On a return trip to Parkersburg, I needed to find an alternative to the breakfast offered at the Blennerhassett Hotel (1 star). Man, did this place deliver. First, I never expected to find a Bulgarian cafe in Parkersburg. Second, it's super cute. Third, the staff is incredible. Really helpful to me, a first-time customer. Fourth, and most important, the food is fantastic. I'm basing that on the one savory crepe I ordered. But other customers were telling me that they visit every weekend, sometimes ordering a different dish every time. Sadly, I think this will be my one and only visit to the Unity Cafe. If I lived in Parkersburg, I'd be a regular. read more

We arrived and were welcomed with wonderful service. The owner is so inviting and kind she walked us through ordering and found something we would both enjoy, and she wasn't wrong. The coffee was fabulous. You pay for what you get. Quality. I'd say it was about $1-2 more than a Starbucks drink would cost you and it's worth it. We made a quick stop on our way home to Ohio and found this sweet little crepe shop! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got the Avocado Sunrise, Ham and Cheese and the Philly Cheese (on special for the day). All of our crepes were very tasty and filling. For drinks we had hot spiced chi, chocolate strawberry smoothy and a mocha frappe. All were delicious and hit the spot! read more

Great espresso. Reminds me of Italy, I can bounce in there, grab a delicious espresso, with a great crema on top, and then be back out on the street within minutes. Do not have to wait. One, if not the best espresso, in town. read more

A very pleasant surprise to find this interesting place in Parkersburg!! Quirky, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. European style coffee, crepes, and other food. The French vanilla cappuccino and the S'mores crêpe is amazing! It made us felt like we're in Europe instead. The salad and smoothie is very fresh, love the salad dressing and unique feta cheese. The crepes were delicious. I had the Sophia and the Bulgarian Feta was very creamy and not as salty as a Mediterranean feta. Coffee was also very good. Prices were appropriate for quality and coffee was the same price as you would pay at a gas station, but it is premium coffee. Pattia the owner was very kind. We will go back. LOVE THIS PLACE!! Such a unique menu with their specialty being crepes! The avocado sunrise is AMAZING! The seasonal fruit and sweet cream is also very light and yummy! I'd also recommend trying their teas. They have a black tea called something dragon and it's wonderful. On top of the food being great, the people are awesome.
