If your doctor refers you to Alabama Sleep Therapy, do yourself a favor and request an alternate recommendation. Over the past two months, I've reached out at least eight times -- not once have they initiated a call back. I've spoken with each of their front desk staff (A, L, and Z), and every interaction has been me chasing them rather than them following through. The pattern is always the same: * "We'll call you back in 10 minutes" -- never happens. * "Please hold one sec" -- left on hold indefinitely. * "We're having an issue" -- but nothing gets resolved and no one follows up. The only thing they've provided is an initial questionnaire (two months ago). Beyond that? Silence. No communication, no resolution, no progress. With so many providers that value customer care, this level of service is unacceptable. In my experience, this is not a company that values patients' time, health, or well-being. Edit: After posting this review, their director (T) called me within an hour. I appreciate the outreach, but it was too little, too late. If this is how potential patients are treated at the start, I have no confidence in how results and feedback would be handled later. read more

I was referred to this place by my primary doctor. Before starting, I asked someone at the establishment about my costs. They requested my insurance information and assured me I had no deductible, and that the only amount I would be responsible for was $154 per visit. This began in February. Fast forward to March, I received a bill stating I owed $750. I contacted Alabama Sleep Therapy first, since they provided the initial quote, and they directed me to Jernigans, claiming they handle billing. After speaking with Jernigans and explaining the situation, they apologized for the misinformation and insisted I had to pay the fee. I then called Alabama Sleep Therapy again to report the issue. They said they needed to review my account and didn't understand why I was being billed $750. They promised to investigate further. The physician and staff are fantastic. The facilities are clean and more than comfortable. My tech for the evening of my sleep study was amazing, attentive, and very accommodating. I highly recommend this group to anyone needing to be evaluated for sleep apnea or those who just need a study to make an adjustment in their machine settings. read more

My primary care physician referred me here and my visit felt like a complete waste of time and money. The doctor was not very thorough and didn't really tell me anything. I needing the setting on my C-Pap to be adjusted and of course, that did not get done. The office was supposed to open at 8:00, but the door remain locked until pretty close to 9:00. They did not provide me with the option to complete the paperwork online for new patients so, I was bombarded with the usual stack of documents to fill out before seeing the doctor. also, the wait was a little too long considering only 1 person was ahead of me. Ive had about 5 sleep studies in my life. Hands down best experience. Extremely knowledgeable. Can do attitude. Clean and fresh. Safe location. Doctor correctly diagnosed my condition in about 10 secs. MULTIPLE other doctors missed it. There are a lot of great reviews on Yelp and Google. I'm not sure why they are posting the only negative one but I DO NOT believe ZS went to Alabama Sleep. I am a doctor myself. Sometimes when people dont get the diagnosis they want, they complain. In any case go here. I promise, you will not be disappointed. read more
