I called on a Saturday and asked if they had availability and they said yes come on in. I hoped in…read morethe truck and was there in 5 minutes. They asked what I wanted and I showed them a picture of an actual tattoo...a hexagon geometric wrap around the forarm...all black work. I was told no problem but couldn't get it that day and I would have to pay a deposit and make an appointment. a day before my appointment, Mike the artist texted saying that the piece I wanted wouldnt work because my arm is "tapered".... I replyed back saying let's just do a solid band and I will think about the rest...fast forward...he tried to freehand the tat getting advice from another artist in the studio...they used a folded paper towel to mark dots... the band is different widths all the way around. I talked to the shop owner Steve and he said.."yeah those are hard to do".... If the piece was beyond their capabilities, they should of been honest upfront BEFORE taking my deposit. This piece will have to be repaired...as I have no choice but to walk around with visible trash work.

So I rescheduled it for Friday night but he blew me off again after me calling and messaging him for 3hrs only to have someone else answer his phone to tell me he went somewhere and left his phone. And so I messaged him to see if we could do it Saturday instead but no answer after still multiple messages and calls, and tried to reach him multiple times on Saturday as well. Finally, I was done trying...so I reached out to another tattoo shop to see if they could finish my tattoo for me as I would rather have a different artist with a different style finish it rather than have it incomplete. So... after I went to Redemption Tattoo Parlour to get a consultation and paid a down payment to get it finished he decided to message me with one word: yes. Like wth I've tried to get this finished but you keep either ghosting me or making excuses. Then on top of all that I've already paid him in full and tip: $500 in all. So I am not going to lose out on a another $60 because you decide to get back to me whenever you felt like it. I liked his work that is why I chose him, but I would rather have a artist who is actually going to finish what I paid them to do!!!
