Sadly, Donna does not realize that the receptionist can have a lot to do with running people away from a business and profits failing. The basic facts are not at issue: The company has letterhead, paperwork that resemble transfer deeds and sales people that will help you each step of the way; however, in most cases, the minute that they receive your cashier's check (which is the only way they will accept payment) they cut off all communications with you. There are some instances where they ask for more money at the last minute to "finalize the closing." I advised my client to stay far away for good reason: the Better Business Bureau of Nevada had received over fifty complaints relative to this company in less than six months. A word to the wise if you want to sell a timeshare: 1. Use a business you can trust; 2. Confirm that the company is licensed; 3 Determine if the company charges a commission, handle the entire closing, provide escrow services?; 4. Do not pay upfront fees and if you do pay via a credit card which offers recourse in cases of fraud; and 5. Remember the old adage, if it sounds too good to be true........
