Everything and everybody was great. It was clean, efficient, and filled with excellent providers. I highly recommend this facility.

I WOULD NOT SEND MY DOG TO THIS HOSPITAL!!! My husband went because a bandage on his finger had soaked in blood and was stuck to his finger which he could not get off due to the amount of pain he was in, he was told by not one but three separate nurses that the Dr. would not numb his finger before removing the bandage, all three then proceeded to WATCH MY HUSBAND DO IT HIMSELF!!!! He was given regular house hold scissors, ZERO STERILIZATION!!! He got as far as he could. After 2 HOURS the Dr did numb him before the bandage was removed. I'm sure we'll pay for the entire visit even though he did 90% himself. Once he was home and told me, I tried to call and speak to Dr. first time I was hung up on. 2nd time I was told by Todd not only would the Dr not speak to me but also he wouldn't return my call. I've NEVER heard of a Dr or nurses having so little regard for patients. Guess I should have read the reviews before I sent my husband there. read more

Today, I had my first mammogram and was understandably nervous. However, Fran's expertise and reassuring demeanor made the process seamless and painless. I highly recommend Unity, specifically with Fran, for mammogram appointments. read more

My daughter who has been battling cancer for 18 yrs was told by the charge nurse Amanda that she didn't have cancer, couldn't have her meds and told her she can find drugs off the street. She will lose her job I'm going to see to that. My daughter is a patient of Vanderbilt. I guess that's the street she gets her drugs from. Goodbye Amanda. read more

This place sucks as a hospital. The E.R. doctor has no compassion, they release patients that should not be released just to be admitted into another hospital about an hour later. If you have to call an ambulance, make sure they take you to the Tullahoma hospital. read more

This is a first class community hospital. As a patient for several days, I could not have received better care.

Someone on staff, likely a nurse, commented that my grandfather faked a fall to get painkillers. They obviously made this comment before checking his CT scan because the scan showed he had a stroke the night before. He was also handled extremely roughly coming home with bruises and communication was nonexistent. I waited for four hours for a nurse to come see me in the waiting room and they never arrived after saying they would see me. If you love your family or yourself do not go to this hospital. If I knew the names of those that mistreated my grandfather I'd pursue having them lose their license. read more

I recently had to admit my father to this hospital and can honestly say that this is not a place to go to get better. It is instead a place to go to die. They never would answer the page for help with my father going to the bathroom and instead left it to the family. There were times when we would get there and he would show signs of laying in filth for hours. When confronted the staff would complain about not having people. However there were 10 at the nurses station on any given day. What I realized is that the nurses were above assisting and expected the one tech in the hospital to do everything. If you care at all about the person in this facility get them out ASAP. You have the right to request a move. read more

This is the worst hospital ever no doctors on site and they didn't answer the nurses calls I pulled iv out and drove to the city this hospital is a joke somebody is going to die and not to mention two or three people left when in admitting. My mother was admitted to the hospital a few months ago, and they gave her something that knocked her out for 24 hrs. I kept telling them that she needed to be changed but no one changed her until the next morning. Her skin was all red and irritated from laying in a wet bed. Last week she was again admitted to the hospital, and they gave her a container to put her partial plate in. When she left the hospital, she forgot her partial plate, and called immediately after she realized that she had left it. They denied that it was there, and the woman she spoke with was rude to her. This is something my mother does not have the money to replace. I believe they should hold on to personal items for at least 24 hrs. so people who are not feeling well will have the time to realize that they left something personal behind. read more

We're in town for Bonnaroo and needed to take my wife here to treat an infection that developed at the site of a surgery she had a couple weeks ago. The care has been excellent and the staff very helpful. They're releasing her this morning but want a specialist to see her who is 15 miles away. We're at the KOA without transportation and one of the staff members is driving her. We're from Baltimore and have some of the best medical facilities in the world but I can imagine any of them providing this kind of service. Sincere thanks to everyone there. read more

Negative rating - no stars. Had to rate to post. I'll state the facts, you be the judge. Never been to this place before yesterday, doctor scheduled surgery for the end of this month, so I wanted to check it out beforehand. First impression was the ancient rusted heat/air units piled on the roof, a lot of them. Kept going, pulled into a parking spot - right in front, since there were only four other vehicles in the lot. Opened the front door. The tiny lobby was dark and no one was at the small reception desk. There was a sign on the desk stating this fact. There were no voices, no sounds, no indication that anyone was even in the building. I decided to walk to the right down the hallway, passing several closed wooden doors. The last door had a sign on it stating their "computer system was still not working properly" and anyone who needed medical records had to call someone. Kept walking, and in the hallway was a gurney - dirty, rusty, and looking like it belonged in a dumpster at the recycle center. Still no signs of life, until I came to a nurses station. Three nurses were sitting at a desk and didn't seem surprised to see me standing there. I had to ask for help. One of the nurses, I won't mention by name, answered my questions and was helpful. However, her answers were disconcerting, to say the least. When I told her about my upcoming surgery, and what it was for, she looked a bit startled and asked me why I wasn't having it done in McMinnville! She told me they do not have an ICU, they used to but couldn't justify the expense, and if there were complications they would have to transfer me "somewhere else." Lastly, when I told her I had concerns about the anesthesia, she referred to the anesthesiologist as "Jeremy" -not "Doctor So and So." Take away from this what you will, but after this experience I wouldn't go to this place for a hang nail, and most certainly NEVER for something as serious as removal of a 15cm dermoid ovarian cyst that the doctor told me might have the potential to be cancerous and would then need to be removed by an oncologist, or the fact that any one of a dozen unexpected complications might arise from the surgery, as stated in the paperwork provided to me by the doctors office, that could not be addressed by the staff at Unity, which would require me being transported, mid operation, "somewhere else". read more

Took my son to this hospital to have a huge piece of wood removed from his foot. The nurse rubbed numbing gel on his foot then the dr numbed it with shots so he could cut his foot. Well he got a piece out and said i got it all .well last night my son got a 5 inches out of his foot. He was still in pain know wonder why. Thanks for putting my son there so much pain a you didn't even get it out . sham on you . read more

My friend injured his foot during a concert during the Bonnaroo music festival. I understand that they were busier than normal due to the festival, but we had a horrible experience. Dr. Seeman was very unprofessional and told him his foot was broken when it wasn't. (He went to a different doctor and the X-rays from this hospital showed no broken bones.) That means Dr. Seeman didn't even look at the X-rays. We got in at about 3am and we're finished at 4, but they didn't have the correct size crutches, so we had to wait 6 more hours before we got the correct crutches and could leave. During those six hours, I was exhausted, but there was no place for me to sleep. I had to sleep on the cold ground because I was desperate. None of the staff thought to offer me anything. A kind janitor saw me and got me a pillow and blanket. Also during those 6 hours, we asked to see the X rays 3 separate times and were never shown to us. The staff forgot about us for a majority of the time. I had to go and ask for help multiple times because no one checked on him to make sure he was ok. There were a few kind nurses, but overall the doctor and staff were rude, judgmental, and forgot we were there. 6 hour wait time for crutches, and a doctor that didn't even look at the X Rays which lead to a wrong diagnosis. read more

UMC probably has good healthcare--I've never been in personally. My complaint is that no one ever answers the phone!!!
