We didn't know what to expect from Polly Martini. We thought poor service may be the norm in this industry. We were wrong. So wrong... We will never use anyone else for our parties from now on. We had ~40 people for a casual house party with around 14 different entrees/dishes to be served, buffet style. Booking the service was efficient and professional and Polly called to confirm everything the day before the party. The day of, we were already behind schedule (there was an unfortunate incident with a mandoline slicer) when Polly's guy showed up. Tyler came in exactly on time, strapped on an apron, and started preparing and plating the dishes like he had been working in a Michelin rated kitchen all his life (this opinion was from my co-host who actually was previously a chef in a Michelin rated restaurant). He worked hard literally all night long. Not to mention he was a hit with ALL of our guests (at one point we had to ask them to stop pestering him so he could do his work). He explains each step in his instructions why he wants students practice certain move; meanwhile, he also encourages students to challenge some advance techniques making sure students won't get injured while do so. As parent watching the lesson aside, I also learned how to skateboard a bit by watching Coach Soloman teaching my daughter. Lol My daughter loves to go to Coach Soloman's skateboard class. She said she learned a lot from him.

I was already comfortable on a longboard on a flat surface with 4 wheels on the ground, but never skateboarded/ollied etc. In the first lesson, Soloman has put me at ease, demoed some moves and shared several tips so I could learn fast with different perspectives and build confidence towards taking more controlled risks. Quickly I could do my first kick turns, drop into light banks and do wide turns into quarter pipes. Then I got into steep banks & some transitions, and worked on my ollies, fakies, perfecting balance and polishing steep turns. Along the way Soloman was super encouraging and shared constructive feedback, and we were able to easily coordinate to meet at several skateparks in San Jose/Sunnyvale. You rock Soloman!

The Chisel-it Ice team passionately carved the most wonderful Olaf ice sculpture -- in color!!! The guests were in awe and could not believe he was pure ice! The set up was also perfect-- the sculpture came with a hidden drainage system and beautiful lights to make sure that Olaf was sparkling, shining and shimmering the entire evening. Olaf kept his magical shape for over eight hours! The bride and groom were beyond excited to have Olaf at their wedding! Such a wonderful business making dreams come true! Thank you, Bob!
