    I found Michelle through Yelp after I inquired at LA fitness about hiring a personal trainer. LA Fitness wanted to charge me an initiation fee (I'm already a member), sign a 6 month contract, and assign me multiple trainers depending on my availability. The deal did not sound appealing to me so I went on yelp to search for trainers in my area. I am so happy I ended up with Michelle! In such a short time I starting to see amazing results because of her knowledge about working out and eating right. I'm astonished when she tweaks my form for certain workouts and I can feel it strengthening a different muscle! There's really no secret to looking AMAZING but to train hard and fueling the body with proper nutrtion. And 2 unplanned cheat meals a week (encouraged by Michelle). What I didn't sign up for - compliments from everyone about how FIT I look. I love sharing the knowledge I've gained through Michelle. I feel more confident and energetic. It's a bittersweet moment when your favorite jeans are too loose! Thank you for everything Michelle! I've never regret any of those 5 AM workouts.

Michelle has tailor made a fitness program that is effective, simple and targets the areas I have been having the most trouble with.     Michelle is an excellent trainer. She is encouraging, positive and has helped me significantly in changing my mindset when it comes to viewing fitness and health. Before, I was very lazy and did not take care of myself. Now, I'm way more conscious of the steps i'm taking to take care of my body and because of michelle, I was able to realize that being healthy isn't just about "being skinny"'or "eating only salad and chicken", it's about loving yourself, working hard to reach your goals and never forgetting to give yourself a treat here and there. An important part of my progress with michelle for me has been the mentality behind my health and how i treat my body. Quite honestly, I've never been overweight or underweight, I was always within my "weight" for my height/age/etc..the main thing was that while my metabolism was able to keep up with it, I was not eating healthy(i would eat in excess and would use food in a negative way), I would NEVER work out and overall was just extremely harsh on myself. Because of michelle, Ive realized that being fit/working out is actually fun and that there are ways to be healthy and still enjoy myself! She has encouraged me to feel good about myself and i'm finally in a place where I'm happy with who I am physically and mentally. Michelle is an incredible trainer and I'm very happy with my progress.     I could wax lyrical about my training experience with Michelle for hours. While showering her with typical YELP hyperbole such as being the "best trainer ever" would be technically accurate, doing so would actually be a disservice to her skill set. I am a Type A business executive in my mid 40s that is short on time, shorter on patience, and am extremely results driven. Had I not seen major changes and consistent improvements, I wouldn't have trained with Michelle for more than a month. The fact I trained with her four days a week for more than three years speaks volumes to her knowledge, competency, and the effectiveness of her overall training regimen. The results I have realized have been nothing short of spectacular, particularly given my age. Unfortunately, posting before and after pictures on a public forum such as YELP, is not my style. That said, I offer my Inbody readings (https://inbodyusa.com) as evidence of the results that Michelle has helped me achieve. At first blush, the fact I only lost 2.6 lbs over three years, is not very impressive. One of the tenets of Michelle's coaching however is that weight loss is not an accurate indicator of fitness gains. The empirical data provided through Inbody speaks to that point and further proves that Michelle's program, if closely and consistently followed, will result in a complete body composition change. To wit, since I started working out with Michelle, I have added over 5 lbs of skeletal muscle mass, to go along with 9 lbs of lean body mass. In that same period of time I lost 11.5 lbs of Body Fat thereby dropping my body fat percentage 6 points (down nearly 25% overall). My strength, energy levels, sleep patterns, and physical appearance have all drastically improved. The same can be said of my self-confidence, drive, and commitment to physical fitness. Michelle recently moved to Los Angeles, ending our three-year run together. Were it not for her move, I'm confident we would have continued to train together for the next three years. I cannot give her a higher endorsement or greater seal of approval. If I could give her a sixth star or espouse a more enthusiastic and sincere recommendation of her training program I would. When I met Michelle, I had a dad bod. She gave me the knowledge, motivation and coaching to transform it into a father figure. I will forever be in her debt for the changes she brought about in my life. If you give her the opportunity, I'm confident she will do the same for you.

    I'm so glad I met Michelle because she has helped me change physically and mentally. Been struggling with weight loss for almost my entire life and she's helped me feel the most confident I've ever felt. I'm the kind of person that needs to be walked through everything and I never felt abandoned. Such a great coach and motivator. Our session was good, but I needed time to deliberate before moving forward - it was a bit commitment and I needed some time to reflect. The trainer got incredibly heated, first going on about how great his services were compared to everyone else and then shaming me for not committing on the spot and wasting his time. I let the trainer know that I am unemployed and rely on my parents for financial support, so I needed to deliberate with them before proceeding further. I felt belittled for communicating my needs, and received harsh criticism from the trainer about being "a waste of time." It should be noted that on the website, the first session is advertised as a "no obligation free workout." But the session took place in a paid gym. He paid for the day pass, which I was very grateful for, but upon completion, I refunded the money back. Still, I continued to receive verbal abuse from the trainer post session (see screenshot below) Final thoughts: don't offer no-commitment complimentary sessions on your website if you're gonna accuse people of wasting your time and shame clients. UPDATE: I've continued to be harassed by the trainer. Completely unprofessional.

The classes are very fun and beginner friendly yet challenging. Each coach has their own style of teaching and will go through different combo exercises and conditioning workout. The coaches adjust the level of difficulty based on the level of students that show up for that specific class. Regardless what the level of student, each class will guarantee an amazing workout that pushes the mind(learning different boxing skills) and the body. The gym is very clean and has a small free weights section attached to it. Not only can one improve his/her boxing skill, one can lift weights and get stronger and fitter as well. All coaches are very qualified. Some have been boxing for decades and some are pro fighters. I have taken some private classes. I had nothing but amazing sessions. The price is very reasonable as well. $150 for basic gym membership which includes all classes and all access to the entire gym. $250 is the next level up which is what I have. It includes two 1hr private sessions per months which is easily $200 plus at other boxing gyms. Also, a pair of hand wraps and boxing gloves will be provided when signing up. Another $100 value. Personally, I lost 25 lbs since I joined the gym and on my way to my first sparring session. Shark Boxing is just AWESOME!!! For anyone who is hesitating, don't. You won't regret join this gym.

I'm not old, but I'm not super young either, and I've started to become more prone to injury if I don't workout with the right form or try to ramp up too quickly. Gone are the days of easily waking up at 5am to sprint around my college campus without a care in the world. But, thankfully I found Francesca! I was at first skeptical of having a trainer via Zoom; I was convinced that I needed to have someone see and work with me in person. After a session or two however I realized that this was going to work great - with two kids and being a busy professional, Francesca was able to work with my schedule and meet me virtually where I was at, both fitness-wise and time-wise. I've been working with her for a few months now and feel WAY stronger and more fit than I did going into this - and thankfully, with zero injuries. I had a hip problem due to running for the past year that was not responding well to PT, and within a month of working with her I was able to run again, which was a huge breath of fresh air. I literally cancelled my remaining PT sessions because she was far more helpful than the PT folks who were working with me. Our sessions are focused and intense, with me warming up prior and then jumping into the exercises with her. A big plus is that many of the exercises in her repertoire require few props - at most, a chair or a set of 5-10lb weights.
