Instead of going to Banter to buy my daughter's Christmas Gift I came here. I ordered a nameplate for her on Dec 9th and was assured that it would be there on time for Christmas. I called and text in the days leading up to Christmas and got the run around. Finally I showed up right before closing on Christmas Eve and was told there was an issue with the shipment and it wouldn't be ready by Christmas. The staff apologized and offered me a small necklace free of charge so my daughter had something to open, while promising that the necklace would be there the following week and they would reach out when it's ready. Now here I am, over a week later and I'm being sent to voicemail and my text messages are going unanswered. Be careful with purchasing custom items from this store. It's one thing to purchase something there and in stock, but for anything that will come in later, this store may or not provide your item. I'll be reporting them to the BBB as I have not received any mention of a refund and haven't received my item.

Many times they can do small repairs on the spot and if they can't they tell you when the work will be ready. Unfortunately, the customer service at pickup left a different impression. Since I brought my own item for embossing, I asked if they had a bag or any type of protective wrapping for it. I understood I hadn't purchased the item from their store, but I had paid for the embossing service. Even when I offered to pay for a bag, the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. This wasn't about getting something for free. It was about the customer experience. Small gestures, or simply responding with kindness and a willingness to help, goes a long way. The quality of the work deserves five stars, but the interaction at pickup unfortunately did not reflect the same level of care. I would return for the quality of the craftsmanship, but I hope they place a greater emphasis on customer service in the future.

When we sent someone to pick them up the day of the banquet, Andrew was extremely rude and told us that he would call when they were done. We called a few hours later and were told they would be done in 15 minutes. So we sent a second guy to pick them up who was again verbally abused by Andrew and left empty handed. Finally, two hours after that, someone was able to pick up the plaques and, of course, one out of the three were wrong. We sent the incorrect plaque back to be corrected and then didn't hear from anyone for WEEKS. We emailed multiple times and never heard anything until one day the plaque was magically done even though we hadn't heard a word and had considered it a lost cause. Then, of course, they demanded payment ASAP even though clearly they didn't care to do business efficiently. We paid and are done with them. I will NEVER use Trophy King again! Rude, verbally abusive, and not able to come through on what they say. Never again.
