Friendly service and good food! I had the veggie sandwich and my mother had the vegan meatball sandwich. It's nice to see vegan options, especially on a long road trip (though we aren't vegan, we like vegan food). The fries are baked as are many of the sandwiches. The fries were surprisingly good as they were crispy and warm without being greasy. If you live nearby or are in the road, definitely check this place out. read more

Do not eat here. Unless you have a strong immune system and a high tolerance for sub-par service. We were served chicken wings that were cold in the middle. When we told the manager she almost apologized and reheated them, with the sauce on. She brought them back burnt and dry without apology. They were still inedible and she was very rude when we didn't want to pay for them. Our waitress was young and almost certainly trained by the inept manager so I won't complain about the very poor service. Do you stomach a break and skip this place. read more

We really looked forward to the pizza from Upper Crust Pizza and Wings. We ordered three pizzas using their app because we were driving in from Rapid City. The pizzas were not ready at the requested time. They said they we're going to start them immediately. 20 minutes later we were still waiting. They now told us they forgot to start the pizzas. When we finally got the pizzas almost 40 minutes after the requested time they were short one pizza. And one pizza had the wrong toppings. They refunded us but we will not be returning. There a Pizza Hut in Chamberlain that will at least get the order right and not 40 minutes late. read more

I'd leave no stars if I could. My wife and I walked in and sat at the bar on a Saturday evening and got absolutely zero service. Yes it was slightly busy and yes I understand that the world is short staffed but we waited at least 10 minutes and not even an acknowledgement of us even being there. Three folks who clearly lived in town walked in 10 minutes after us and got served instantly. We ordered the supreme pizza and it tasted great! They used premium ingredients and it showed in the flavor. However, the service was a bit slow. They didn't seem to really know the order people came in. We had to go get the waitress who was taking an order from a family who just walked in when there were five other customers who were ahead. read more

EXCELLENT is how I would describe this place. Showed up a little late on a Friday. Despite the later hour, the staff was prompt and friendly. Quickly got us drinks and took our order. Ordered a supreme pizza and wings. The pizza came with a choice of crust. Went with regular crust (vs thin and pan styles)...the pizza was very good. Perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The wings were incredible. Tried the spicy garlic, and these guys aren't screwing around when they say 'spicy'. My mouth was tingling after the first bite. The wings also came with breadsticks, which were equally tasty. The fact that they offer a good variety of beer and wines is what puts them into 5 star territory. Stopped in for dinner on a roadtrip. We are staying at the hotel across the street so this was easy for us. The place was empty when we walked in (~5:45pm) but quickly began to fill up. Service started out extremely slow. It was at least five minutes before the waitress (one person in the entire front of house) brought us menus. But after that, she was attentive in bringing us water, taking our order and bringing our food. Food-wise, nothing spectacular but the pizza filled us up. We found this gem of a restaurant on our vacation to the Black Hills from Minneapolis. We stopped in both ways, to and from. Our kids had: -Ham & Cheese Sandwich (AMAZING--on a hoagie with delicious mozzarella cheese melted onto the bread, easily big enough for an adult's appetite) -cheeseburgers (my son announced it was the best cheeseburger he'd ever had) -7" Cheese Pizza. All were delicious, had more than enough food, and were a great deal at $5.99 per meal (which included drinks and fries). My husband and I split the 12" pizza each time, me with the Vegetarian toppings both times, and he had the Supreme on his half for the first time, and the Bacon Cheeseburger on his half the 2nd time. He said he was nervous about the Bacon Cheeseburger because it has ketchup and mustard, but was pleasantly surprised (and delighted!). He also raved about the Supreme. The Veggie Supreme was awesome--fresh, crisp veggies each time and very tasty. The food arrived very quickly, and I think we were in and out within 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and attentive. Five Stars all around. If we are ever back in Chamberlain or on a road trip passing through, we will definitely be back! read more

No frills, likely Udo's pizza crust, yet after a long day of driving it hit the spot. Paired it with herbivore salad. We were amused by their bar seating. Interior is something like a cafeteria. Moving to Chamberlain, I had my reservations on what places would be available to eat decent meals. I'm happy to report that the Upper Crust Pizza & Wings has DELICIOUS food! We had pizza (supreme), wings, and mozzarella sticks. The pizza's crust was crunchy and the toppings were fresh. The wings were not super crispy, but the flavor was fantastic. Their dipping sauces were okay - I would like to try a few more options. The mozzarella sticks had cheese on top of the bread, rather than inside the middle, but we didn't mind at all! We had plenty of food to take home and after reheating the food the next day, it was still just as good! All of our food was brought out in a timely manner and our waitress did a great job keeping our drinks full and our stomachs happy! read more

This is a great place to eat, I had the Chamberlain cheese steak, my wife had the Italian meatball sandwich. Both were excellent, and a great value at about seven bucks each. My wife and I are passing through and staying at Best Western. Upper Crust is right across the street, so we looked on line and I walked across to order take-out! I ordered the French-Dip sandwich and the spinach artichoke cheese dip! I paid when I ordered - total bill $19.33...I paid $25.00. The wait was a little long, but it was a about 5:30 pm. When I brought the food to Best Western, the French Dip (my wife's was "Okay" but the dip that I had was the worst I ever had! It was supposed to have 4 different cheeses AND topped with Parmesan cheese. I seriously wonder if there was ANY cheese ... and absolutely NO Parmesan cheese on top! I could only find/taste spinach and a little sauce. There were THREE ( I searched and counted) small pieces of artichoke total! Tasted totally bland due to lack of cheese! To make it worse - like a slap in the face - the person who took my order, took food she apparently ordered and left. The other waitress (very gracious) asked what I ordered and found it and gave it to me... I have no idea how long it had been sitting there! I'll never go there again...very disappointed!!! read more

The pasta is good, but won't satisfy a hungry individual. The only thing lacking was the servers refilling the drinks and takes a decent amount of time before the food comes out.
