My daughter was simply getting two of her earrings downsized. The charge was $10 per earring, plus an additional $15 for a new backing, bringing the total to $52 with tax. As I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that there would be an extra $5 charge for using my debit card, so I would recommend bringing cash. I asked whether this fee was mentioned on their website, and she said it was not. When they downsized my daughter's hidden helix piercing, the bar was still too long. The piercer explained that the ear was swollen and that she couldn't push the earring back any farther. While I understand that swelling can affect the fit, I was hoping for a better overall experience. I truly wanted to support this business, but between the unexpected closures, undisclosed card fee, and leaving with a bar that still seems too long, the experience fell short of my expectations.

I had even asked if it looked a little off but the piercer with the hat didn't agree and said something along of the lines of its the way my ear is shaped. I went to another shop for a second opinion and they had noticed it was off and were kind enough to remove it for me. They had also noticed the marker points and said it was unsanitary to re-use markers on clients. Naval piercing: I had gotten my navel piercing here last year too and it had gotten infected within the first few months even with me consistently maintaining it . I can't exactly pin point what the issue was because it's been too long now, and I know they're also prone to rejecting. It's unfortunate I went through these experiences. When we got there the next day he met us at the front and was super friendly and immediately made my daughter (and son who tagged along) feel comfortable. We did the quick paperwork thing but it was super streamlined and an easy process. My wife even decided to sneak in another piercing and he was super cool about it and didn't hesitate to do both of them. His patience and professionalism were both top notch for my wife he took the time to show her a couple different ways hers could be done and didn't rush her on a decision. My daughter went next and though it was just a traditional lobe he took his time marking the dot and even double checked the symmetry with calipers (he nailed it first shot) he was up front yet comforting at the same time walking her through the process and had everything ready to go and efficiently knocked out both earrings quick and painless. Jingles is definitely our go to guy for my wife's next piercings and my daughters next ones ( in 10 or so years) and also our go to recommendation from here forward. His prices were extremely fair so please trust me, spend the few extra dollars and ditch Claire's and go to a professional!!
