I had cleanings every 3-4 months (which were done competently), and the last dentist I saw there said I had horrible "periodontal disease" and would require extensive care. Even with expensive treatments, "Once a perio patient, always a perio patient". My husband had been begging me to try his dentist (Dr. Prieto) for years, and I finally relented. I couldn't believe the difference! Dr. Prieto couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. When I asked him how much my periodontal disease had advanced, he said, "What periodontal disease?" I was in shock! I explained my care at Coast, and he just shook his head and said, "Yes. I used to work for them". He told me I DIDN'T have perio disease, and would not require the treatment plan as outlined by Coast Dental. I just needed my routine cleanings and yearly exams. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Prieto or his staff. I get the best cleanings, and ALL the staff seem genuinely happy to see and care for you--- from the front desk to checkout.

These CROOKS charged me $35 for a cleaning with the excuse you need extra cleaning which is total BS..Then the dentist worked on my teeth and the BULLDOG LADY at the front reception totaled out the job and gave me the out of pocket price after consulting with my insurance company...I paid in full and went on my way....Then these crooks started sending a bill for $70.00, Every month for the past 3 months they have sent an invoice stating I owe $70.00, these bills arrived after about 6 months from my last visit, after they assumed rightly, that I would not return to these CROOKS. I spoke with my dental carrier and they had no idea why this dentist was sending me a bill! They checked their records and assured me they had paid their portion and when i checked and told them what I paid, they told me I OWED NOTHING and to disregard the bills. This appears to be a scam from a dental office that is very shady. That nasty, bulldog receptionist is really a disgrace and should not be dealing with the public. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF BY THESE CROOKS!

It bothered me so much I went to another dentist and they discovered his mistake. I even went to an endodontist for verification. I ended up having the tooth extracted and the new $1000 criwn went in the garbage. Im still suffering a c ouplr years later with terrible sinus headaches and pain in my jaw. He also said I had about 8 cavities, the other dentist, 6 months later, found only one. Beware of this dentist, Ive tried to file a complaint with Florifa Board Of Health but they didnt take my complaint seriously, not even looking at the xray evidence etc. The other dentists said he should have delt with the problem befire putting the crown on. I lost $1000 and am still suffering

The root canal was done through a bridge that had been installed over a decade ago. After they installed the permanent filling, 5 days later, my bridge fell off while I was eating. I called back with the problem and was told to come back and they would reattach it. After a lot of "prep" work, the reattachment charges were over $500 and 30 days later it came off again. Needless to say, I wasn't going back there to let them try again and CHARGE me again. The competent dentist that did reattach it said they almost destroyed one of the teeth that was an anchor, making the reattachment difficult. STAY AWAY AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
