We did a half day tour that would bring you to at least 5 wineries. We were staying in Picton and were advised that there was no problem picking up and dropping off at our location. Cathie came to pick us up in a limo. She introduced herself and explained what the plan was for the day and gave us a map of the area. She was cheerful and friendly throughout our tour. We picked up 2 more couples and were brought to 5 wineries. Each one gave us a unique experience; there was a carbon neutral winery, one with an outdoor sculpture garden, another one with delicious cheese accompaniments and more. Since we were making good time, Cathie even took us to a 6th winery! We had a great time, and ended up buying a case of wine and some meats, cheeses and crackers from the different wineries. I would highly recommend this tour, and Cathie in particular.

Located on the lake with a spectacular view, it was perfect for our group of 8 doing a wine tour. We used the fire pit in front of our cottage and truly enjoyed our time here. Inside the cottage looks like it was renovated, well used though and it had a bit of a musty smell. We opened windows and that solved the issue. There was a huge table and good Size kitchen. All the beds were comfortable. No complaints. Great spot to enjoy the outdoors or chill out on a couch with cozy blankets.

I loved that he let me know there were SUP board rentals prior to when we arrived. The cottage itself is ideally situated: walking distance to a general store and antique shop, close to Sandbanks and water sports rentals. It's a great location for running, brewery tours and wine tours. The property is gorgeous, and the guest house is very well maintained (it feels like home). It looks like something out of a movie all decked out and decorated for Fall. The innkeepers, Suzette and Rogers were welcoming, warm and very friendly. I can't remember the name of the room I stayed in but I loved it. The mattress was firm just the way I liked it and the bathroom (which I shared with another guest) was spotless. The fluffy robe and the cold water bottles and hot coffee were greatly appreciated and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was more like a brunch than breakfast. I ate my breakfast while chatting with two guests from Germany. The entire experience and stay was most enjoyable and memorable. If I'm ever in that area again and in need of a place to stay I will definitely return.

It's really a very pretty area and would be much nicer if mgmt spent some money. The waters are clear and beautiful. Anyways, my review is for lunch at the restaurant which I thought was quite good. We had mussels, the meat pie, and the reuben sandwich and all were filling and tasty. Service was attentive. The only knock would be that the prices are a tad high but it is a vacation area so not too bad. Unfortunately, the restaurant is on the wrong side of the road to get a glimpse of the magnificent view down the mountain, that would be reserved for Miller pub but I don't think they serve any food. And there isn't much view of the lake on the mountain either cause it's not that close to the water. Overall, I would say it's a pretty good place to eat in Prince Edward county.

I had looked up a few taxi companies to make a reservation as my boyfriend and I had dinner reservations after our wine tour. I called the day before, and the driver said he was going to pull over to take my reservation (a good sign of safe driving). We were picked up the next evening on time. The driver was friendly, and a safe driver. We called him when we were finished, and luckily didn't have to wait very long for a ride back to our cottage. I would definitely recommend The Taxi Guy.

His voice was outstanding! Cons: The price is insane and not a great value for money. You will pay $1,000 per day. We ended up paying 2K for 1.5 days. For that price, we could stay in a Deluxe suite at the Shangri-La hotel in Toronto for 2 nights. The food was good, but for what we paid, it was not at all worth it. For example, for dinner the first night, we had burgers. As a foodie, I have had some over the top burgers-truffle, foie gras, pork belly, lamb, etc. These were normal burgers with a bunch of toppings they provided with salad. One day they did chicken tacos. Again for the price we paid, we should have had lobster tacos or filet. Also drinks were not included. There was a glass of wine at dinner. For the price, it should be all Inclusive or allow guests to bring their own and be able to drink in common places. Our friends there said the s'mores were not good and costed them $8. Also our friends got the pizza and it was $30. The pizza was like a microwave pizza. The place even has wood fire pizzas. Also I am not a big fan of breakfast and I organized with Nina the venue coordinator to have more of a brunch basket. The pita and crackers were stale and the guacamole was brown. It was left over from the burger dinner. The croissant was also burnt. We also felt like there should have been more. Maybe a snack or dessert. The food choices and quality did not reflect the price. Honestly for the price, everyone should have had private chefs and been able to order what they wanted. Another aspect was not having a lot to do during the day. We all ended up hanging out by the pool. There was a wine tour, but it was walking in the woods with wine, not an actual winery. It would be better if there was a tasting set up at each spot. Overall it was a beautiful place and we did have a lot of fun. We wouldn't come back unless the price was $300-600 per night. We don't see the value in how expensive it is.

The pictures do not at all do justice to the tents or the property. They were huge and so beautifully decorated. I honestly don't think you can go wrong no matter which tent you pick. We did enjoy the layout (being able to lay in bed and look straight out) and secludedness of Meadowlark slightly more than Canadiana, but again you really can't go wrong. After being on the property I would love to try Wildwood (the most secluded and with an outdoor shower), Huckleberry and Casablanca next. We arrived hungry, and they offered to deliver pizza to our tent, but we decided to sit on the patio by the Watering Hole instead. The wood fired pizza was delish. You can buy breakfast and dinner baskets, but they need to be ordered in advance. I had considered it, but decided not to, but will try it out next time. Otherwise we stocked up on food and snacks from the Foodland in town. I would recommend to pick it up all on your way- once we got there we didn't want to leave. We enjoyed the hot tub and played many of the lawn games - ladder ball, connect 4, corn bag toss, ping pong. There is just SO much to do and we didn't get around to it all - like the canoeing, paddle boarding/boating, massages will need to wait until next time. The property was lovely to walk around on. It would make an amazing wedding venue. We couldn't get over how stunning the entire property is. An absolute gem of a place. I also don't want to forget how fantastic all the staff were. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed and a small sitting area, and great blackout shades. The only issue is the room is that there was also a frosted window to the bathroom, and that had no shade on it. Parking is conventionally located behind the hotel- the staff has directions if the main lot is full. Overall a very good experience.
