I'm a single lady in good health who simply needed transportation to and from the hospital for this important medical test which took almost four hours. The person would have to remain at the hospital while the test was taking place, otherwise I couldn't receive the required anesthesia. While other agencies that I contacted said "Sorry, but we don't do that sort of thing", Mr. Shropshire of HomeWell said "Yes, we'll take care of you". He immediately sent a nurse out to do an assessment and then scheduled someone to transport me to my test the very next week. My caregiver arrived today on time, stayed with me during the test, and brought me home. She even waited a little while to make sure that I was feeling ok before she left.
