. I suppose it will go away at some point.
