I don't know why this post office doesn't have more stars. My experience at this post office was nothing less than excellent. There was quite a bit of a line because I came at 2:30 PM in the afternoon and they close at 5 PM. Nevertheless, the lady helping me out Colette was very kind and also save me money by letting me know that I don't have to send my mail as certified if I am mailing it in a priority envelope anyway. I came here to renew my passport today and it was a lovely experience. Last time I was at USPS post office, I was quite traumatized by the experience and how rude they were but I really like this post office and their customer service. I will come back next time I need to send something by mail because no one sends anything by mail anymore haha. Thank you Colette :)

I am a big fan of this location, love where it is and the people that work here. I've never had a bad experience! They always handle the line efficiently and give action times as you wait to make sure you are ready to go. The only issue I have is that the USPS website doesn't list last collection times for this particular spot so I took a picture! Hope this helps you too!

It's so disappointing to go to the post office ready to mail a package, only to find they're out of the boxes you need. I even knocked on the window, and they checked but confirmed they were out of the large flat-rate boxes. Such a letdown!

if one goes after work it is crowded and more help is required. As for parking, there is plenty.

It is the slowest moving line in existence. This location routinely refuses to deliver the dog food that I order through amazon. Its a 41lb bag of dog food and you are a DELIVERY COMPANY. Every job requirement in the United States of America requires its employees to be able to move 50 lbs (I sit at a desk all day and I am required to be able to move 50 lbs); you are a DELIVERY COMPANY REFUSING TO DELIVER a 41lb box. What the heck is wrong with you? I am able bodied and can come waste an hour of time waiting to pick up a box that should be delivered to my doorstep, but what if I was a disabled person? NOW HERE'S WHY IM LEAVING MY 1 STAR EL-STINKO REVIEW. You lie about attempted deliveries. I paid $25 to have something sent signature required and took the day off work to be available on the delivery date. At 11:55am I start refreshing the tracking information because you deliver to my neighborhood around that time. At 12:05pm I see an "attempted delivery at 12:03pm" LIE.....I have a ring camera on my front door dude. I RAN to my neighborhood's mailbox and no mail truck in sight.....you didn't even leave the "missed delivery" slip in my mailbox or at my door....this is like 3 lies in 1. For real, you guys STINK.

When I asked an employee for help, they explained that the office is closed because management doesn't want to pay for overtime so they closed early. The employee asked if I can come by the next day before 3pm and I responded with saying "no, because I work and I requested time off to be here. Which is why I also scheduled an appointment online. If you guys are going to close, then you should let people know." She responded with saying to call the numbers on the passport office to complain. I took photos of the phone numbers and everything else taped on the office doors. Both numbers listed do not work - they just keep ringing. It's pretty ridiculous if you schedule online for specific time and you cannot be helped by anyone.

Since it's the distribution center, they're open MUCH later than the typical post office. Their full service hours are Mon-Fri 7a-7p, Sat 8:30a-3p! I've always had great service here even when I was running in from the parking lot hoping to make it through the doors before they locked them. Even one time, although the door was locked, and the gentleman was standing there, he allowed me to pass him my stamped mail so it could go out that day. Like I said, the service has always been great here! I also love this location because they have self service machines inside the building and the doors are open 24/7. Tonight, even the general nighttime manager saw me at the machine and dropped died to chat. He was so sweet and friendly. The clerks here are always great too. Never had an issue by the way the postcard stamps are $.61 each. How I miss those days when they were $.15 each lol I guess the value is still good if you consider everything else has been inflated. I still highly recommend this USPS location for all your mailing needs..

There were maybe 5 people ahead of me. I was able to be in and out in about 30 minutes. Around 2:25 PM, people were crowding inside. One booth was partially reserved only for passports. I decided to come here since most locations are either closed on Saturdays or have very reduced hours. I even visited a tiny USPS in Whittier recently that felt super deserted. The downsides are the fact that it is stinky inside (old people funk), and the person behind me got so close as if she was trying to cut the line. But glad I found this place, as it was pretty much the only option for me, due to the availability of hours. My COA was pending and got denied. The employee let me get back in line 3 times, however. I had to fill out a form in person, since the online application was timed out. Hopefully, the system sorts my mail correctly, since the e-mail they sent was extremely insightful. Employees are very kind, and apologized to customers for the wait. They also have ratings for service. FYI: It seems they are also out of tape today. Also, it was really confusing to exit the parking lot since I think they're only three ways to go out and I believe two lead you through residential alleyways.

I think the extra 30 minutes of service is a game changer when you're in a bind. Due to being closer to Comic Quest at the time, I decided to go here to drop off a package. I…read moremostly selected this particular branch because I hadn't tried it before and I've encountered too many poor people at the Lake Forest branch. Getting into the parking lot was already inconvenient: one has to drive down a driveway and make a U-turn into the opposite side of the divider. There was ample parking, so that wasn't much of an issue. However, at the doorway, there was a solicitor selling flowers. They didn't advertise it to me, but I was mentally on guard while I was outside. I managed to get a receipt for my shipment but when I wanted to put it into the dropoff slot, the one for big boxes did not open. I was forced to shove it into the outgoing slot for small letters, which I have received conflicting information about what to do for parcels that don't count as letters but can fit in the slot: shove them into the letter slot or use the parcel drop locker. Luckily this branch had no such complaints in the form of signs on the wall. The solicitor didn't talk to me on the way out. I suppose that's one benefit of wearing clothes that make me look unapproachable even if the tradeoff is that cashiers treat me worse if I'm forced to use a human cashier to pay. The parking lot layout was linear so I drove to the "exit only" to go onto Valencia. There were some blue mailboxes at this exit. However, someone drove into the exit to go into the parking lot. If I had been dropping off something in the blue mailbox I would have gotten hit. My car hit the street on the way out. This matter dropped my perception of the establishment below my minimum for 3 stars, so I'm dropping it to 2. The existence of this location seems like a requirement for there to be a post office in the city at most. At least Lake Forest has two parcel drop boxes inside and their parking lot isn't so bad that I have to drop a level for it, even if I have to deal with violin-playing solicitors.
