I have not only been ignored by my teachers, but the administration is rude. I am coming up on a deadline to register for fall/summer classes, and I had refreshed my emails and messages for weeks looking for instructions. I had even called the school and emailed my advisor once I finally found out who she was. In the end, I had to contact the advising office to get a group email sent out so that I could get a response. This woman proceeded to say that she has tried multiple times to contact me (I have no messages from her), say this is a recurring pattern (this is my first semester here and i have never received any messages from her this entire semester), and ask the other administrator how they should address this as if I'm not in the email as well. She also asks if she should send proof, which I would appreciate from her because I missed my mandatory group advising due to this. In my opinion, this is highly unprofessional and the amount of miscommunication and lack of responses from the staff at this school does not reflect the quality of service they offer.

God guided me to go to this college. For a reason. I said a prayer to go to college and I should have gone into culinary school. But then some talked me into going into healthcare. I paid my way to college. I respected every professor on that campus. And now I stand in 2025 and find out that you fired a professor of biology. For stating what??? I will never give anything less than five stars for this college. Firing the professor? There is only biological male. biological females. told the x-ray tech back then that I didn't believe in 1997 Yes, I broke my spine. I wish I would've listened to the master PT. Yes I did. Recent graduate here. I attended from 05/2020 - 08/2021. First off, this school is designed to put…read moreyou into the aviation industry as an A&P Mechanic as quickly as possible. Attending a part 147 like HU allows you to -possibly- obtain your A&P certification in 15 months versus 30 months if you go through something like an apprenticeship. With this being said, YOU WILL NOT come out of this school a master mechanic, the A&P certification is, "A license to learn," and you will hear this quite often. So, don't let that ruin your Hallmark experience as it did frustrate some people in my class. Also, the school just doesn't give you your A&P certification just because you graduate the program, you must earn it outside of school. However, if you are putting the work in at school and doing well the school will cover all testing expenses and you will be very proud that you didn't have to dish out nearly a grand just for your A&P certification. More about the academics of the school, there are 8 terms, all of which are roughly 8 weeks except for terms 5&8 which are 5 weeks. Again, you are primarily learning how to pass the FAA exams to obtain your A&P, don't forget this. However, you will learn a lot, but it's a very small amount of knowledge in many different subjects. My experience: I give HU a 3-star review because I was not too impressed with HU's instructors, yes, some were absolutely outstanding (shout out to term 7!) but some instructors didn't even seem like they wanted to be teaching, and were not engaging at all. Also, since the school is FAA regulated, it has a very hounding attendance policy which everyone hates. If you are late, it's time against you and you MUST make up that time, there is not such thing as an "excused absence" in the eyes of the FAA. Overall, the school does what it is suppose to do: prepare you for your FAA exams, but you have to be willing to put the work in on your own time. Good luck!

Well to start off I went by a day after all the advertisment they make. Ive always wanted to learn…read moreabout aviation and all so I went by once to look around campus. That was my first mistake. Ernesto ( i dont recaall.hes last name) was so eager of me going back to look at the campus. He made me sign off so much paper work and even took my credit card information. With him I never once saw the campus. Including he was saying i had to be proccessed on financial aid before anything. He charged 150 out of my account telling me it was for the badge. He wanted me to take an assesment to see if i even qualified for the program. In the end I was talking to my boss. We lookes up deep into the reviews of these guys. Basically the numbers they told me were inverese of what they actually are. They are not accredited as they say they are, and the certificates you earn from there dont mean anything anywhere else. Basically its all a big rip off. Anyways. I go back, tell them that im out of the program and that i was not going to take the test. So they ask why and stuff. Didnt need to tell them anything. I asked for a refund on my 150$. First financial aid said its possible since I had not gotten my badge. (Which i needed the test for). They call me a week later telling me a check is ready for me to pick up with a refund. The amount is 40 dollars. I tell them i paid alot more the that and that I wanted all my money back. They said it was a mistake and that they were going to call me back. I kept trying to reach out for them and never heard back. They didnt respond my voicenails and everytime I went by they were never there. I waited a month until I received a response. And again 40 dollars. Again I told them I paid more. And today ireceived a 40 dollar check. Thank you hallmark university for ripping me off 110 dollars without an explanation and for wasting my time and gas. But James at the campus he was the onlyone that cared and didnt try to brainwash me. On the other hand Ernest (Ernie) just didnt give a shit of my well being. Anyways long story short. Before you reach into your pocket for a 10 year commitment. Look beyond the reviews. It only takes 10 minutes and payments part of your life. Do your research and go to school the right way.
