I typically like more a of a medium but restaurants typically overcook steak so I went a little less. Now this steak was barely seared on the outside and was cool and purple inside. That was a RARE steak. We joked that it was still mooing. I was waiting for the server to come back so o could have them throw it back on for a bit but she never even made eye contact with our table. No refills on drinks or anything. When she finally returned I had eaten all my veggies and potato so I was full and asked for a box. I cooked the steak at home for a few minutes and had to add a decent amount of seasoning. I don't think we will be returning to Quincy's again.

She asked them to make it with Mozzarella instead of cheddar and they accommodated her request with a great sandwich. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming and the staff was perfectly attentive and incredibly nice! If you find yourself in this part of the UP, you have to visit!

I first visited last year and couldn't get over how good their coffee was. I've been chasing a very specific coffee flavor ever since my favorite spot in Eagle River (RIP Mocha Moose, for those who remember) closed down years ago, and Gigi's is the first place that's come close to recreating it. I'm not sure what their secret is, but whatever they're doing, it's delicious. They use Monin syrups, which I love, and the staff is always so friendly. Both times I've ordered the Eskimo Kiss with oat milk, and it's genuinely fantastic. They also serve their drinks in the cutest cups! You can tell they put thought into the details, and it really adds to the experience. If you're in the area, stop by after grabbing a bite at the iconic diner just down the street. Gigi's is absolutely worth the visit!
