But it was very interesting to learn about the locations of the plots and taste the difference in the grapes as well as learn that the winery still keeps up with it's Ukrainian Heritage notwithstanding the generalized Soviet attitude toward more intelligent and energetic members of its society. The person who was doing our tasting was very knowledgeable so we learned a lot. Tasted quite a bit bought some but enjoyed our experience immensely.
