Took my 4 year old niece here to get out of the house. It is great to have these types of places while living in Michigan. She had a great time and was able to play anywhere she really wanted. There is a toddler area that is super small but the rest is for bigger kids. At times the place can be busy and a lot of kids could be running around. But for the most part I felt safe having her wonder off on her own. The kids were very respectful and the parents made sire their kids were behaving. The place was clean and had splenty of chairs and tables for everyone to sit. My only critic to this place was there was a room with interactive monitors but was wasted space. No kid went in there and could maybe be used as something else. Overall, was recommended by another mother and would definitely recommend to other parents. read more

We celebrated my kid's 6th birthday party there and it went smooth! We rented it out completely which was a bit pricey, but her birthday is during cold/flu season so we figured might be worth it! We ordered a ton of food that they make on site and received tons of compliments about having healthy options and very fresh food! Okay for older kids, definitely a no go for toddlers. Their 3 and under area was awful. Toys mounted too high on the walls for toddlers to reach. It's open, not gated. Older children were running through it with no staff correcting this. Icing on the cake was ZERO outlet covers. Even in the toddler area. Seriously wondering who designed this place. Pretty fun and clean but I wish they had a lock-in gate to keep toddlers in while they're on the run. My son knows how to open doors and his favorite part of under the sea is opening the door to leave. I keep a close eye on him but sometimes if I'm busy doing something like buying lunch I'm scared he'll run out without me knowing. My first and last time! If I can give this place a 0 star I would have. Truly awful and where to begin. First, as you walk in the little kid area is to the left. My 10 month old son wasn't even able to be put down because of how gross their equipment is. There is a black caked on dirt on everything. The woman who runs the place has her children roam around like they own the place. It's one thing when you do own and professionalism is another story. The foam mats where the kids play and run around on is stained in black and some areas you find it sticky. I noticed they don't care when kids go up with food but in their hands and mouth. This is the Worst kids place I have ever been to. If you have to have your party here find an alternative or do not have a party at all. There's nobody sitting at the door when you first walk in so you could've walked him for free. I was told I could not walk on the floor mats with my gym shoes or no mask but other people were granted access to do so because they were Part of a birthday party package. We got there one hour and a half before close and I was not offered a discount...other places like jungle Java would let us know that Before hand. I heard about this place from a friend, and since it is so close to my home, I decided to check it out. I initially tried in the morning, but learned it was closed due to a private party. As such, first tip is to call ahead, to make sure it is open to the public. I called later in the day and confirmed they were open to the public and went back in the afternoon. I got in without a hitch and my 3 year old started taking off her shoes as soon as he saw the structure. He was just able to do most of the necessary climbing, but this place is better suit for 4 and up. They do have a toddler area, but is pretty underwhelming, and not worth the price of admission by itself. There were two birthday parties going on at the same time when I got there, so it was a bit hectic. Also, they really don't supervise the structure, so if you definitely need to keep you eyes on your kid or they are likely to be pushed around when it gets crowded. Saw kids crashing into one another on the slides on multiple occasions, but this is more on the parents then on the business. Also, I did notice that the mats were pretty dirty, but seeing the amount traffic this place deals with in a day, this is something you will have to expect. However, I think it is a step above taking your kids to one of those play areas in the mall. In sum, I liked the place, and it looks like a good place for kids parties, but not something that needs to be added to my regular rotation of kids activities. read more

Majority of the staff were incredibly "distracted" by their own personal phones, so the customer service was awful. So, I gave this place two stars only because my nanny-kid enjoyed himself despite the circumstances. I was Greeted at the window by a woman who looked less than thrilled that I asked her to give me just a moment to talk to the 3 year old who was trying desperately to get though the door before I paid... only to see her later, on her cellphone video taping who I can only hope was her daughter playing in the spot by the TV? The window was left unattended and completely open. Register right beside it. (I saw this only because my nanny-kid tried to sit in the chair and push the buttons on the register itself. ) But the worst part was when I had to take him into the bathroom and there was absolutely NO toilet paper in either stall. I had to run out, leaving him in there with the stall locked, and grab napkins, which I then had to get wet, to wipe him! This is also when I noticed the lady at the window was missing. I intended to go to her about the missing TP right after I used the napkins, but ended up going to the concession stand, only to find the man sitting behind the counter chatting on his cellphone. I explained the situation, he did apologize, but then he only put one roll in each stall. There are holders for two... in each... and this place is for children. Even though, Under The Sea is a little pricey ($9 for kid), I felt like the price was worth it. It was clean and my kids had an absolute blast. I found this place with the recommendation from Yelp and was able to use the $2 coupon for our visit. So $3 for my 15 month old son was a great deal since he can really only run around and watch the big kids play. The toddler area was nice, a little smaller than I had hoped for but it kept him busy. I love the interactive music wall, even he was able to enjoy that. Additionally, the area is not fenced off so big kids kept running through the area and my child kept escaping to the larger area.
