In this day and age, who still limits the sale of alcohol? I wanted to bring in my zero-sugar root beer, but none of the businesses allowed it due to these outdated, prohibition-style laws. When we arrived, we were the only customers, so we were seated immediately. After placing our orders, we waited a reasonable amount of time before my friend's salad arrived. However, he barely got halfway through his salad before our entrees came out--way too soon! My friend had ordered bangers and mash, but we couldn't help but laugh when the food arrived. The bangers were so dried out, it seemed like they'd either been microwaved or left in the deep fryer for too long. The potatoes looked fine, but my friend said they were completely flavorless. I ordered fish and chips, and it was awful. The fries were lukewarm, the coleslaw had an overpowering horseradish taste, and the fish was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I had to pick out the fish with a fork and leave the soggy, grease-soaked breading behind. There was literally a pool of grease on my plate. The saddest part? My first bite, which had a bit of everything, actually tasted great--but that didn't last. Somewhere I read that the pub describes itself as "a pub, not a restaurant." Believe them.

First-Hand Experience: Info on my personal visit to this stadium - I wasn't thrilled by my trip to see this stadium, as it's a lot smaller than most of the college football stadiums I visit. However it's a nice facility and I was able to walk all around it and even inside without any trouble. I think it just about deserves 4 stars. I've been to every cool stadium in the UK & North America, due to my obsession with travel & sport. I've toured America as a musician for 7 or 8 years. In that time, I've seen sports games at, or visited when empty (and usually both), at almost every major stadium in US and Canada. I have pictures of most which I will upload at some point. Also, on future travels, I plan to take new pix, and add more stadia! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** This isn't a particularly impressive stadium, holding 31k people, but it creates quite an atmosphere and is the pride of Jonesboro, which is a lovely city in Arkansas where I had one of my best crowds at a concert (unfortunately it wasn't at this stadium). The Red Wolves of Arkansas State play here and I've only been in here when its empty but the locals tell me that it's a lot louder than you'd expect.

Luckily the husband of the lady next to me unhooked their chairs and the other guy left for another seat. Since this is a music venue, it does function best at that if it is for dance floor use. We were close to the stage so we had a nice view. There were also the two screens showing the comedians. There were levels, all with the same seating, which made it easy to get a good look. It is cozy, not to large to get a bad seat. Try to pick your seat in the end if you are not waifer thin.
