Stopped by here on our way though town - end-destination was the Hocking Hills. Definitely has an…read moreold-school/small town vibe, which sat well for me, and the prices reflected it (very reasonable for 2025). Lots of selection, whether hot dogs or burgers, so be ready if the line is rushing through on a lunch break. Apparently the special here is a root beer slush, which my buddy got and was happy with. I ended up getting a burger and hot dog, both were on a toasted bread, which is a little bit unique. Loved that the menu is pretty pickle-forward. Flavors were on-point, the bread could have been a little less-firm, but maybe it's because I took a couple minutes to step to my burger and it firmed up like drier toast. Kind of wished I got the chili dog, but was completely stuffed before the end of the meal, so wasn't able to further gorge. Will be stopping here again when we make a dedicated trip to Parkersburg later in the summer.

This place is pretty cool. Of course I got a root beer float. I ordered a hamburger and a regular…read morehotdog. My friend recommended this place and I did not realize that there was an extensive menu on different types of hotdogs, I will definitely come back here again to try the different ones and experience another root beer float

It was packed as usual. Hard to get street parking, and no parking lot. This is cash only establishment and very small. I was greeted immediately and placed my order to go. I ordered 2 hot dogs with chili, slaw & onions with a can of RC Cola. Paid my $5 putting the assorted coins of change into tip jar. Stood back against wall to wait patiently. The cook is extremely busy on his flat top, flipping burgers and whipping around like a weird dance...he has this to a science...very quick and orderly...you can tell this was not his first rodeo. The room was full of about 12 men, seated at squared counter top on stools laughing and chatting like winded up Chatty Cathy dolls. They were assorted styles of uniforms...policemen, city workers and Suits...everyone loves a good dog and burger!! She put my food into bag to hand me. She smiled and said "I'm sorry but we ran out of slaw'. I have to admit some disappointing news but not a deal breaker. Don't get me wrong, to me it's not a hot dog unless fully dressed with Chili, Slaw & onions...but hey I like Chili Dogs too. Thanked her and left with my brown lunch bag of Hot Steaming Goodness!!! Definitely going back....

First of all I noticed that there are no prices on the menu that they have been painted over.... I'd like to see prices. We had hotdogs with sauce slaw and onions and it wasn't anything special or that I would return for. I ordered an iced tea and it tasted like it was old and so watery that it resembled water. The french fries were crinkled and sprinkled with Lowery's or something resembling that... no ketchup packets, but ketchup squirted into a plastic side container also a big yuck!!! It took 20 minutes to get: two hotdogs, a small fry and a small drink at a hotdog stand. No We definitely won't be back. It was 430p & they were closing? I noticed that on their signs they have that they open at 11 but there are no closing times....
