    14" Bbq pizza

I have to say that the pizza was pretty good at this spot. We ordered the pizza that has roasted pork on it, but unfortunately, they ran out of pork and didn't let us know until after the order was placed and they mixed in some ham and bacon instead and it was pretty good. The kids enjoyed their pizza as well all in all, it's a pretty solid spot.

In all reality I'd rate Upper Crust around a 7-7.5/10. One of the best parts is that you can grab pizza by the slice , perfect when you're single and just want something quick without committing to a whole pie. The slices are a decent size too; you can easily make a full meal out of just one, which makes it a really affordable dinner option, often cheaper than or comparable to fast food. Service was fast, the place was clean, and it made for an easy stop. That said, the sauce isn't for me. There's a heavy hand with oregano and fennel, and fennel especially is a flavor I can't do , it really overpowered the cheese. For me, the cheese slice is the foundation of any pizzeria; if it doesn't hit the mark, it makes it hard to get excited about trying other toppings. The pepperoni slice was definitely better, but I still kept getting bites of fennel. They also happened to be out of the soda I wanted to try, and while staff sent someone out to grab more syrup, it didn't make it back before I left. Not a huge deal, it happens at every restaurant every once in a while. Overall: Solid, quick, and affordable. Great portion sizes and value, but the sauce seasoning just isn't to my taste.

I love that this place serves pizza by the slice. I ordered the meat slice and it's as big as your face. It was a thin crust with the perfect amount of toppings and sauce. There is a some indoor seating but more outdoor seating, so you may consider bringing a light jacket if you go in the evenings. Once you order they text you when it's ready for you to walk inside and lick it up. The staff was courteous to me and my family. Great addition to the Winter Haven community.

A little tiny serving of sauce for $1.02. Ridiculous

Let's start this review by saying we travel all around and are always in hopes of an average to incredible meal. As we've traveled around this particular area trying the various pizza joints, this experience was nothing short of horrible. At first glance in the door at Upper Crest they hold pre-made pizza sitting there for "by the slice" customers. I pointed out to my wife that those pieces had very little sauce or cheese, so make sure we ordered at least extra cheese. The girl at the counter was very disrespectful (as-to a customer) and unfriendly. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheesesteak sandwich. The order was ready, and first thing we noticed was the sandwich was cold. The cheese was nowhere near melted, and just plain cold. The pizza didn't have extra cheese and the sauce was minimal. We asked for extra sauce to dip in, so she handed us a little tiny container and charged us I think $1.02 for nothing. The cheese was not good, with very little taste and the same with the sauce. At least what little we could taste. Not good, very poor customer service and bad overall experience and quality. Much, much better around.

The dough is from scratch and the owner is always making it fresh. The toppings are always overflowing and delicious. The best part are the different styles of pizza and toppings making it unique and perfect for a different palate. The customer service is always nice and I love the outdoor seating very comfortable.

First time buying. Thought I would try a Phila cheesesteak. I was born and raised around the Philadelphia area so I know what they should taste like. This was god awful. Typical Florida cheesesteak. American cheese, meat baked in an oven that was so tuff I found it very thought to eat. Tenderized on a flat top is the only way to cook a cheesesteak. At a price tag of $16.04 I will pass on this place any time soon. If you are interested in a real cheesesteak go to Delco's in Dunedin Florida where their roots are from south Jersey and Phila.

The mini sauce that costs extra

The girl at the counter was extremely rude and not friendly at all. I asked for extra sauce and she charged another $1 for a tiny cup with a drop of sauce in it. The pizza was okay but no extra cheese like we asked for. The Philly cheesesteak was ice cold when it came out. I rarely do negative reviews but the employee at the counter was extremely rude.

After having their pizza twice, I can safely say this is my all time favorite pizza place. The crust is always crispy and I love the crispy pepperoni. They load it with toppings and you get full just eating 2 pieces. Try it and you can thank me later!

It was only ok, costly for what you get. A lot of dough and sparse cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms...Hungry Howies better, cost less

That's when we came across Sauvage, a Polynesian craft bar & kitchen located in the heart of Winter Haven. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was right--vibrant, tropical, trendy, and fun. And then we spotted two retro arcade games--Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter Turbo--that guests can play while waiting for their food. Talk about nostalgia! That definitely took us back to our childhoods. Okay, okay... I'm showing our age. Let's get back to the food! The Brunch Sauvage's menu combines Polynesian-inspired cuisine with American favorites and creative twists, which immediately caught our attention. We decided to share two entrées: Duck Confit Benedict Duck confit served over crispy hash browns, topped with poached eggs, hollandaise, and chives. Brunch Scallion Pancake A savory scallion pancake topped with scrambled eggs, cheese, millionaire bacon, island sauce, and sweet Thai chili, served with a side of grits. Both dishes were different, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved that each entrée came served in its own personalized cast-iron skillet. It made the presentation feel rustic and unique while keeping everything warm. And the portions were perfectly sized for brunch--satisfying without being overwhelmingly heavy. And Then There Was the Cocktail... We couldn't visit a Polynesian craft bar without trying one of their creative cocktails! We went with the Mango Sticky Rice Milk Punch -- made with coconut-washed brandy, mango soju, five-spice, and vanilla. This cocktail was cool, light, fruity, and refreshing, with just enough of that tropical flavor to make it feel like the perfect summer brunch drink. Honestly, I really enjoyed it! Sauvage was such a fun find for our Sunday brunch. Between the tropical atmosphere, creative Polynesian-American menu, unique cocktails, nostalgic arcade games, and beautifully presented food, it was definitely more than just your typical brunch spot. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-portioned, and thoughtfully presented. And the fact that we discovered it while celebrating a 50th birthday weekend made the experience even better. Would I come back? Absolutely! Next time we're in Winter Haven, we're skipping brunch and coming back for dinner. I'm definitely curious to see what Sauvage is doing with their dinner menu. Sauvage gets a "we'll definitely be back" from us!

Although there was a bit of a wait, our service was great and the overall experience was positive. This is a gorgeous restaurant that is very elegant. Our server Tammy was LOVELY - so attentive (even being so busy), great recommendations and really just a delight to have as a server. We all chose a variety of things, but I had the mushroom and truffle ravioli as a starter that was very good. I could tell the pasta was made in house. My boyfriend had the spinach gnocchi that was fantastic!!! I was jealous I didn't order it lol. He got the prime rib, that he said was good. I have the prime filet that was good, but I wish the chimichurri on top had a little bit more flavor. We were bummed we couldn't order the espresso martini tower for my mother in law, but understood it would have been a huge stressor on the bar staff. We did order a few espresso martinis à la carte and they were fantastic! Definitely made with fresh espresso. Lastly, the crème brulee came out flaming and was absolutely the best I've ever had!
