Welcome to the family owned Three Cedars Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze! Three Cedars Farm was a great place for a sorority outing! We reserved Bonfire No. 7 for a perfect fall night for four hours. Three Cedars Farm is definitely an attraction in Northville complete with bonfires, hayrides, a corn maze, and of course apple cider and donuts! The bonfire was a great spot to hang out, put up a tent, grill some burgers and hot dogs and make s'mores. The staff periodically would come by on a cart to drop off more wood. The hayride was a nice short ride from the front of the farm to the back of the farm where the corn maze is located. Tip: I recommend that you bring flashlights and/or lanterns for when the sun goes down to enjoy your bonfire area. There is no light in the corn maze and you will resort to using the flashlight on your phone to try to find the Christmas tree stations in the maze. Don't forget to keep track on the corn maze postcards to turn in at the Donut Hut to be entered into a drawing. The only drawback are teenagers hiding in the corn maze jumping out at people in the dark. I hope no one gets hurt and this continues to be a place for adults and children alike. Also note the Donut Hut closes at 8pm although we were at the bonfire until 10pm. So get your share of cider and donuts early. I think the value of experiencing fresh donuts with hot apple cider sitting around the bonfire was perfect and worth every penny. I would like to go back next fall. Their current attraction is The Country Store complete with photos with Mr. & Mrs. Clause in Santaland for a limited time. read more

Three Cedars Farm was voted #5 in this year's Vote 4 the Best in the cider mill category, and honestly, I am a bit baffled. First, this place seems very geared towards kids. Being here during the week was a blessing, as I could observe the almost Disney like nature of the farm. It's like a smaller version of Canterbury Village lol. While the service was very good, their apple cider is probably the worst I've ever tried. Too much like apple juice, lacking in flavor. However, their caramel apple? 20/10 legit the best caramel apple I've every tried, so fresh! They don't try to thwart the bees in the cute seating area, so I had to melt in my car to finish the apple. I'm surprised having lived in Canton for many years I never heard of Three Cedars, and now I am not surprised at all. If you do find yourself here, get a caramel apple! read more

This was my first time visiting and they've done a fantastic job organizing the fall events for customers from tractor rides, large rental spaces for a private party with bonfires, yummy donuts, delicious cider, many types of pumpkins for purchase, and a petting zoo. I stop by Three Cedars Farm every fall. I love the small gift shop with so many Halloween items. The donuts and cider are delicious and better than nearby cider mills. Now the bad. Everything is insanely overpriced as of October 2024. A dozen donuts for $11. Half a gallon of cider for $9. A tiny cup of hot cider for $4. It's highway robbery. There is a 3.99% credit card processing fee, so bring cash if you don't want to be further ripped off. Lastly, I was attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets. I was followed from the store to the parking lot. People are carrying around sweet donuts and cider so the yellow jackets are swarming everyone coming out of the store. I decided to leave and the yellow jackets followed me from the store to the parking lot. I don't want to return until the infestation is controlled. read more

Three Cedars Farm is a fun place to visit. The cost of the hay ride is $10 for the family and $5 each for the corn maze. I think that is very reasonable prices. The donuts and cider in my opinion is price gauging. However I realize this is a seasonal business. With that being said, as crazy busy at it was and how important fall traditions are for families, I really feel that Three Cedars Farm could invest in flushing toilets in the bathrooms!! I find it a huge problem for my family. Running water and flushing toilets are important. Also, the talking jack-o-lantern was creepy! The place was pretty clean considering the amount of people there and there is a lot to do. The goats in the petting farm were adorable! There was a corn pit for the kids to play in, a plyground, small train and merry-go-round. Lots of photo ops! The old telephone booth was a favorite spot. There is a very nice gift shop as well. Great spot for families and kids! A little overcrowded for my personal preference, but was glad to be able to check it out. There's a lot of "sets" and some "production" here and there as well. Lots of photo spots for people interested in getting in some cute fall pictures. There's a pumpkin patch, hay ride, mini train and carousel for kids, a small petting farm where you can feed cows, goats. The store on site was unique - stuffed with Halloween decor and knickknacks. Donuts and cider are available at their "Donut Hut". It had a line, but the line moved fast and was well organized. Grabbed a half gallon of cider and half dozen donuts to go. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN We sat outside by the petting zoo after getting some cider and donuts. We attempted to eat while wasps and bees flew in my kids and wife's face at least every 15-30 seconds. So we moved inside where the wasps/bee's couldn't get us or so we thought... a wasp got stuck in my daughters hair and stung her multiple times and in the commotion right after some wasp or bee caused some poor girl to spill her very hot cider all over herself and my son. It's really a bummer this happened I looked around the area and didn't see a single bee trap or anything attempt to mitigate the wasp/bee problem if you wanna go make sure it's too cold for the bees. read more

Always a good "old fashioned" time. Exactly what it should be, no pretenses. Arrival and parking was easy. Staff was clean cut, cheerful and helpful as always. Cider was expensive at $11, but donuts were totally worth 12/$12. Hay ride was great, driver was enjoying his job. Corn maze was also a good time. Scavenger hunt made it even better. Place is infested with bees/wasps, and no matter where you go, the bees will follow. Also, was there on a busy Sunday, and the women's restrooms were disgusting--porta-potties disguised as bathroom stalls and filled up to the top. They're now charging an extra 4.99% on credit card purchases, so bring cash. Donuts are also now overpriced and more than other cider mills. The Halloween store is fun, but their selection of candy is nothing like it used to be. read more

This farm has tons of fun activities like hay ride, apple orchard, petting farm, stand alone trains and playgrounds. They have activities for the whole family and which is why we decided to give it a try. The place was over crowded with many people not wearing masks. It was very disappointing to see them not following the social distancing strictly. They only accept cash and cheque inside the farm so come prepared. They do have ATMs in the farm but one near the Cider & donut hut wasn't working. They also had a drive through to pick up donuts. Plenty of parking space and seating area to accommodate everyone. They had appointed employees with flags to direct the cars to the parking space. We never got down from the car seeing the crowd. We just drove through the farm and came out as fast as we could. I wouldn't recommend going to such crowded places during this pandemic without following safety protocols. read more

It's always my favorite time of year. Fall and cider mills go together like peanut. Butter and jelly like mom used to make. Three cedars farm and cider mill has something for the oldest to the youngest customers. I loved so many things they have to offer here. Great cider and fresh donuts variations. I prefer the cinnamon of course. Three cedars has a large location but what they've done with the large slate patio is nothing short of Pinterest worthy. It's roughly 40x30 in size and has multiple seating areas and tables with a grand fireplace and huge fire pit. It's like a oasis of its own. 5 stars isn't a high enough honor. The gift shop and nostalgia antiques made me feel like a kid again. That youthful excitement and surprise around every corner of the shop made my night even more special. The staff could see the happiness it brought to they're customers for sure. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful as well. Covid practices are in play here and well done. The cider and donut building is pleasant and rustic just like it should be. Walk the grounds and enjoy all the nature and animals. This is a true gem and I highly recommend you give them a try. My family and I have been there a few times now with my almost 2-year old. He absolutely loves the animals and the fake cow that can be "milked". It's always busy and parking can be a bit of a challenge. The parking lot is just an open field with lots of dips so it's best to drive slow. But besides that and the moderately overpriced doughnuts & tickets, it's a good place to take your kids. read more

First time here and enjoyed our grief visit. Here is the breakdown of our experience: Parking: muddy in spots but ample Pumpkin selection: great! No super large pumpkins but that's good, I don't want to move one the size of a small elephant. Refreshments: surprisingly they only take cash or check. Thankfully there were some ATMs on the property cuz we never carry a check on us, let alone much cash. Donuts: hubby liked them a lot but he got to them while they were warm. I did not get one until the next day after we went to Three Cedars so it was a little less fresh. Caramel apple: I loved my caramel apple as it was an Empire apple and not Granny Smith. I love softer sweeter apples. Nite: they do not have disposable knives to cut the apple nor will they cut it for you. Bummer for me as I can't bite into an apple while it's whole due to dental work,,.thankfully hubby took one for the team and started my apple for me. Bees/wasps: a lot of them. I have a severe allergy to them so I had to ditch my caramel apple as it was attracting them. Not an issue unique to Three Ciders - I was hoping it was overcast enough that they would not be out in droves. read more

Three Cedars is such a good time even a little rain doesn't ruin the experience. We love this place. Their country store is adorable, and an experience in itself. I love the decorations and interactive Halloween displays. Their trinkets and gifts are adorable. The kids got some old fashioned candies and I purchased cute black cat and witch hat lawn ornaments for the holiday. Once Thanksgiving hits the store transforms into a Christmas wonderland gift shop with equally wonderful gifts. I've stopped here to shop for family. Remember to bring cash, they don't accept credit cards, but this store is a destination worth the trip filled with treasures. Their kids play area combined with live animals and animatronics rivals Blake's fun land and is absolutely free, a must see for fall cider mill lovers. For a small fee they have a train ride, hay ride, and corn maze. My daughter goes crazy for this place, it really brings the festive season to life. They have tons of places to relax, like their fire pits and outdoor fireplace. They sell hotdogs and chips outside. Inside they sell the traditional donuts and cider. We had the cider slush, our fourth one this season. It definitely ranks on top with its sweet flavor and texture of a granita. Their prices are in between the two cider mill price extremes. They offer plenty of indoor seating which sets their place apart from most. There were no bees today due to the rain, but the indoors area provided a reprieve from all conditions. They have a pumpkin patch and many well priced pumpkins for sale. I've been buying baby pumpkins for the kids since they were babies and bought our first ones for the year today. This place is a tradition for our family for a reason, and a must do on the cider mill list. read more

I visited Three Cedars Farm this year and I think it's my favorite cider mill now! It's located in Northville off of Six Mile. I went a couple times this year, once on a busy Saturday in October and another time on a Tuesday afternoon. I'd suggest going on a weekday as it got super busy on the weekend. Parking was a cinch both times. It was literally the easiest parking I've ever seen at a cider mill! On the busy Saturday at Three Cedars there was a parking attendant directing cars where to park. When you drive around to the back, there is a ton of parking. I parked really close, right at the end of the aisle and it was super easy getting out and leaving too. There's a ton of stuff to do and look at here. They have a corn maze, hayride, petting zoo, a train for the kids, pumpkin patch, bonfires in the back that you can rent, and super cute general store with holiday decorations. The main attraction of course are the donuts and cider and both are sooooooo good! The cinnamon sugar donuts are so good and loaded with sugar and cinnamon and have more sugar cinnamon coating than most cider mill donuts. They're definitely up there as one of my top favorite cider mill donuts. The cider was also very tasty and delicious. The cider slush was just ok though and I wouldn't order it again. After a few sips, it's all ice so I'd stick with cider for the future. You stand in line for donuts and cider at the donut hut. When I came at 1:30 pm on a Saturday the line was already a little long but not terrible and we waited about 10 minutes which really isn't bad as I've waited 30 minutes at some other cider mills. When we were leaving at around 4 pm the line was huge though, all the way to the street. When I came on a Tuesday it was pretty dead and there was absolutely no line and I walked right up and got my donuts and cider with no wait. Everything is cash or check only and they don't accept credit cards. Donuts are $9 for a dozen, $7 for a half dozen, and $2 for a single. Cider is $10 for a gallon and $7 for a half gallon, $3 for a glass or hot cider and $4 for a slush. It makes the most sense to purchase a dozen donuts or a gallon as it's only a couple dollars more so that's what I did. They give you your donuts at the counter and napkins and cups for your cider and you pick out your cider in a cooler to the left of the counter. If you want to purchase tickets for the hayride or train ride, you purchase them here as well. There is a really nice seating area in the middle in a little gated courtyard with a large round fire pit, fireplace with rocking chairs, and bench seating around the area. On the busy Saturday this area was full but when I came on a weekday it was empty so we scored seats by the fire pit which was really nice. We stayed warm by the fire and there were less bees in this area as it seemed the fire was keeping them away. There's also plenty of seating throughout the mill with picnic tables to the left of the general store and a covered tented area with picnic tables in the area where the petting zoo and things are. On the Saturday we sat in this tented picnic table area. After eating delicious donuts we explored and there are a ton of photo ops! There's a cute pumpkin patch area to the right in the front of the cider mill where the hayride begins and there are two cute haystack areas for photo ops. They also had photo ops throughout the cider mill with tractors, scarecrows, pumpkin filled trucks and more. We actually saw an entire wedding party taking their wedding photos here. The general store is cute to walk through too and had lots of elaborate Halloween and Christmas decorations that actually move. Not much to actually buy in the general store other than pumpkin and apple butters, candles, some jewelry and you can also pick out candy. In terms of the pandemic, they had hand sanitizers throughout the cider mill, and I saw people spraying and cleaning tables. They also had a drive-thru for cider and donuts which was nice. A couple friends didn't want to stand in the huge line so we walked up to the drive-thru as we were leaving and they let them purchase cider and donuts there to take home with them without having to wait in a huge line which was nice. Seating is currently closed indoors. It did get super crowded on the weekend though so I'd definitely suggest going on a weekday to avoid crowds if you can. There are no pets allowed. During Fall they're open from 10 am - 10 pm Friday and Saturday and 10 am - 8 pm Sunday through Thursday. I really enjoyed this cider mill. It's really big with lots to explore and the cider and donuts were very delicious. I'll definitely be back next year! They're starting Christmas hours soon on November 27th with Donut Hut and tree sale hours Friday and Saturday 10-8, and Sunday 10-5. They'll only be open on the weekdays for wreaths and trees. They'll also have Santa with social distanced photos on the weekends. read more

It's always a nice time when visiting Three Cedars Farm. The people here are a lot of fun and the goings on here are interesting and fun. There are plenty of things for the children to do. Be prepared to make the rounds a couple of times because each circuit will lead to new discoveries and fun things to do. I appreciate the special things they display for the different seasons. The last time we went her was for Halloween and Thanksgiving. The gift shop was like walking into another time. I got lost in the displays and things for sale and enjoyed my time in there with family, especially the kids. The farm itself is interesting. We didn't go on the hay ride this time but did pick up some very nice pumpkins for carving. I wish I had more time because they had such interesting shaped and color pumpkins and squash. Great place to take children. Plenty to do, take plenty of cash, almost everything costs money, the parking was free. We came on a weekday, and their was a decent sized crowd. The weekends are insanely crowded. The apple cider is some of the best I have ever had. Really enjoyed the apple cider doughnuts as well. We bought tickets for the hayride to the corn maze. It is about 300 yards down the trail. We also bought tickets for the corn maze. They give you cards to get punched at three different stations hidden in the corn maze. Having something to do definitely keeps you walking around the maze longer. After getting all three punches, we headed out. There is a gas fireplace with chairs around it, which we used to catch a break. The restrooms were not that clean, but there were plenty of stalls. Three Cedar's Farm is an awesome Cider Mill! They have the best cider slushees and donuts (in my opinion) beautiful seating areas, and a general store. I'd also like to mention that they have a nice play area, petting farm, hayride and pumpkin picking area. The grounds are always clean, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are fair. Even though this cider mill has a lot of child friendly activities, this place is for all ages. I started going as a kid with my family, and now I go on dates here. I have only went here during the fall, but I believe they have events for Christmas and private parties. *COVID-19* I felt very safe here during my visit today which is why this place shot up from four stars to five. The staff were wearing masks, all guests were wearing masks and maintaining social distance, and all areas were being constantly cleaned. This is a must visit site this fall. read more

I had never been to Three Cedar's and I went with a friend and her boyfriend. I was very disappointed with the donuts and cider. Donut's were cold and cider was very bland. There was a cat sitting on the table's we were meant to eat at. I enjoyed the general store and the ladies working were very personable. I should've brought cash because there's a 3.99% credit card fee. I went to the hay ride stand and the older gentleman was rude. I had to pay $10 for myself while my friend and her boyfriend paid $10 for the both of them. It said "$10 a family" and didn't specify children or adults who were alone. It was a very short hay ride. I understand cider mill's have gotten more expensive, but this felt like you were getting robbed. I wouldn't recommend going here when there are many other place's in the area with more things to offer. read more

Tourist trap. $5 per person for a hayride where you will 100% be covered in mud from the previous riders. We paid $30 for the corn maze. An absolute rip off. The guy working the corn maze told us there's "a couple of spots that have some mud." He flat out lied. In reality, there were only a couple of dry spots. The rest was ankle-deep mud. We watched 2 children and 2 adults slip and fall. Think more "corn swamp" than corn maze. The cider and donuts were literally no better than your local grocery store sells. Just 3X the price. Most of the employees were either rude or condescending. We aired our slip & fall co concerns that fell on deaf ears. They didn't care whatsoever. There is NO petting farm. Just caged pigs, goats, and bunnies that you have ZERO access to. In all don't travel out to this scam. Stay local, and save your money. Never, ever again. read more

The farm is bigger than I thought it would be, and way more crowded than I imagine it could get. Went for the good cider and did not disappoint. The slushy though, was almost just cold cider; pretty much all liquid and no slush. Doughnut was also good, 1 for $2, 6 for $8, and 12 for $10, too bad I don't have a big enough stomach for a dozen doughnuts. The corn maze was not too big and pretty easy. Very muddy due to the recent rains. The sign to guide you to the corn maze though, is horrible. I check online for the price and it said $5/person for the corn maze. I asked the donut hut sales person for direction to the corn maze and he said the hayride will bring me to and back from the corn maze. I saw the sign leading to the hay ride saying to corn maze pay $5 when you get on the ride. Cash only of course, saw that online, so I knew about that. Waited in the super long line with no social distancing for the hay rider, and paid $5 each to get on. Once we got to the corn maze, I then finally realized I have to pay another $5 for the corn maze, and I was out of cash. And of course to go back to the atm in the donut hut, you'd have to take the hay ride back and get the cash, then once again stay in the super long line, pay for another hay ride, and come back to pay for the corn maze, which does not make sense at all. They should have made it more clear on the hayride sign or the website or sell corn maze ticket with the train ticket at donut hut, somewhere close to the atm. Thankfully the person selling the corn maze ticket was understanding enough to let us go into the corn maze anyway. Bring some extra cash with you so you don't end up like me. read more

I went to Three Cedars Farm for a private party. This review is not based on prices since I did not spend any money on food, activities , or the store. There is so much to see and do here. It's a delight to just walk around and see all of the decorations. Everything was decorated for Halloween, especially the country store. It was a feast for the eyes. They sell lots of collectables, old fashioned candy, jams, syrups and much more. There are many activities for kids and adults alike. There is a free petting farm. Lots if play areas for children. The farm itself is nice. Cute stuff for kids. So while I do like this place keep this in mind- IT IS CASH ONLY!!! We didn't realize this when we went to pick pumpkins. Had to use ATM to get cash for pumpkins and then again for donuts. My husband and I used the ATM separately, both of us realizing we were FORCED to check the balance first and then were able to withdrawal from our accounts. This resulted in multiple fees from our banks to 1) check the balanxe and 2) make a withdrawal. Plus the $3 ATM fee. This is crappy to do to people. I was told there were signs everywhere about cash only, but I didn't not see one. Didn't see one anywhere near the prices of the hayride/pumpkin patch, no where on the sign for donut and cider prices. Disappointed for sure. read more

My sister and I took the kids here. Beside the COVID-19 regulation. This was pretty nice for the kids. The lines moved fairly quickly. It was a Saturday and it was a nice crowd but not too crowded. The kids had a blast and the weather was really nice so it wasn't a mushy mess like. This was definitely a great place to start the fall season off with. I got pumpkin butter, apple butter, a dozen of cinnamon and sugar donuts, a gallon of cider, and cider spice mix all to go. Not to mention a hot cider and two cider slushy. And the kids also got the pumpkin sippy cup for a souvenir. Price were reasonable and parking was also easy. read more

Terrible experience. My son got bit by a dog leaving the farm today (10/1/23). We informed two workers there who told us to email them and let them know what happened. Shortly after my email, I received a call from a guy that works at the farm. It is stated on their website that no pets are allowed. I told him how my son got bit and proceeded to tell me heading to their parking lot is not their property. I said your website states no pets allowed. He replied pets are not allowed on the property. The owner of the dog still went into the "property" after biting my son. the Employee also told me they are too busy to police the visitors. They need to be enforcing their policy. Parking lot is still your property. This was handled POORLY!!! Thank you for caring about the safety of your visitors. read more
