I am from Chicago and have experienced an authentic Chicago pizza pie. This restaurant has good deep dish pizza for a chain. I have been there a couple times for their happy hour. They offer happy hour prices in the early evening as well as late night after 10 pm M-F. I like to get the wings and the sliders off this menu. They also have a good selection of beers and these are also discounted during happy hour. The sliders are a small burger with cheese. The wings are flavorful and if I order both sliders and wings I am full and even able to take a box home. Such a good deal. I generally sit at the bar and have found the staff friendly, helpful and kind. The kind of people you would hang out with as friends. The restaurant decor is comfortable and tavern style. I love the pizza skins, it's the best item they have. I really love the meal deal where you can get two drinks, two pizzas, and an appetizer - it's a great value. I had been talking up this restaurant for so many years after experiencing it in Atlanta many years ago and there was one close to us in Las Cruces NM before it closed up so, it just happened to work out that we found it in Orlando. We arrive early enough before the 5pm crowd and we were promptly seated. Our server was awesome and we did inform her that it was a competition between UNO, Pequod's in Chicago and Giordano's here in Orlando as well... we started off with some Korean BBQ wings that were served nice and hot, juicy, crispy and yummy then the main star of the show was served. We ordered the Chicago Meats Deep Dish pizza and it was hot. It was very good and I ordered some Dave's Hot Honey on the side for me. It was very delicious but different from both others offerings. Pretty standard for a non-Chicago Uno. Pizza was good, and a large size was more than enough for 4 of us. We got the chicago special, which I believe was meatballs. It was tasty, although on the salty side. Also tried bang bang shrimp as a starter which were also nice, although I could not really taste much shrimp flavor. Fairly large beer menu... in fact the waitress did get confused when I ordered a Sam Adams, and she ended up bringing me one of the more expensive drinks instead. We stumbled in here after a long day at Universal. Cute and clean restaurant with a large bar area. They had the football game on so I got to sit and watch my Eagles play. The bartenders were great, friendly, informative, and funny. We sat at the bar and service was quick. They have a German-made beer on tap that my friend loves. The bartender told us that they make it in Germany at Epcot. He said that it is the only place in the United States that has the recipe. It was a delicious grapefruit beer, probably the best I've ever had and super refreshing. For food we ordered the seasonal salad, and the chef salad as well as a 10 inch Farmer's Market deep-dish pizza. Basil pesto topped with caramelized onions, fresh spinach, tomatoes, roasted eggplant, feta, mozzarella, and romano. Salads came out shortly, and were delicious. During a recent business trip to Orlando I found myself staying at a hotel behind Unos. Needing a quick lunch, that sounded like a great option. I haven't been to one in years, so was excited for some tasty deep dish! We walked over, and were surprised to see how empty the parking lot was for 12:30. We walked in and had to wait in the lobby for about 4-5 minutes before someone came to seat us, which was a bit odd considering how empty it was. But we were finally seated and a waitress came to take our drink orders. By the time she got back we were ready to place our orders. I got the Chicago Classic deep dish personal pizza. Food came out quickly, and they did not skimp on the sausage for a small 7" pizza that thing was loaded with big chunks of sausage. The pizza was packed full of flavor, and the deep dish crust was cooked to perfection, crunchy, but still flaky, not sure how they do it. I love deep dish, but had forgotten how filling it was. I'm ashamed to say I called it quits after only half the pizza, but didn't want to over do it, I still had a long afternoon ahead and didn't want to be in a food coma. Definitely wish I had an Unos near by? But glad I got a chance to visit us one. Only complaint is the lack of attention to customers coming in and waiting to be seated. Me and a group of friends went on a little pizza adventure while in Orlando and ended up at Uno Pizza. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled up, but I'm glad we gave it a shot. Our service was doubled as we had a young lady being trained with our table. They were bother very friendly and checking on us every minute they had. We kicked things off with a pitcher of margaritas. They had a Blue Reef and a seasonal watermelon margarita, both colorful and fun, but the Blue Reef won me over. It was sweet, refreshing, and the bonus of fishing out Swedish Fish candy made it even more enjoyable. For an appetizer, we tried the fried pickles. I was surprised to see they were battered pickle spears instead of chips, which I'm more used to, but they were great. Super crunchy with a bold pickle flavor that really came through. When it came to the pizza, we were spoiled for choice. They offer Chicago deep dish, Chicago thin crust (though I wish they had Cincinnati-style), and Detroit-style pan pizza. Our group split down the middle: half went with the deep dish, the other half with Detroit-style. I ordered the Imperial Pepperoni Detroit pizza, and it delivered. The cheese pull was legit, and the savory flavors were spot on. The crispy edges and layers of pepperoni made it a standout. The deep dish was loaded and cheesy too, but I wasn't a fan of the thick-cut pepper pieces in the "Almost Everything" version my friends ordered. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a nice woodsy vibe thanks to all the hardwood accents. It's hard to write a review of a big chain like this unless it's a bad one typically with very specific circumstances but this is not the case here. It's our tradition to get UNO's on the first night of our Orlando trips after driving in. It's typically late and they are open late always. We used to go to the location by Disney Springs but it's seems to have been torn down...? So this was where we landed this time and it was great. Came in at 10:45pm on a Wednesday night. Staff was fast and friendly. They let me have an extra chair for my bag so it wasn't sitting in the floor or table. Service was knowledgeable and didn't rush II at all despite the late hour. He also cut our pizza at the table while when a conversation with us, and wrapped it up for us as well. Also had the peach mule ( it my typical drink) expecting it to be quite sweet and syrupy (we had to check in and unpack at our hotel so a bit of a sugar rush was what I was going for) and it wasn't at all. Very refreshing. Sweet but not gross sweet. I'd order that again any day and May try to recreate it at home. It's so much fun! My wife and I enjoyed attending Uno's Pizza Making class recently at this location in Orlando. I wasn't sure what to expect, thinking it would be more of a pizza "decorating" class, but it was much more than that. It started with a brief but interesting history of how Uno's was started. I would normally find this boring, but it was interesting and not too long. Then we learned how to make the dough and had the chance to form our own dough for the individual pizza each attendee made. The dough is then cooked for about 6 minutes and comes back out where the pizza masters at Uno's share their magic on how they make their pizzas. For example, they don't place sauce at the bottom. Whut??? That's right, the sauce goes on top. Who knew? You build your individual pizza and enjoy a salad, beverage, and great conversation while it cooks. Just moments later, your individual masterpiece arrives, and your belly is rewarded! It's a really fun class, and if you are lucky enough to get Nick as your host, you are in for a real treat. To start my order I found out cheese is considered a topping when ordering a 3 topping pizza!!!! When did cheese become a topping counted against the toppings? So ordered a half cheese and half black olives, mushrooms, jalapeño, onion and green pepper. The server was awesome, he hooked us up and only charged us for 3 toppings! He was also very nice and responsive. A deep dish pizza takes 20 min to make. Thus the server tried to up sell us after we placed our order due to waiting. Maybe we would want an appetizer. Overall very pleasant experience. After our night out at SeaWorld decided for some pizza/ burgers. We tend to lean for gluten free experience due to of the health issues we have been going through. (Opting to eat at home mostly) I have had the bacon burger before with gluten free bun but was excited when I saw they had an option for gluten free crust and rave reviews online about it. Visited for my godson's 19th birthday. We started with Pizza Skins, deep dish pizza crust filled with mashed red bliss potatoes, bacon and cheddar. Sour cream on the side. They tasted fine, but definitely a lot of carbs. Not sure I would order them the next visit. We had a small Numero UNO® deep dish crust filled with sausage, pepperoni, onions, peppers, mushrooms, UNO's chunky tomato sauce, and freshly shredded mozzarella. The French Onion soup was half full and desperately salty probably because nobody is ordering it. The service was quick but impersonal. The side Cesar was simple and tasteless. My niece and brother-in-law came into town recently, for Disney of course, and they always come to Uno for their deep dish pizza. There is literally something for everyone here, no matter how picky their are. I started out with a simple app, the Cheesy Pesto Garlic Bread (Pizza dough topped with basil pesto, garlic, and our three-cheese blend, baked and served with housemade marinara). Simple, greasy, tasty. If the description sounds good to you, you'll like this. I forget exactly the topping combination my pizza was. It was probably full of meat. But my girlfriend got the opposite, which I got to try, the Farmer's Market (Caramelized onions, fresh spinach, sun-dried and plum tomatoes, roasted eggplant, pesto, feta, mozzarella and imported pecorino romano). After an 11 hour drive, we just wanted pizza and a beer. We were greeted by our waitress, Veronica, she was so sweet and really made a positive difference in how we felt after the drive. We started with an individual house salad, though usually a simple starter, this was delicious, a great start to our meal. I haven't been to an UNO Pizzeria in a while and I don't think I will be back, especially not to this location. The restaurant is located right on International Drive in the middle of a tourist area so you would think it would be maintained a bit cleaner than what it was. The dinning area and restrooms looked run down and were not as clean as expected. Plenty of parking Indoor and some outdoors seating. The food was ok, but our waiter (Gabriel) was terrible. As soon as he started greeting us and taking our order si knew it was not going to go well. He forgot 2 of the 3 appetizers we ordered, forgot 1/2 our drink orders (we were a party of 6). He didn't check on us to see if we needed refills, at one point we had to ask the individuals who brought our food out to get us refills. He didn't check to see if we needed anything or if we were good. Usually when I go to restaurants the staff clears some dishes and glassware when bringing new ones, for us the items just kept piling up on our table. The icing on the cake was when I asked for water and Gabriel brought me water in a broken glass, when I pointed it out to him he said "oh you broke it" and I replied "no you brought it out like that" .
