Dr. Liss manages "Columbus Memory Care" and has been treating my aunt suffering from Alzheimer's disease. My wife has mild COPD and, in my estimation, was not receiving quality care from her pulmonologist, so I googled up a cross-section of pulmonologists, and dug into their competence and patient feedback. Dr. Patel shone brightly at the very top (4.9 out of 5 stars) of patents' ratings. We've seen him for 3 visits now, and I've gotten to the point that I look forward to seeing him.His affable nature and pure knowledge are a 5 star rating from us.

My wife was nervous to come here since it is not a hospital setting and has never had a good experience so I tagged along. We were so impressed with this facility that I had to come on here and give my first review! First of all, making an appointment was a breeze. Stephanie is exceptional and really helped my wife understand what sleep study she needed to be scheduled for and took care of the precertification process. My wife and I decided to drive to the facility before her scheduled appointment, so she knew where to go and was greeted by Britney the receptionist. She was wonderful and even gave us a tour of the lab. The lab was very clean, and each room looked very comfortable and cozy. They also had a bedroom for children which I thought was very endearing and thoughtful. Night of sleep study: My wife's sleep technician for the night was Esmeralda and she was one of the nicest healthcare workers that she has come across in a long time. She was kind, talkative and very thorough with hook up procedures. We also learned that this facility is veteran owned whom lives locally and has been in the business for a long time. We were also very happy to get our results within days. Thank you, National Sleep Solutions, for providing my wife a safe and comfortable environment. This is the only civilian referral that I had to repeatedly contact my PCP and Tricare. While awaiting these 9 months for my complete study I have had 3 referrals with no issues. As a veteran-owned business, one would think that the owners understand and value the complexities and responsibilities of servicing veterans and their family members and have staff that are trained and knownable with Tricare referrals. The lack of scheduling, delays and communication is deeply concerning and it is extremely frustrating to repeatedly have appointments rescheduled and receive incorrect scheduling information. One should be able to rely on the appointment date and confirmation emails provided by the provider office (National Sleep Solution) as valid proof of scheduled appointments. The receptionist should not be calling a patient the day of saying that the appointment is for the next day. when the patient has a confirmation email stating that the appointment is on that day. One can only think that she gave someone else the appointment date and or mishandling appointments.

Over the past two months, I've reached out at least eight times -- not once have they initiated a call back. I've spoken with each of their front desk staff (A, L, and Z), and every interaction has been me chasing them rather than them following through. The pattern is always the same: * "We'll call you back in 10 minutes" -- never happens. * "Please hold one sec" -- left on hold indefinitely. * "We're having an issue" -- but nothing gets resolved and no one follows up. The only thing they've provided is an initial questionnaire (two months ago). Beyond that? Silence. No communication, no resolution, no progress. With so many providers that value customer care, this level of service is unacceptable. In my experience, this is not a company that values patients' time, health, or well-being. Edit: After posting this review, their director (T) called me within an hour. I appreciate the outreach, but it was too little, too late. If this is how potential patients are treated at the start, I have no confidence in how results and feedback would be handled later.

I contacted Alabama Sleep Therapy first, since they provided the initial quote, and they directed me to Jernigans, claiming they handle billing. After speaking with Jernigans and explaining the situation, they apologized for the misinformation and insisted I had to pay the fee. I then called Alabama Sleep Therapy again to report the issue. They said they needed to review my account and didn't understand why I was being billed $750. They promised to investigate further. It has now been two weeks, and I have not received any follow-up.
