Each building you can walk inside to see the animals. They have staff do feedings at different times. We watched them feed a 16 year old sheep as well which was super cool. They had little baby animals too and it was so much fun watching them eat. I did see that they do cow feedings as well at 10am but we didn't make it to see if it was happening. When we entered, it said that it was part of metroparks. They didn't have anyone checking passes because it was a field trip that was covered. They have a sitting area covered and a small little play park next to it as well. They do have a building with bathrooms inside if needed.

We had been misinformed via LittleGuideDetroit that there was horseback riding and that in fact, seems to be down the street? In the end, we left with some peacock feathers, fresh goat milk soap and some flavored honey sticks.

We reserved Bonfire No. 7 for a perfect fall night for four hours. Three Cedars Farm is definitely an attraction in Northville complete with bonfires, hayrides, a corn maze, and of course apple cider and donuts! The bonfire was a great spot to hang out, put up a tent, grill some burgers and hot dogs and make s'mores. The staff periodically would come by on a cart to drop off more wood. The hayride was a nice short ride from the front of the farm to the back of the farm where the corn maze is located. Tip: I recommend that you bring flashlights and/or lanterns for when the sun goes down to enjoy your bonfire area. There is no light in the corn maze and you will resort to using the flashlight on your phone to try to find the Christmas tree stations in the maze. Don't forget to keep track on the corn maze postcards to turn in at the Donut Hut to be entered into a drawing. The only drawback are teenagers hiding in the corn maze jumping out at people in the dark. I hope no one gets hurt and this continues to be a place for adults and children alike. Also note the Donut Hut closes at 8pm although we were at the bonfire until 10pm. So get your share of cider and donuts early. I think the value of experiencing fresh donuts with hot apple cider sitting around the bonfire was perfect and worth every penny. I would like to go back next fall. Their current attraction is The Country Store complete with photos with Mr. & Mrs. Clause in Santaland for a limited time.

There are sometimes six horses in one indoor ring at a time with three different instructors. It's a mess. As a returning rider, I had a lot I needed to learn again and lots of muscle tone to build. When I asked them about riding a different horse that I could learn more on--just while I got my muscles and skills back--they were unsympathetic. I recognize that school horses are not known for being amazing, but that's not what was going on here. There were easy horses--I just wasn't riding them on a consistent basis. I put off writing this review because I wasn't fully convinced that they were the problem--I thought maybe my expectations were off. Unfortunately for them, I have gone on to have an INCREDIBLE experience at a different barn. I feel like I can unequivocally say now that this is not where you should spend your money. In fact, in my experience, they will treat you like they don't want your money anyway. Sorry about the bad review. I hope you will treat the next people better.

The only thing about CGPA that could be improved is the pool stairs. They're not built-in and can be a bit difficult for swimmers with mobility issues. I'd love to see permanent stairs be added to the pool and perhaps one of those lifts that are becoming more and more common at pools.

The accessible lakeside is shallow. Along the lake you will find benches to rest at or fishermen young and old. The onsite restrooms and water fountain were super helpful! Sylvan Glen Lake Park is a great spot to spend for the day or even stop on the way home from work for a fresh breath of air!

My son had a great time, but was definitely timid at times. This is a great structure for him to grow and learn. There is also a playground specifically for those in wheelchairs, etc. I love to see the inclusive design to allow all children to enjoy the playground. Nearby, is a pavilion with indoor bathroom facilities. They are very clean and well-kept.

I hate writing bad reviews, unfortunately when you go somewhere with a uncaring staff and you try talking to them about the incident that happened and they still don't care, I was left with no choice. Last Saturday my husband and I took my 2 year old granddaughter to the farm. Upon entering, my granddaughter and I walked over to the pond where all the ducks were walking to. As we walked over to the pond, I stepped on a small board with 3 nails in it. Trying to stay up beat and smiling so my grand daughter would not freak out, I hobbled to the picnic table that was right next to the young man stamping every ones hands as they entered. I took off my shoe and watched the blood flow freely to the ground. My husband alerted the young man and showed him the small board and ask if we could have some help. You know, some band aids, gauze, or any kind of first aid. The young man took the board and went to the ticket booth and gave it to the people in there and that was it. They didn't seem to care. All they wanted to do was continue collecting their money and that was it. So I continued sitting on the picnic table and continued to bleed on the ground. My husband went the ticket booth and spoke with the two people inside and still nothing. Finally, 2 women that were there from early education brought me their first aid kit and helped me out. After I got the bleeding to stop, I went to the ticket window myself and asked to speak to the farm manager. The woman in the booth said it was her. I told her what happened and said how dangerous that could of been if a little kid would of stepped on it and she looked at me like I was an idiot. All she said was "Wow. They raked this morning." I have tried to get in touch with the management team and was told the owner would be contacting me. Nothing. I just can't believe that a farm that has school field trips, camps, and over thousands of visitors every year does not have a first aid protocol. No incident report. Nothing! So anyone who goes to this farm be vary careful. Because even if something happens, the staff really don't care and only want your money. read more

Upland Hills Farm has been a treasure in Oakland County since 1960 - my kids love going to the farm - and when I was a kid I loved it as well. I appreciate that this family owned business blends education & fun while teaching kids compassion for other living beings. My girls went to the farm's summer day camp - I NEVER had problems waking them in the morning - they were always ready to go because they knew they were going to the farm! The Fall Harvest Festival weekends have also become a family tradition for us. read more

You'll find a two headed turtle, a blind snake, a few albino reptiles including an albino alligator and so much more. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they took their time talking with us and interacting with anyone who had questions. Petting and holding the reptiles really made the experience fun for the kids. The stacked habitats were too high to see what was in all of them. The lower ones were good enough for me to peer into..... Hairy spiders. The aquarium side had a huge jelly fish tank that let you change the colors of the lighting with the press of a button so you could see them glowing in the different colors of the water. There were sting rays, small sharks, axolotls, unique looking fish and much more. It's jam packed at every turn with creatures big and small and for all ages to enjoy. Their gift shop is nice with lots to choose from. From stuffed animals large and small to little tokens in every price range. It's definitely a fun and educational place to visit. So if you're looking for a place that the entire family can enjoy, this is the place to go for both the young and young at heart.

The second time around we brought our 7 month old daughter & although she's little, she absolutely loved it! She was extra fascinated by the turtles near the entrance but her favorite was definitely the stingrays!! The workers were so sweet, one even picked up a turtle to hold it up closer to her. We ended up booking and delighted how things turned out. The wedding and reception were planned together. What happened next was immeasurable. The day before the event we walked the grounds with Lois (staff) and how things were to be done. All this to accommodate the wedding party, staff, photographer and more. The ladies were able to use a special room to get ready the day of, completely with snacks and Mimosas and more. The guys, well we came ready, so the bar was open. The grounds for the outdoor wedding was clean and ready, the great weather made it even better. After the ceremony we were isolated for pictures that were ready before we even had to ask. All while our guests enjoyed the open bar and time to mingle. The food as many of our guests said was the best and largest presentation ever. The salad bar was huge and a lot of varieties for all. Our main courses were the Chicken Picata, Pasta, Salmon, breaded Shrimp, Prime Rib(carved) and a lot more. Not one complaint or issue. Later that night, sliders were served. If you went away still hungry, you may have a issue. At the end of the night, the staff helped us cleaning up, specifically our hand made centerpieces, all with a smile. This place is worth the drive with a beautiful backdrop of a well maintained grounds and talented and well trained staff.
