Took the family to try out a different ice skate instead of always going to Union Square. They have their own parking lot. One outdoor and small indoor ice skating area. Went in December so full of Christmas Decor and photo ops. The outdoor had plenty of seating area.

This was such a cool ice skating rink! We booked tickets in advance ($20 for admission and $6 for shoes) and the line to get in was like 10 minutes. The line went really fast and the workers were really nice. There were 2 rinks; 1 outside and 1 inside which was really unique and cool! We skated for 2 hours and had such a great time. I would come back!

Came here on a Thursday for their public skating session at 3pm. We bought the tickets online the day before, and on the day of, there was a sign outside the rink saying all public skating tickets were sold out. It was $25 per person, and skate rentals were included in the price. We felt that this price was on the lower end of outdoor public skating sessions. There was a large lot, so parking wasn't any difficulty, although each lane was a little narrow. Right when you walk into the lobby, you can check in and get your skates easily. After quickly lacing up and leaving your shoes under a bench in the open, you can head out the doors to the rink. We were greeted with a semi winter wonderland, with a large outdoor rink. There was a Christmas tree in the middle, with semi circle walls to grip onto it. Periodically, there would be fake snow falling shooting out from above, which definitely added to the holiday vibes. There is plenty of seating around this large rink for parents to sit on, or seating on the side of the rink for you to take a break. It seems like you can host events here, as I witnessed a birthday party in session. There were a lot of kids in the large rink during the time I went, but also in the small indoor rink next to it. These kids were doing lessons, if you're a parent interested in enrolling your kids. The ice at the big rink was scraped up and needed a fresh layer of ice; however, there were multiple young "lifeguards" around on ice to help you if you fell or needed skating tips. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at this rink. I was so happy to check this off my holiday bucketlist. The lovely ambiance and winter wonderland makes me want to return in the near future. Happy holidays!

Came here for my friend's daughter birthday party at three for two hours ice skating but according to my friend, she said she can't reserve the table and it's go by first come first serve basis. She went there one hour ahead. They have two ice skating areas. One is indoor, pretty much is for the beginners. One is in the outdoor for all levels. It's not a big ice skating place but I love their setting, decoration and they did maximize number of people. It won't feel crowded at all. They have two vending machines for hot drinks and snacks. They also had a heater on the pathway and you wouldn't feel cold. Staffs are friendly. :)

We visited on a Saturday night and we found parking right away, I did struggle buying the tickets on the last step with the payment on their online website but my boyfriend was able to buy them. It was $25 for the ticket for the 8-10 pm ice skating time and for renting the skates which was worth it. They had vending machines with coffee options and the heaters were on as we were leaving. It was beginner friendly, very cute winter decor, and an enjoyable experience, would recommend for a cute winter activity: ice skating session with friends!

Came for a girl scout event and it was pretty awesome. Stressful going in and getting out because everybody was trying to do the same thing at the same time. The staff were fast about giving out/exchanging skates. No staff person knew if there were those polar bear things to help girls skate so at first we were told no and then they were suddenly out so ehhhh communication issue.

Very festival place to be during the holiday season! Beautiful decor and a big Christmas tree in the center of rink. Public skating time is 3-5pm and 8-10pm. Holiday could be little differ, recommend booking ahead as they could be sold out. There is both indoor and outdoor area. Rink itself is not big, but with everything combined, it's still very nice. There are many sofa, picnic tables for seating 2 fireplaces too.

Even if it was raining, we still enjoyed our time. They have an indoor/outdoor experience. Fun adventure for the whole family. Looking forward to retuning again soon.

They don't have the support bears during the weekdays anymore. Without those, it's a lot more work and stress on parents.

We've been watching the Bank of the West Classic here for the past few summers and we've seen Serena Williams win the tournament twice. We've also seen Sharapova and Azarenka play. One year, we even watched exhibition matches between the great Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, and Jimmy Connors. We usually try to get seats in the 200s area. You have this great view of the players and the court. The tickets are around $80 range but we don't go to many sporting events, so I don't mind splurging for good seats for watching these matches. The bleachers are an inexpensive choice and the view is not bad. They're just not very comfortable. Make sure to bring a hat or a visor as most of the stadium is unshaded. It could get cold too when the sun goes down. Parking is $10 and you'll have to walk about 5-10 minutes to get to the stadium. There was a food vendor selling sandwiches like Pulled Pork (not very good), garlic fries (yummy!) and salads. There was also a kiosk selling coffee, tea, and pastries. In the past we've also brought our own food to eat on the picnic tables near the practice courts. This year, on the 4th day of the tournament, we got to attend the USTA Member Appreciation Luncheon at the hospitality area. They had hummus, crudités, lavash sandwiches, pasta salad, petit fours, fruit, and French Macarons. Everything was delicious. If you are a USTA member, make it a point to go next year!

Played a men's USTA league match the other day right at Foothills Tennis & Swimming Club. Arrived 45 minutes before the 11am match. Huge parking lot, surrounded by 10 foot hedge of trees blocking out any view of busy Foothill expressway. 7 lighted tennis courts, with benches and giant drinking jugs, with paper cups. Hopefully replenished daily! Nearby, a 75 foot swimming pool, suitable for lap swimming and swim contests. Beautiful clubhouse with plush sitting chairs for enjoying that drink after a hard fought tennis match. Went to the bathroom, opened the door, and a row of gleaming stalls over a spotless baby blue floor surface. Thought I had entered the ladies bathroom, and quickly hurried out, checking the sign on the door. No lady screaming, so I guess this is the right place. Exercise room and locker room for changing and taking showers. Very elaborate tiled shower room more suitable for a mansion. Tennis courts are blue and super fast. Built correctly facing north and south, but with no partitions between the courts. A ball could roll over three contiguous courts. Separate benches for each doubles team to sit on. At least one player is 80, and still has wheels for moving on that court. Another player makes me look thin, and I'm on the obese side! But he gets everything back that he can reach, and anticipates every shot you make. 90 minutes later, sweat running down my eyes, partially closed with stinging sun lotion from rubbing my hands over my forehead, I trudge off the court, and enjoy refreshments of Costco sandwiches and soda and beer with the locals. If you want the fancier food you got to play on a mixed doubles team with a woman captain! Was about to take a shower in the men's room, but there's a note that only members may shower. Got to trudge back to the oven like temperatures in the car, on this 82 degree March day, and stew in my own BO. There goes the new car smell in my 2017 Civic! $800 a quarter in maintenance fees. About on par with the other private tennis clubs in exclusive Palo Alto, where the median house price exceeds $3 million. But best high schools academically in California. I dropped off two rackets and explained to Mark, the new owner, that my racket hadn't been restrung in a year and my backup racket hadn't been restrung since 2023. I'm a flat ball hitter, so I don't normally break strings, but I needed more control. He was very nice and measured the tension of my backup racket and informed me that it was surprisingly still good to play with and didn't need to be restrung. Since it had been over 3 years, I told him to restring both of them anyway. Before I left, I asked how long it would take and Mark told me it would be 2 business days. The very next day, I get a text from Mark telling me that my rackets were ready for pickup! Unfortunately, they were closing at 3:45pm so I couldn't pick them up in time since I was at work. Mark was so kind and offered to deliver them to my house or work. I told him where I worked and he said he lived nearby so it wouldn't be a problem to drop them off. I was so impressed! He even showed up almost 30 min before the time he initially told me! He texted me the cost of the stringing, but also said that I could pay him via Zelle after he dropped off my rackets. Overall, the price of the stringing was probably slightly higher than other tennis shops that I've been to, but the service alone was outstanding!!!
