As much as I enjoy Khalid's music, this doesn't really make for a very relaxing time, at least for me it doesn't. I was really perplexed, and after that I wasn't able to re-center myself and focus on being in the moment. My next issue is that I don't think they clean the rental mats between uses. I say this because when I returned my rented mat, the employee took it and placed it exactly in the pile where they first got it for me, not a separate "used/to be cleaned" pile. It was a bit concerning. Still debating if I should go back or not.

Paid 14 month membership for Cambridge pool and then Cambridge recommended using Dedham Atlantis pool. Paid for Cambridge location and not Dedham. Cambridge Atlantis will not give partial refund although paid 14 months and used only 4 months of pool. And, Dedham 25 minutes from paid membership of Cambridge. Atlantis Cambridge unresponsive and I sent over 10 emails and 5 voicemails and no response with any form of refund as they closed Cambridge. Poor customer service not giving refund...

The Dedham PF has been my "go to" gym the last 3 years and I'm finding myself disappointed with the equipment maintenance. The (2) rowing machines have not worked properly since at least September of 2024. The assisted pull up/dip machine has been out of service for at least 3 months as have (2) treadmills. Today there were (6) treadmills that were not functional and displayed error messages (I'm assuming these will be quick fixes). I reported the broken rowing machines a few times last year but that fell on deaf ears. I really enjoy the convenience of going to the Dedham PF in the early morning hours before work but in all honesty there are other options if you folks can't get your arms wrapped around this.

I've been doing work-outs with Isaac for the last 2 months and I love it; once a week with a group class with similar aged men and once a week in a private class. Isaac has a great facility and he is an excellent trainer who puts a lot of thought and effort into the workouts he plans for us. Issac designed two different routines for me based on the results of the diagnostics that he did with me at the beginning. Now I am coming in to work on those routines three times a week. There are four trainers at the gym. Even if you are working out on your own, they are always looking at you to see if you need help or feedback. All the trainers are fabulous and each of them knows your assigned routine as they have two meetings a week to review each client's progress amoung themselves. If I were looking to focus on losing weight, they are running classes in the evening to help with that. If you are able and willing to spend more money you will be working with a trainer individually which cannot be beat. If you are paying $150, you get a monthly training session with a trainer to review progress and adjust your routine. The place is small, not crowded. There aren't many machines as you use your own body weight a lot. In summary, fabulous place, go go go here, you will not regret it and it is a great investment in yourself and your health.

Went to the turf area for push sled and squat racks. Def has everything for the most part. Would come back again. Very spacious. Some of the machines seem to have quite a bit of years on them but as long as they work, it's all good. The locker rooms were huge, hot tub sauna and steam shower at this location, no cold baths that i saw. I think with the different tier solo and fam plans plus access to pool, hoops and unlimited classes, it makes sense it's cost, just wish it was lower like in some other markets (states) haha. I was very specific about the techniques and cut I wanted and was assured they could handle it. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had been switched to a "more experienced" stylist. Her previous client was unhappy with her color, so instead of focusing on my appointment, the stylist kept going back and forth, working on that client's color while also cutting my hair. She completely ignored me, barely consulted with me, and kept insisting the haircut I wanted "wasn't that hard," as if I was making a big deal over nothing. The result was a terrible haircut that was not what I asked for at all. At first I thought I might be overreacting and tried to give it time, but months later my hair is still completely messed up and uneven from that cut. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially before such an important event. Terrible customer service and I would not return or recommend this salon
