This use to be a quiet peaceful park. Now all you can hear is the pickleball court!! If you want to have a birthday party or event here don't! The pickleball courts are right next to the bbq's and tables and that's all you will hear. The noise pads that were suppose to dampen the sound actually made the court louder and bolder. The sound is not covered on top only on the sides and have been poorly installed. The residents that live near the court are pissed because all you can hear is the pickleball noise inside their homes. You can't go outside without having a headache now. Soccer, volleyball, baseball, and other sports do not penetrate into your home! Pickleball does even with all the doors and windows shut in your home. Not enough is being done to litigate sound reduction. There quality of life has juristically changed for many residents and people who come to the park daily. Requesting permanent removal of the Saratoga pickle ball court for everyone's sanity. Thank you for listening. read more

This park has 2 pickleball courts, a community garden, nice public bathrooms, a gorgeous big green lawn, drinking fountains and places to fill up your water bottle. It's good for walking and exercising in a gentle way lots of squirrels and sweet gentle dogs. People are chill. Good place to come and be healthy read more

Beautiful park but wayyyy to many people treat it like a dog park. Currently 8 dogs off leash with absolutely no recall and no manners.

We had a relaxing evening here today. It was nice to be out in great weather. There were several groups practicing soccer, families enjoying the playground and folks walking their dogs. I had a nice run circling around the park before heading out. read more

I have often seen dogs here without a leash. Last week when I asked a dog owner to put on his dog's leash he was VERY rude to me, made some nasty comments, kept yelling, and then followed us around the park with the dog unleashed and racing all over the grass. We felt completely unsafe and harassed and cut short our visit. When politely asked, a dog owner always says, "Oh, my dog would NEVER bite." Nobody cares, dude. Just leash the animal. El Quito Park - Our friends! - Playgrounds Near Me - Saratoga, California

We recently discovered this hidden gem and it has since become one of our girls (5 & 8) favorite parks. There are play structures for the big kids and little kids in addition to swings. Also there is a huge open grassy space in the middle where during the week kids are taking soccer practice. There are a number of picnic tables, BBQ grills and a bathroom. There is also a walking loop that surrounds the park, a dog park, and a volleyball court. It is clean and well maintained. In all of our visits it has never been overly crowded. This park has a lot to offer and is a great place for some fun family time! read more

Go to this park a lot for bbqs and soccer. Great park. The field is actually nice and well maintained. If someone tells you they booked the field and you booked it too, tell them to show the paper. The city doesn't usually make mistakes like these. Had a good time eating some hotpot during the weekend. Surprisingly wasn't busy. This place actually doesn't get too packed. But always a go to for bbqs and what not. read more

Part of me wants to give this place a lower review for the sake of crowd control in the summer (keep a secret a secret, y'know?). However, I just love you guys too much to do that so I'm being honest. I think this is a great park - giant green field, convenient bathroom (this is a big deal if you have kids, which is likely if you're going to this kind of park but if you're 22 and just really like playgrounds, I won't judge you...), two play areas, and picnic tables/bbq setup. What's not to like? I do agree that the bigger playground is a little scary if you have a rambunctious 3 year old who wants to play on the big toys. Just keep a close eye as it's cool but definitely intended for an older audience. read more

Disagree with previous review. There is ample parking. One just needs to park next to the church parking which is located on Saratoga avenue (there is even a sign "El Quito Park Parking"). It is right next to the church. Never once in the past 9 years have I been unable to find parking at El Quito Park in Saratoga. Anyhow, this is my favorite park. You know why? It is almost never crowded. There are two play structures. One is for older kids that has monkey bars and a few slides. Also has a few swings, two regular, bigger-kid ones and two for babies. The other side has a toddler structure with small stairs and faux rock climb and a few slides as well. Also there is a sand box. The best part of the park though is the ample shade given off by the 100s of mature, large majestic trees there (we know there is over 100 because my daughter and I counted one time). The trees also make a great hide n seek area. read more

The swings.... are ear drum busting horrible. There's tagging on the play structure. Garbage on the tan bark. The kids and I often go hunting for new parks. First time at this one and we've been to way better. I mean, I can't imagine the city of Saratoga being unable to buy wd40 and a sponge. read more

Great park, hidden gem! I've been coming here since I was a kid. (I got one of those big styrofoam airplanes stuck on the roof of one of the adjacent office buildings.) It's clean and has a great playground for the kids (although, you have to really watch the little ones on the big play structure, it's pretty high). Lot's of grassy area as well. read more

Great park! My co-worker rented out a bbq area with 2 tables. I believe they said it is about $15 an hour. Pretty big, with many different playground areas for kids of all ages. Many areas for BBq's there were 3 going on including ours. There is also a sand volleyball area and a horse shoe area, Plus lot of open green grass! I was thoroughly enjoyed with the space and how well it was kept clean. The only downfall, it is very warm in this are and most people are going to be wearing sandals or open toed shoes, considering especially it is summer time and the ground to walk on is SOO dusty. My feet were GROSS at the end of the day. The playgrounds have wood chips, and there is the big grass area, but I think that it would be so much better if the walking area was covered.. not even having to be cement, but maybe wood chips or gravel, it would just make it a total 5 star experience for me if they were to have better walking areas. read more

This is a nice park in a quiet part of town. We came on a Saturday afternoon and there was only 1 other kid here. The grass area in nice for running around and flying kites (the trees are on the borders), the bathroom was clean (although, for smaller children, they will need help getting on the toilets, as they are kinda high up), and the 2 playground were perfect for bigger kids and smaller kids. There are picnic tables scattered around and plenty of shade. This would be a perfect park for a birthday party. Reservations for the picnic areas are $15/hour and the volleyball courts and horseshoe pits can also be reserved. I thought it was cool that there were also chess tables in the park. Try to park at the church on Saratoga because on the other side of the park, parking is limited! read more

In West San Jose area, El Quito Park and San Tomas Park are the two closest parks in the neighborhood. This park is especially child friendly with a nice play area and located right next to a large church. Within this park, there is a walking loop that surrounds the entire park and offers convenient self-paced option for daily exercises. It is located right on Cox Ave in Saratoga and is near a small area of diners and other amenities. In terms of flavors, San Tomas Park has more large trees and shades whereas this park is slightly bigger and good for walking. Come for a visit! read more

Very family friendly park. In fact, you'll run into a lot of families if you come here, especially on weekends. In the afternoon, there are often soccer practices for kids. And many people bring their dogs here too. However, if you prefer a quieter and less crowded park, go to azule park or Kevin Moran park, which are only 5 minutes away by car! This park is most crowded in the afternoon on weekdays. Other times are quiet! read more

This park has a large long grassy area lined with trees on one side. There's also a tennis court and play structure. A trail follows along the creek into the neighborhoods behind the park, along a Nicole shady path. The park is dog friendly and has a few posts with dog bags to pick up after your animals. There are a few picnic tables and BBQs in a shady area. read more

This park is so cute. Me, my sister, and grandpa went here on a weekday around 11:00 and 12:00 not busy at all I was very surprised. But there's stuff for me and my sister to do even though I really do think I would break some of the equipment I still play on the play structure . Lots of space for my grandpa to sit at still awesome for studying I come here with my school projects and friends. Awesome job at maintaining the park . read more

A nice local park. I just wish there were more swings. The play structure is great and my little sister loves it. The field is mostly occupied by sports but the farther side closer to the play structure is free. They have bathrooms, water fountains, benches. Overall, not my first choice for a park, but a wonderful local location. read more

The park is very good, we had our daughter's birthday and it was great. Only thing I hate is dogs are unleashed and they run around everywhere. Sometimes they come to you and bark. Some of the dog owners don't care and they'll have dog dates on the ground. I am scared of dogs and I don't feel secure talking a walk alone. The rules clearly states that dogs should be on leash EVERYTIME still some people don't follow the rules which is very bad. read more

Nice little park for a 2 year old's birthday. Too bad the weather wasn't nicer, but in the summertime it would be awesome. Small playground for 2-5 and bigger one for 5-12 years old. Clean restrooms, parking next door at the church and plenty of picnic tables and garbage cans for cleanup. read more
