Just window shopping, not having a clue what to buy. Just looking. We come upon helzberg jewelry store, thinking we was just gone look around. Then BAM this lady, I forgot her name.... She asked me did I need help, I said no just looking. They kept pressuring for us to try and see what our credit can get us. I'm like no I'm just looking. Not knowing my wife was trying to surprise me with a ring that day. That was the true purpose for being there. So my wife says, go ahead baby just see. I'm like ok. So I told the lady specifically. I only want to spend about two hundred and something dollars a month. She assured me that's fine. Y'all the process was so fast. Me and my wife didn't know the price or anything. They never said. I just Qassumed that I told her what I wanted to spend. That she wouldnt go over. Boy was I wrong. Never let them get a hold of your information without assuring you first, and then repeat. By the time they was done. Remind you I thought my credit wasn't going to work anyway, because I have bad credit. Welp wrong again. They ran my credit 13 different times, which I had no knowledge of. On top of that we got stuck with a bill of 10,000 for a freaking ring and that's not the best part. I pay 477.00 a month. It gets better, so I have my paperwork right, so I'm like ok. I only pay $243. Yeah righttttt..so time went by and I got this text that I need to pay helzberg. I'm like um what. I already paid them. Y'all it was a different branch of helzberg . WTH... So by this time I'm furious. I call them and tell them the same thing I said on the first day. I only wanted to pay 200 and something. Y'all I can't make this up! She says oh let me see what I can do. Lady I told you this like five times in the store. Are you serious?...but there's more she says come back to the store and we gone change the ring. For what so you can run my credit again and not say nothing. Hard pass. I'm good!! Any ways after all that I take my ring home after they sized it in the store. Just for it not to fit correctly. I have tried to tape the back of it. Epic fail, I've tried to order things through Amazon to make it fit another fail. Moral of the story go anywhere but here. If I could give them no stars. I would. One was being too nice. They didn't care if this put me in a bind or not. They were just clearly making a sell. Also I forgot about the part where she told us we could get married after purchasing a ring and said she was ordained. Welp she did the paperwork wrong cost me additional 50 dollars for paperwork. She had an appointment and a coupon, so she was very excited about the visit. When we arrived the place was swarming with people. It seems that everyone had the coupon or they were taking advantage of the beautiful day. Not sure which. Portrait Innovations is a very popular place because you can get your photographs back the same day. There turnaround time is what makes them so attractive. Unfortunately, we waited for about an hour past our appointment time. The staff was so swamped. We contemplated leaving, but my niece was in a good mood. You have to take advantage of a 3 month old being up alert and smiling. So we waited. They finally got to us and the appointment flowed smoothly. The staff really knows how to work with babies. My niece smiled and we ended up with lots of great shots. Now the coupon my sister had gave her a package for $9.99, but only one pose. If you've ever been to portrait innovations, you know it's hard to leave with one pose. I'm sure that's what the Portrait Innovations business plan is banking on to keep the place in business. It works! We ended up leaving with at least 6 poses of my adorable niece. We were able to use the coupon, but of course paid more because we just couldn't walk away with only one pose. Portrait Innovations is located on the Promenade, which is the outdoor area next to the Augusta Mall. It's always busy. It's hard to find parking right in front of the store, but there is a huge lot located behind the lot. Other than the long wait, I'd recommend Portrait Innovations for photos.

I visited them twice this summer to have photos of my children printed in 24" x 36" Black and White mat finish for a special designer theme for my family room. The prints were completed within a couple of hours of placing the order and upon picking them up I was in awe with the quality. They looked like high end work from a professional photography studio. Other customers in the store were complimenting me on the photos and asking how did I get these done. All credit goes to the BizMax Print Team. As a business professional with more than 20 years of experience, I understand that unexpected issues can occur in any business. However, what I experienced with Biz Max Print was not simply a delay; it was a complete breakdown in customer service, communication, accountability, and professionalism. On May 18, 2026, I visited the store in person and placed an order for my Columbia High School Class of 1992 Reunion Cruise shirts. I was in Augusta on a 30-day business assignment. I intentionally chose to support a local business rather than return to Atlanta, where I could have easily had the shirts printed elsewhere. At the time of purchase, I was advised that the order would take approximately 2-3 business days and would be ready by noon on May 20, 2026. When I followed up, I was informed the shirts would instead be ready by 4:00 PM that same day. Unfortunately, they were still not completed. After additional follow-up calls, I was told their system was down and that the shirts would be mailed to me since I had already left the Augusta area. I provided my mailing address and trusted that the order would be shipped as promised. A week passed with no shirts and no communication. Then, surprisingly, I received a call from the same cashier who originally processed my order. She contacted me to verify the order's basic details, including whether the design was to be placed on the front, back, or both. This raised serious concerns because it suggested the order had not yet been completed despite previous assurances. During that conversation, I explained that my reunion cruise was approaching quickly and asked them to simplify the order if necessary. I was again assured that only two shirts remained to be completed and that the order would be shipped immediately. Again, nothing arrived. On May 29, I contacted Patrick, who advised that the shirts had been shipped the day after Memorial Day and should have already been delivered. Yet when I returned home on May 30, there was still no package. On June 2, I contacted the business again and spoke with Robert, the individual who originally sold me on using Biz Max Print. He promised to investigate and call me back. Hours passed with no return call. When I called back, Robert stated the shirts had been shipped via UPS but was unable to provide a tracking number because the system was allegedly down. He promised to call me back once the system was operational. That callback never came. On June 3, the day before my 34-year class reunion cruise, I still had no shirts, no tracking information, and no answers. After multiple additional calls, Robert again stated that the system was down. He suggested overnighting the shirts in Tampa, Florida, where I would be departing for the cruise. By this point, after weeks of missed commitments and unfulfilled promises, I informed him that I had very little confidence in either his word or the company's ability to deliver. Once again, I was promised a callback within minutes. Once again, no call came. When I contacted the business yet again, Robert informed me that management did not want to pay for overnight shipping. At that point, I requested a refund because I was completely exhausted by the constant excuses, lack of follow-through, and apparent disregard for the customer. What is most disappointing is not the delayed order itself. It is the repeated cycle of promises, missed commitments, unreturned phone calls, inconsistent information, lack of ownership, and complete absence of proactive customer service. This order was important not only to me but also to my classmates, who were counting on me to provide reunion shirts representing our Columbia High School Class of 1992. What should have been a memorable and positive experience became a frustrating and unnecessary ordeal. Throughout this process, I experienced: * Multiple missed delivery deadlines * Repeated promises that were never fulfilled * Numerous unreturned phone calls * Inconsistent explanations regarding the status of my order * Failure to provide shipping confirmation or tracking information * Poor communication among staff members * Lack of accountability from management * A complete disregard for the urgency and importance of the order In over two decades of professional experience, I have rarely encountered a business that demonstrated such poor customer service and a lack of follow-through. Consumers have many options when selecting printing and promotional product vendors. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Biz Max Print and strongly encourage prospective customers to consider alternative providers carefully. Buyer Beware.
